With Pulte you get a mixed bag. Overall the people we’ve worked with directly were conscientious and well intentioned and responsive to our questions and requests. The finish workmanship detail has been very poor, especially with regard to painting (front door entry, spiral staircase, front exterior) and front brick work. Very sloppy on detail. I’m thinking, “I just paid what I paid and this is what I got?”. Uggghhh! I heard about Pulte Build Quality, but I guess it didn’t include these things. It’s not like anyone from Pulte has come to me and said, “we agree this is sloppy and we can do better. we’re going to make this right”. Everyone was very responsive and the quality was great as well. The only issue is the house was not designed with the owner in mind. There are a lot of inconveniently located items that Pulte was unwilling to change prior to construction. These items severely limit space.

I was not happy with the experience. I feel that they do not go above and beyond and once you sign they don't even call you back. They don't finish the end product.

Gina was great with sales and communication. Anthony and Nick have been helpful and responsive during and after building. Celeste made making design choices easy in the design center. While most of the work was high quality, the quality and neatness of a couple of the sub-contractors was not up to Pulte and our standards.

Great experience would encourage anyone who is looking for a builder to give Pulte a call

We really like the design of the house. There is a lot of storage space. You do, however, pay extra for every little things. The things that come standard are so basic that everyone - from the sales person to the consultant at the design meeting highly encourages you to upgrade, which then, of course, drives up the cost for the house. Most frustrating has been our closing experience. We had a pre-closing walk-through date set. At 5 PM the night before, we got a call that the walk-through and our move-in date (scheduled for that weekend) had to be moved back. I understand issues around supply, but those should have been known earlier on. We already had everything set up to make the move happen - and trying to manage a move during COVID with a 1-year old baby is challenging enough without the company changing dates on you last minute! Many of the issues from our pre-closing walk-through had not been addressed. We have since added additional items to the list that we noticed (e.g., we paid extra for a mirror in our master bathroom since don't come standard - the mirror they installed was chipped. We didn't notice it during the walk-through as a lot of furniture had paint splatters on it - so I assumed it was the same with the mirror. But when I looked at it, it was chipped). Now, two months later, nothing has been taken care of. Last Friday, we were told that contractors would stop by to address all items on the list. The e-mail confirmation, however, only listed two of about 10 items. We called and were told all items would be addressed. I then rearranged my work schedule to make sure I was available during the time the contractors would come by. And nobody came. We called to let them know and now, almost a week later, nothing has been done yet. I have responded to several surveys sharing the challenges we've had with getting our closing items completed - we then get a phone call from someone higher up in the company promising that things will be taken care of. That sometimes results in an e-mail or phone call promising that work will get done - but then there is no follow-through. I would not buy from Pulte ever again. ... More

Please be very careful when deciding a Pulte home. Your first experience at the model, just like with any other builder, will be a great one and you will see the potential for your home. First piece of advice, I would ensure you have a good sales consultant that knows what they are doing and is knowledgeable. Ours was the opposite of that and essentially ruined the home buying experience for us. She tried to charge us for things that were not needed, neglected to advise us that basic items, such as a master bathroom mirror and a garage door opener were not included in the purchase. Those two items we learned about the days leading up to closing. Floors are uneven in the home, the home was unfinished and dirty, and then responses to get workers to the house have been, at best, slow to respond. It has been nearly two months since closing and we are still waiting for "punch list" items to be completed regarding the interior of the home. Pulte and their sales consultants seem to be more concerned about profitability vs customer satisfaction which is unfortunate considering how much people are spending on these homes. (Note: I have requested someone from Pulte to contact me regarding my experience thus far and their neglect to do so speaks volumes about their feelings towards customer service) ... More

From the sale through the material selection process and through construction, everyone we dealt with at Pulte was professional, knowledgeable, responsive and a pleasure to deal with. No construction process is perfect, but the minor items (not issues) that came up were handled quickly and professionally. I am in the construction business and I am thoroughly impressed with the Pulte Team and the quality of our new home

We worked with Sales, Design Studio, Mortgage Title, and Construction. All departments worked well together and frequently followed up to see how everything was going.

Beautifully build homes using high quality material

Be wary of what is or is not included in upgraded features. For example, we paid a ton of money for a walk-in shower with a spa package but we can now not fully use the jets without soaking the drywall outside of the shower because the upgrade didn't come with a shower door. The frustrating part is that the standard shower comes with a door so why wouldn't the upgraded one. No one will answer me.

From the Sales Manager at our development to the Field Manager to the trades used to build our home, we had a very good experience. Any questions were answered promptly. You could sense that the Pulte team wanted to give you a quality home and for you, the consumer, to be happy and satisfied.

This is the only new home I ever purchased so its hard to compare them to other builders. However I felt at ease with them and believe house is well built.

We could not be happier with our overall result. We are thrilled everyday to be here. Our experience with the sales team, management and construction manager was great. Our almost 5 star rating was do to a very bumpy ride with the mortgage team. We did not receive our mortgage approval until the night before our actual closing, which was 8 months after our purchase contract signing.

Over all great experience other than few mis communication regarding contract and what was included in contract, like simple things, only one garage door opener instead of two. Building a half million house and then leaving one garage as manual without telling or informing or giving it as an option. Over all still I would say 5/5 in almost every department. More so due to interaction with Nick, he has been great help. He is straightforward and very helpful at same time. Its because of him that over all experience for me has been the best.

Great quality home that is of a reasonable price and is beautiful! Up until now, any issues are timely addressed by warranty as well.

I purchased a Home from Pulte at the Cuneo Mansion in December 2019. The whole process took 7 months ,pandemic period included. There were issues from the beginning, the sales department team lacked the skills, they changed the sales contact person right after we signed, the blame passing started after that stage ,sales manager would get in touch only when I was ready to contact headquarters which I felt it was very unprofessional , he’s there to help I had a minor issue caused by the previous sales person that I needed addressed, acting like an unreachable CEO didn’t help the image of Pulte (I hear this from other residents as well, so it’s a regular business practice of his apparently) .The design department shows no interest in helping you choose anything or in selling you quality materials without triple the price , i can honestly say it wasn’t an amazing home buying experience , absolutely not , not for the price, but they build decent homes,the home plans are very modern and beautiful, the location is amazing , close to everything you could possibly need , they use lower price and quality materials , but you can tell that right away. Location beats any disadvantages, price-wise be ready to pay more for what is worth , quality speaking. The workmanship is good, they are not very responsive to issues once you do the closing survey I heard from the community . Construction engineer, Ryan was cooperant and professional , he saved the company image for us. So far after one month living in the new home I am pretty satisfied with the house. Minor issues that I hope they will address, nothing major so far! I recommend this subdivision for any age group, there’s a great mix of all ages , very beautiful surroundings. We love the house and the craftsmanship is incredible. The post sale responsiveness to a service tickets has been terrible and borderline unacceptable. Apparently caring about a customer after money is in the bank ends.
