I purchased a Home from Pulte at the Cuneo Mansion in December 2019. The whole process took 7 months ,pandemic period included. There were issues from the beginning, the sales department team lacked the skills, they changed the sales contact person right after we signed, the blame passing started after that stage ,sales manager would get in touch only when I was ready to contact headquarters which I felt it was very unprofessional , he’s there to help I had a minor issue caused by the previous sales person that I needed addressed, acting like an unreachable CEO didn’t help the image of Pulte (I hear this from other residents as well, so it’s a regular business practice of his apparently) .The design department shows no interest in helping you choose anything or in selling you quality materials without triple the price , i can honestly say it wasn’t an amazing home buying experience , absolutely not , not for the price, but they build decent homes,the home plans are very modern and beautiful, the location is amazing , close to everything you could possibly need , they use lower price and quality materials , but you can tell that right away. Location beats any disadvantages, price-wise be ready to pay more for what is worth , quality speaking. The workmanship is good, they are not very responsive to issues once you do the closing survey I heard from the community . Construction engineer, Ryan was cooperant and professional , he saved the company image for us. So far after one month living in the new home I am pretty satisfied with the house. Minor issues that I hope they will address, nothing major so far! I recommend this subdivision for any age group, there’s a great mix of all ages , very beautiful surroundings. We love the house and the craftsmanship is incredible. The post sale responsiveness to a service tickets has been terrible and borderline unacceptable. Apparently caring about a customer after money is in the bank ends.

Once you move in stay in home you will notice lot of things like finishing doors touch up holes on hardwood floor and walls nails... you will notice so many issue... when you invested half million with smart home option, pulte did not provided me second garage opener and never communicated. Pulte just change their polices but never communicate with home owners.

From start to finish, our experience building with Pulte Homes has exceeded our expectations. Karen, our sales consultant, is a dream to work with! Sweet, attentive and so responsive. We stalked our home regularly, and really got to know the crew. They worked so hard, and took great pride in building our home. Our site managers, Brandon & Anthony, kept us looped in - and excited - each step of the way. We love the flow of our Riverton model, especially the ability to convert the large dining room to a roomy 1st Floor bedroom in the future - without losing garage space or the office! We love that the Owner’s Suite is tucked away from the loft & other bedrooms. My advice to those who haven’t built new construction before: ask for a complete list of options & upgrades before you lock in your structural choices! There are items you might not have considered: insulated garage & garage doors, upgraded garage door styles, oversized/taller exterior entry door. Many are structural and need to be selected early on, before flooring & counter tops. Visit models!!! Get ideas of cabinet colors & styles, and different floor plans. Best Builder. Start to finish the construction our townhomes. Excellent job

In comparison to a custom home builder the quality of our Pulte home is poor. Walls aren't straight, tile is crooked, windows aren't level, and paint work is lousy. Perhaps all production builders have the same bad quality, but for this pricetag you should be able to expect better workmanship! I won't buy another Pulte house!

Everything up front has bee great After closing response is slow! Don’t blame it on virus!

Builder charges >2500.00 USD to pain your home 1 wall color and 1 white ceiling paint. They use Sherwin Williams CHB paint on the walls including bathrooms. This paint does not wear well and is NOT recommended by Sherwin Williams as a durable wall paint. CHB was also used on the bathroom walls with no anti-microbial protection. If it gets wet it stains. Garage is not finished and assumed the buyer will spend another ~2K out of pocket to finish drywall and paint. A deadbolt lock is not included for the front door. Hardwood floor and stair railings are considerably marked up Carpets is low quality and has 5 year warranty Having insulation in a garage is an upgrade / additional charge. ~950.00 USD The stair rails are glued in place If you want lights above the shower and in some closets ... it is an upgrade. The design center is a gimmick to make up margin on home -- products are marked up >62% - 81% The builder doesn't leave the homeowner any additional tile/flooring/paint or touch up paint for cabinets. It is up to the homeowner to research contact each company to order. The standard sidewalk is 3' width The cement stoop off the basement is 3x3 Downspouts are not buried Serial numbers are not left for the homeowner to register their appliances ... More

ceiling needs repairs bad and they have still not corrected it. Been 3 months now.

The Pulte salesperson separated from Pulte just after I signed the purchase agreement in January. I was not able to do a walk-through to view the construction progress. I did a walk through the morning of the closing in mid-March and everything looked okay except for a few missing upgrades that the sales rep had verbally promised. The governor issued a Covid 19 "stay-at-home" order so no repairs can be addressed at this time. The essentials are working fine... HVAC, electricity, plumbing, water... My repair list is long but does not include any major concerns. I've purchased and added weather stripping for the drafty doors that will just need some adjustment. I fixed the door bell by moving the wires so now it has just the one chime... it goes just "ding", but not "ding -dong". Thanks to YouTube I have fixed the balance shoes and pins on the windows. In some cases the pins are completely missing so the windows cannot stay open. I've taped down where the wood floor has raised splinters so it doesn't injure my stocking feet. Unfortunately the Pulte Warranty Manager, like the sales representative, was released from employment. He had kept a list of all my needed repairs and had planned to address them as soon as Covid would allow workers to resume employment. Very nice location and home

Mostly satisfied under the current prevailing conditions of Lock down. Coordinating nearby inter state move has been challenging. Couldn't move for 2 months after closing. A shout out to Lori [Sales Person] and Nick [Housing Manager] for their helpful guidance during entire process.

Read the reviews on this site very carefully. The mortgage process was a teeth grinding nightmare; however, the loan consultant was the saving grace. Mortgage processor asked for information piecemeal and how many times do you need to check with an underwriter for someone who is close to a credit score of 800? Title insurance was wonderful. The pre-drywall walk through was well done with considerable knowledge and helpful detail shared. While there is no doubt the structure is well built, some interior finishes are low quality, overpriced and contractor final work is sloppy. If there are quality checks on interior contractor work it’s not done to the highest regard as the house structure itself. There was ceiling paint on hardwood floors and the marble fireplace that I needed to remove. Kitchen cabinet uppers have chips where handles have been screwed in, dents and one has a screw end visible beneath where the molding was attached. The water from the fridge and kitchen faucet tastes terrible and has a plastic odor. After repeated follow up on the issues, one to the customer care manager (no reply) and a colleague (3 follow ups), I’m advised the water is piped the same as every home out here and it’s definitely safe. Hmmm..so why does it smell and taste so bad. The rest of the items need to wait 11 months. These are basic things that the builder should own and rectify without delay. Sadly, very disappointed. ... The building process was exceptional. I was informed every step of the way and felt I was a part of the process rather than a bystander.

Great people to work with. Quality of the material is not that great as compared to the price. Does lacks some finishes/touchups at the first place which were taken care once service request were created. Overall I am happy with Pulte. Would definitely recommend.
