Happy with the overall experience from initial showing to closing. Pulte understood my out of state situation and allowed me to close in my home state of NV. Communication has always been positive up to and including today. I would highly recommend Homes to anyone looking for a quality project.

The overall home buying process was relatively smooth, and we appreciated the support provided by both the sales agent and Pulte Mortgage. However, we are deeply disappointed with the quality of our new home, especially considering the significant amount of money we invested. Hence, we expected the quality of workmanship and servicing to match it. While we understand that it’s possible for minor issues to be overlooked during construction, the number of noticeable problems we've encountered in our home is concerning. We were informed that our home would undergo several quality checkpoints, but there have been multiple issues that we feel could have easily been addressed during the construction process. One of the first issues we noticed was the appearance of our walls, which have noticeable curves that should not be present in a newly built home. We had one of them fixed during our celebration walkthrough but we found another that is much more noticeable and we have been told it’ll be fixed after one year. Additionally, our stove top, which is an essential appliance, required repairs twice shortly after moving in because the knobs we’re not placed correctly (potential hazard) and arrived with a dent, which was disappointing for a brand-new product. Our doorbell has also been a persistent problem, starting out with intermittent functionality and now producing a strange noise, despite having been serviced once already. We asked for it be serviced or replaced but now we must reach out directly to the manufacturer for help which frustrating because a lot of our time has already been taken up by all of these issues that do not seem to end. Furthermore, we had a vent that needed to be placed under our kitchen sink area attached to the island. We did not know this as it had been covered up without a cutout for it and we only noticed when we turned on our heater recently and felt the air coming out slightly. However, that was somehow missed during construction and this issue had been promptly serviced by Pulte but again it was just frustrating and concerning to continue discovering these problems. Another concern is the condition of our flooring, where one of the floorboards arrived with a slight crack, which should have been caught during the inspection process. We were also disappointed to find that some of the upgrades we had requested—specifically the light switches and exterior finishes—were missing and the standard had been used until we pointed them out during the building process. This oversight was disappointing and concerning to see as no one seemed to notice until we visited the house ourselves during the construction process to see. We understand sometimes things may be missed in the hustle and bustle but these two things were missed at separate times, one after the other and we felt that there was no one paying attention to these things if it happened more than once. It made us worry that our other upgrades may also be overlooked such as the thicker carpet padding we paid extra for. Additionally, the upgraded granite countertops, which we were excited about, came with noticeable chipping, and despite having them serviced, the problem only worsened. We had hoped that the service would correct the issues, but unfortunately, it only made matters worse and there were more noticeable dents. We asked for someone to look at it again and perhaps have it replaced as we invested more for the stone but have yet to receive an update again. To make matters more frustrating, many of the smaller issues, which should have been relatively easy to fix, have proven difficult to address as it categorized as being fixed after a year or something that cannot be addressed by them. For example, our doorbell has issues again despite the fact that it was serviced not long ago, and we are finding it increasingly difficult to get the right assistance for these problems. While a few of the issues have been acknowledged and resolved, there are still many outstanding problems that we would like to have addressed. As a family, we are frustrated that a newly built home, for which we paid a significant amount, came with so many flaws. The ongoing difficulty in getting these issues properly fixed only adds to our disappointment. Ultimately, we feel let down by both the quality of workmanship and the service provided after the purchase. After living the the same house for 56 years, this was my first experience buying a new house. Amy and Dylan made the experience easy and they were responsive to all questions no matter how inane as was everyone working for Pulte. Definitely a 10/10 experience.

Building process went very smooth. Would have been a better process if the sales associate was a little more knowledged on their homes.

Over all not very satisfied

There were issues that needed to be fixed before closing, but some weren't completed. I was assured they would be fixed, and I trusted them. After closing, the issues remained. I reported the problems and submitted requests, but I'm still waiting for someone to address them. I don't trust this builder. They took shortcuts to complete my house, and now I need to fix the problems. I'm frustrated that I can't get anyone to respond to me.

We opted to build a home with Pulte given the limited inventory of available homes on the market. Our friends who built with Pulte 8 years ago warned us not to and we should have listened. The sales and design center process were great. Once construction started is when we had issues. They just slap these homes together with no care. Countless quality issues that we called out during and at close. We were told that the punch list items would be addressed and 2 months later they are not even though we've sent several requests and messages. The issues we continue to find after close are numerous. So fun to find out your heat doesn't work on the first cold day since you moved in. I was pleased that Pulte could accommodate the closing a few days earlier. They went through the whole process a few times with us, and were very accurate

Overall, OK, experience but could have been more better. Felt like we were not engaged well throughout the process. Felt very bad that we didn't even get any photo or gestures on closing. Not sure if everyone had similar experience but few home owners I,noticed had good reception and key handover pictures. Slightly disappointed having missed that.

Home quality is good but selling process can improve.

All questions were answered and addressed especially the final walk-through of the home. Loved the experience. Thank you!

Overall great . Pulte mortgage could have been better in communication that’s the only down side

After evaluating multiple builders Pulte was a stand out. The home designs and overall track record were clearly unmatched. Throughout the building process it was simple, clear, and very easy. Working with the sales, design, and construction teams was awesome and I would highly recommend Pulte to anyone considering a new construction home.

Beyond terrible experience. Pulte just wants to close as many houses as they can as fast as possible. Very poor quality of workmanship. Multiple serious issues including all windows being defective and leaking water that damaged the interior of the house, multiple cracks in the foundation walls leaking into the basement, leaking water from porch to the garage and basement were all discovered in the first week and we are still dealing with repairs after 2 months. The person responsible for warranty claims is a good person and tries to be helpful, but the process of warranty claims and repairs is terrible. There is 150+ houses in the community and only one person to handle all claims which is impossible for one person to keep up. So they become unresponsive and actual repairs take months to even begin. Multiple repairs weren’t addressed the first time and repairmen had to come again as the root cause weren’t addressed. There is no way to track your submitted claims and no way of communicating other than email which again, is very unresponsive. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Pulte to anyone ever in my life and I would strongly suggest anyone considering them to look elsewhere. ... More

Not all available options were mentioned at the beginning, and I only became aware of the limitations with the selection options later, when opting out was no longer possible. Furthermore, I had a very negative experience when I tried to work with a broker, as I was denied that option without any way to opt out. Overall, the sales process was not as transparent as I had expected.

Our home has about 6-10 minor issues that we keep getting promises for repair - but it hasn't happened. We've lived her for almost seven weeks. Home is very nice and generally good construction and features, with the notable exception of the interior paint - it's terrible, apparently sprayed on with no primer, and we will be repainting everything as soon as we can.

The building took as long as they said it would everything was explained to me on my walk though about the house Its a beautiful house and I am very happy here

Love my place, especially location. Was told while originally looking how they use high quality products and make sure everything is installed to perfection. I have paint splatters on my counter tops and floor that was never cleaned up before closing. My floor is starting to lift in places and I only moved in a couple weeks ago. The title company was unprofessional and not good at replying to questions or informing me of steps. The constructions managers, especially Paul and Bryan were amazing!

Extremely poor communication with regards to the "REAL" time frame for completion of the home build. They'll tell you what you want to hear at the time, but that's usually all it was. Telling you what you want to hear. Another very aggravating part of the home building experience was really not knowing precisely what you're building. They give you almost NO information about the exterior look of your home. What I'm referring to is the placement of windows wells, the number of window wells, and the actual look & grading of your lot. We have one window well that is placed on the side of the back wall that is almost 5 feet below the patio level. Rain washes dirt & mulch down into the well. We also had to place a window well cover on this well & there is literally 3 feet of window still exposed & open!!!!!! Never did seem like a normal placement but we were told that it wouldn't have passed the Lemont inspection if it weren't up to code. Finally, after an almost 14 month ordeal, we were just relieved to finally be moving into our new home. We probably should have questioned items like the window well & also a few other issues but I think we were just so worn down by the whole experience that we just wanted to be finished!!!! ... More

Less than 24 hour notice closing was canceled because of sod issue Have yet to be reimbursed for costs associated with cancellation

Not great for the price point! You would be paying 500k or even above but wont get the quality befitting the money.

We have waited for the kitchen doors to be installed we have been waiting since 2 months now still waiting for the doors to be replaced money has been taken service has not been done. We are paying HOA for the property no swimming pool no club house is ready yet but monthly payments are taken by pulte what an ugly situation

All departments did a good job and we are happy with the final outcome.

Entire home appears to have been finished as quickly as possible, with countless interior areas overlooked. Required tons of manual cleanup and touchup afterwards, as Pulte is essentially impossible to get ahold of after closing. Even if you get in touch with them (after several repeated emails), they become unresponsive again and do not address any issues. The other many negative reviews on this site are true. Drywall work was far from perfect, with plenty of visible seams and poorly covered-up mistakes. Windows were scratched and cracked. Cabinets had countless dents and holes. Doors were dinged, dented, and cracked. Buyer beware! ... More
