Not all available options were mentioned at the beginning, and I only became aware of the limitations with the selection options later, when opting out was no longer possible. Furthermore, I had a very negative experience when I tried to work with a broker, as I was denied that option without any way to opt out. Overall, the sales process was not as transparent as I had expected.

Our home has about 6-10 minor issues that we keep getting promises for repair - but it hasn't happened. We've lived her for almost seven weeks. Home is very nice and generally good construction and features, with the notable exception of the interior paint - it's terrible, apparently sprayed on with no primer, and we will be repainting everything as soon as we can.

The building took as long as they said it would everything was explained to me on my walk though about the house Its a beautiful house and I am very happy here

Love my place, especially location. Was told while originally looking how they use high quality products and make sure everything is installed to perfection. I have paint splatters on my counter tops and floor that was never cleaned up before closing. My floor is starting to lift in places and I only moved in a couple weeks ago. The title company was unprofessional and not good at replying to questions or informing me of steps. The constructions managers, especially Paul and Bryan were amazing!

Extremely poor communication with regards to the "REAL" time frame for completion of the home build. They'll tell you what you want to hear at the time, but that's usually all it was. Telling you what you want to hear. Another very aggravating part of the home building experience was really not knowing precisely what you're building. They give you almost NO information about the exterior look of your home. What I'm referring to is the placement of windows wells, the number of window wells, and the actual look & grading of your lot. We have one window well that is placed on the side of the back wall that is almost 5 feet below the patio level. Rain washes dirt & mulch down into the well. We also had to place a window well cover on this well & there is literally 3 feet of window still exposed & open!!!!!! Never did seem like a normal placement but we were told that it wouldn't have passed the Lemont inspection if it weren't up to code. Finally, after an almost 14 month ordeal, we were just relieved to finally be moving into our new home. Less than 24 hour notice closing was canceled because of sod issue Have yet to be reimbursed for costs associated with cancellation

Not great for the price point! You would be paying 500k or even above but wont get the quality befitting the money.

We have waited for the kitchen doors to be installed we have been waiting since 2 months now still waiting for the doors to be replaced money has been taken service has not been done. We are paying HOA for the property no swimming pool no club house is ready yet but monthly payments are taken by pulte what an ugly situation

All departments did a good job and we are happy with the final outcome.

Entire home appears to have been finished as quickly as possible, with countless interior areas overlooked. Required tons of manual cleanup and touchup afterwards, as Pulte is essentially impossible to get ahold of after closing. Even if you get in touch with them (after several repeated emails), they become unresponsive again and do not address any issues. The other many negative reviews on this site are true. Drywall work was far from perfect, with plenty of visible seams and poorly covered-up mistakes. Windows were scratched and cracked. Cabinets had countless dents and holes. Very smooth home purchase experience from start to finish. We were included with every step of the process and were informed with the developments. The home was ready for closing at the tentative date provided without delays. The sales team and construction team are great to work with.

Tyler, project manager, was very informative and responsive. I had a smooth and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

There is a long list of issues, including faulty Procom Ethernet cables, large divots in the lawn that make it unsafe for play, water leakage in the basement and sunroom, and missing items from documented change orders, among other concerns.

Pulte stands by the timeline.

We had a great experience. Everyone was very professional. Lindsay gave us a tour of the model and helped us make the best decisions. Andrea is an awesome designer and helped us navigate through our various options. She could not have been better. Gemma helped us with closing documents. Tyler is the best. We really appreciated his help and guidance.

This is my first time owning a home. The house is big but it’s made as cheaply as possible, super sloppy work. The floor is what’s called a floating floor, so you have your little kids running around or you walk around, the entire floor shakes, kitchen silverware rattles. No attention to details, you will have crooked walls, some spaced are bigger than others and not symmetrical.

The homes are not worth the price. They are made of cheap materials.

Quality of materials and workmanship is just OK. Subpar if you look closely at the details. Once you close, it’s nearly impossible to get them to do anything for the warranty repairs.

This is one of the most basic home I have seen and bought. The only and biggest reason to buy is because of the school district. The workmanship and quality of the home is below-par. Coming from a Toll Bothers house, and the luxuries offered, quality, workmanship and flexibility with the floor plan, Pulte is on the opposite spectrum of this. I would say it's just a bare house even after adding a 100k of upgrades, nothing special about it. The list of shortcomings is pretty big and i wouldn't want to go into those details. One major challenge I am facing right now is the HOA and their bylaws. Pulte never provided the bylaws before purchasing the house, because they know if they would do that, quite a bit of people will either have second thoughts or might not buy because of the ridiculous bylaws. One shinning part in all of this process was the Pulte agent. She made herself available and guided and helped throughout the process. Lori is just amazing. Other than that getting mortgage from Pulte and working with them was a nightmare. The mortgage agent was more busy than the US President would be. It was a challenge to talk to her. The service managers are also very hard to get a hold of. You would think that, part of the process of buying from a national builder would be after sales service, which is barely there. I would say that I dont see myself living in this house after kids graduate from high school or if Toll Brothers start building houses in the same school district. ... More

The excitement of purchasing a new build was dulled by the high costs of any upgrades. The bundling of un-related items was also an issue. For example, we got to choose the color of our front door, but it was bundled with the color of the roof shingles. The house/lot was not completely ready on closing day. In fact, a month later the lot has still not been cleaned up from construction and the landscaping has not been started. The quality of the structure is yet to be determined, but we are disappointed with the quality of the paint that was used in the house. The appliances and fixtures throughout the house are of good quality. The Sales Associate was excellent in helping us through the process and communicating with us. The Customer Service Representative has been responsive to our inquiries. The Construction Manager was very helpful and open to suggestions prior to closing. However, since closing, he/she appears to be overwhelmed and is slow to respond. In conclusion, we know that the buying experience is different for everyone; ours has add its ups and downs. ... More

Overall the whole process was pretty easy and the people were great to work with

I've had several fixed or to be fixed issues with the home thus far. High speed in bathroom fan did not work, honeycomb leak in basement, sump drain had to have rocks removed from it, Master bathroom sink drain does not close, stripped screw on outside garage door handle, water running off side of roof and has not been looked at for almost 4 weeks, poor paint/patch job on outside garage door, crack on outside shower trim. Some of these I've not put tickets in for yet as I can only be around so often

The overall process went well no real issues or concerns items that need attention are being handled
