Pulte home is good but there’s difference between one community to other. Some of the non standard options are giving easily in other pulte community in Indianapolis but not in HuntersRun. It’s big fight with sales team. For example customer don’t have the choice to choose bulbs type, they’ll give only soft white, will not agree to change.

RD Need better toilets. Already replaced one

Working with Pulte was generally very easy. We LOVE our new home. There were just a couple of issues during the build. They were weirdly unwilling to tell us where things like light switches and electrical outlets were going to be located. These are standard floorplans (but don't call them cookie-cutter, that really offends them...) so there has to be a standard electrical diagram, but they refused to let us see it, much less have a copy. Other builders I've worked with have provided such drawings as part of the new home info packet. Secondly, we closed in early spring, and as of this writing we've been here two months, and we still don't have a lawn. We were told we'd have it in 4 - 6 weeks, but that didn't happen. We've seen virtually no activity on lawn installation at any of the dozen or so occupied homes in our subdivision that don't have lawns yet. The two or three spec homes that Pulte built and are trying to sell of course do have lawns. These are annoyances rather than showstoppers, I would build with Pulte again. ... More

We were pleased overall with the building process. Pulte responded in a timely manner to our concerns.

The experience of building a townhome in Retreat on the Monon was ideal! Selection of materials is on site, and very nice quality, even the lower priced materials. The project manager was very approachable and clear on the explanations of the property. Our home was completed 2 months ahead of schedule!!!

Very well defined product and process. That said not a great deal of flexibility in offering and delivery which is fine if that is what you seek. They are good at what they do, and they do it again and again!

Pleased with Pulte Home

The buying from agent and interior designer was excellent. Not thrilled with pulte mortgage. Little details overlooked but big stuff was mostly right in the build itself. Garage walls not quite square (internal).

Tabitha in the beginning made my walkthrough efficient. Austin has made everything after signing easy. I’ve had a few issues, but were resolved within a week.

The experience was pleasant. There was some issues but were able to work thru them.

We enjoyed working with Pulte as they built our home. They were very responsive at the beginning, as we had one sales person for our community of ~40 homes. However, our sales person ended up leaving Pulte and there was a decent gap where questions were hard to get answered due to this. Otherwise the build process was actually very smooth and our house closed on time. We did have a list of items that still needed to be completed post-close. I highly recommend getting these done before you close on your home. It seemed like once we closed, the list of items to be completed were put on the backburner as they focused on other homes that weren't complete yet. We are still waiting on some items to be completed over a month after our closing (which is why I rated responsiveness a 3). Great build, sometimes slow to respond on inquiries. Craftsmanship pretty good overall.

If I have opportunity to buy home again, I will chose pulte home again

Our construction manager Jon was great. Didn’t have the best experience with our sales person Jamie though.

The biggest disappointment has probably been the paint. We closed on October 23rd and we've already seen areas where the paint is chipped, wasn't applied thoroughly or wasn't taken all the way to the corners. While I understand it's not high quality paint, I personally expected a better paint for the sizable investment we made with Pulte. We will now have to hire someone to fix these issues which we felt should have been done in the first place. I would also add we have a few areas in the floors that have been pushed up. Overall we are happy with the home. Purchased mainly because of the location. Have purchased Pulte homes before in other states and were surprised at the difference. As I said, overall happy but there is room for improvement.

Our Field Manager, Bill, was VERY GOOD. He made the experience less worrisome than I expected. He answered questions within a day. He took care of issues immediately. I would give him a 5 out of 5

My garage floor, as I've learned, was poured quickly and worked just as quickly as it was drying too fast. The office staff that came out clearly had no idea about concrete other than what they learned in training class, but assured me it was normal for it to look as strange as it does. There are chips and small holes in it as well, but nobody followed up after they came out to placate me in person. Every thing that needs attention is at their discretion under the "Built to Last" slogan, meaning they'll decide what is or isn't under warranty at their discretion. When someone does come out, it's as if someone is doing us a favor. We've lived in the home for less than 90 days. ... More

We really enjoyed our home building process with Pulte! We had to stay on top of getting the minor things fixed and prioritized along the way, but we are super happy with the end result. Would definitely recommend this community to others.

Everyone thru out the home buying process has been wonderful.

I worked with a very fantastic sames rep, Her customer service and engagement is top notch. However, I did not have an all pleasing experience with the loan application process and approval. Some of the documents requested are unnecessary and ridiculous to the extent of requesting the bank statement of someone that made a zelle payment of $40 into my account, saying they needed it to confirm if the amont left the senders account, isn't that ridiculous? I was very disappointed such document was requested because its an intrusion into another party's privacy, someone that has no business in the loan and house buying process.
