My sales rep, Jason, was wonderful to work with during the process. During the build though sometimes my house would sit for a couple of months with no work done. Then Andy and Logan took over as field managers and things started to happen quickly finally. All three of these people were great to deal with and on top of things. Once I got into my new house though a few issues came up and it takes weeks for any responses or any one to come out to do repairs. This is the third home we have built and Pulte by far has been the worst experience of all three. What makes this so surprising is that Pulte has been the most expensive home we have ever built as well. It started off great with our original sales rep. We picked our design and colors and materials. Multiple items were unavailable but we understand that the timing of this was also during Covid. The construction manager was available and responded quickly but the overall project was drawn out over 10 months. They left the house filthy, especially the floors. Expect to mop them several times to get the dry wall dust off.

Overall, horrible build process and experience that resulted in an extremely overpriced and low quality home for the price point. Zero responsibility taken by Pulte for a build that went well beyond the contractual completion date with no legitimate reason other than mismanagement, which resulted in thousands of dollars in additional cost to us and no recourse or consideration from Pulte. I am extremely disappointed with Pulte Homes. I have see a lot of homes they have built in Carmel in the 90’s, and That’s the reason I choose them. Our sales rep, Ryan, was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. However, it was clear that Pulte is stretching its staff too far based on the lack of responsiveness from the building crew. We have also had numerous issues crop up after move in and it has been very difficult to get a hold of the proper party to place a ticket for these issues. The build manager was Jackson and he’s knowledgeable , enthusiastic, and prompt. If you get him you’ll be in good hands. The build progressed at a good pace. We hired our own inspector and he caught a couple of things, but nothing major. The flaws were rectified and we love our home!

Did lot of follow up before closing . Still things are pending for fix which was committed on email to be fixed by field manager . Still it’s open . I never recommend anyone . Not sure it’s Pulte management fault or field manager fault or contract fault . No one aware about what they have done what they have to look . Really very very bad experience

He was attentive and responsive to issues that were beyond anyone’s control as well as cares deeply about delivering a 100% completed home. The building process ran into delays (Covid) that were frustrating but not necessarily Pulte’s fault. In the end, our construction manager, Jen, worked so hard to make sure things were done before we closed. She continues to work hard on some small issues that have come up after close and she is committed to making sure our house is perfect.

Be prepared to wait well past expected closing date. Be prepared to deal with multiple problems and wait for items to be repaired/completed. Be prepared to deal with multiple construction managers with only the last one knowing what he is doing. Most recent construction manager is trying very hard to make everything right but can only do so much. The home building process was stressful and delayed. Not all the delays were due to labor and supply shortages. Some of them were due to an inexperienced construction manager and trades that made mistakes. The price of the house was high compared to what you could get 5-10 years ago. The quality of the build was medium-high. No major issues, but some components were not done to my satisfaction and I plan to replace certain things within a year or two. We have been disappointed with the home buying process and workmanship in our home. We were hoping to be excited to take possession and that did not happen. Many times our concerns were dismissed. No urgency to get things corrected. For example, our doors on the lower level will not close, at all. The carpet in one area does not meet the baseboard which leaves a gap.
