For the most part the workmanship and responsiveness to issues has been pretty good. Seems like the materials used could be a higher grade, like the mirrors, faucets and towel bars. Be sure to be careful as to what lot and model you and both of your neighbors choose. In Fishers at the Remington we have our neighbor with a large open covered patio on the northwest corner of their house and our master bedroom is on the southwest corner of our house. So any noise comes straight to our bedroom. Also, the top soil was removed before the houses were built so the yard is nothing but rocks of all sizes, concrete, metal and all kinds of building items. It is nearly impossible to get anything but weeds to grow along the side and back of the house. This was a farm previously so the soil should have been excellent. There was also a mix up on the water softener/reverse osmosis system. I take half the blame because I didn't notice it on the specs but no house should be built in Indiana and not have a water softener or at least the hookup for one. We wouldn't want a reverse osmosis system with a farmhouse sink. The cleaning crew could have done a much better job throughout the house. The floor guy had to come back out because of some spots in various places in the house. He ended up using acetone to remove them. I had to go around every inch of the carpet along the hard woods with a hammer and mash down the spikes. Pulte Homes has been very responsive to all of our concerns. The only complaint I have is our siding. Have asked for three weeks now to have someone look at a concern we have with some of our siding. Our warranty person has sent a few requests to the siding person but have not heard from them after three weeks. Everyone else has been quick to respond and contact us. This lack of communication on the contacts part for the siding is concerning for us.

Overall, a good experience. House was done quickly, most issues addressed in timely manner. Pulte Mortgage process was cumbersome, took a long time. Some included features were dated and very basic, designed to make you feel the need to upgrade. But overall we have been mostly pleased and love our new home.

Overall good, but can be better on communication and response on issies raised during construction. Build quality need to be improved on details. We are still waiting on unfinished things after closing for more than a month.

My main concern was water in the basement during construction. The grading was not fully finished until 1-2 wks before closing and water almost was accumulated in the basement after snow or rain. We raised our concern multiple times and got various excuses.

It was very slow to start but once the new construction Manager Andy came on things got a lot better. Andy did a great job communicating and meeting our needs. I have heard from others in my new community how Andy has made a huge difference in getting their homes completed.

Make sure to get all problems resolved before closing/ or filling out the survey. You will get on the “we will get to it when we get to it” list

We love our new Pulte home.

The experience has been more of adventure than business. It was smooth with the builder.

Build time was 4-4 1/2 months. Some mistakes were made but were immediately address. Size and quality of the home, compared to other builders is a better value. Mike our contact was hard working and very responsive.

Very responsive team but the sales rep was overbearing and unclear often. The PM was nice and easy to work with. The main issue is workmanship. They subcontract everything out and don’t even oversee the work. Very shoddy and even when we did the post blue tape walkthrough they ignored 50% of it. They’ll blame the buyer for not “catching it” but in reality they just ignored it to save cost/time.

There is always room for improvements on finishing.

Overall the building experience was positive, they finished the home in the time they promised, quality of the build was good, some small details that were fixed. In summary my experience has been positive.

Follow up to correct issues after closing is slow. Would at least appreciate a periodic phone call or email status report on outstanding items. Has been >2 months since reported by home owner...a growing concern.

The front office personnel was rarely in office. I called Pulte to schedule time to visit the model home and was finally able to speak with a rep. The first rep took a first glance and assumed we couldn’t afford our home. Judged us almost immediately. It went downhill with this guy. However Maitlyn was a breath of fresh air. She answered all questions and very outgoing. They say if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all. I’ll say Pulte Finance is abysmal. That’s putting it lightly. We moved recently to a new home built by Pulte. The house is fully functional, but Pulte could have done a much better job on details...there are too many scratches on the walls and doors, some unfinished parts etc. We tried to be very careful at the final inspection and we still missed many small details. Not enough towel supports in bathrooms, cheap faucets and shower...for the money we paid, we would have expected a better quality of work but when you build 20 houses in the same community and the same time, of course we are not paying attention to the details that are very important for customers. ... Overall the house is built well. I would encourage anyone to be picky and don’t let things slide just because it’s a new house. The finish work was just ok. And the attention to details was something to improve on. I would use them again with a more diligent approval.

Great customer service and resolve the issue quickly. Exterior quality is fabulous.
