Before I go into the build process, I want to call out Shandra for being a great selling agent. She helped us along the way and was an advocate for us from the start. We began with one project manager, Brandon, who was excellent. He made me feel comfortable and in good hands from our first virtual meeting. Every week he would send us emails with pictures, letting us know what was accomplished and what the plan for the next week was. I’ve built with Pulte before (in Tennessee) and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Well. The Indianapolis area Pulte experience couldn’t have been more different. The framing/structure of the home is sturdy and well done, thankfully. My nitpicky, former custom builder father inspected that. But the finishes and sloppy craftsmanship is unacceptable. Building experience was excellent. Our building manager was great and kept in constant contact. Problems started once we moved in. We noticed a long list of issues and attempted to get the pertinent ones fixed and wait on the cosmetic. The Customer Care Manager is polite, but is difficult to get any follow up and zero results. It took over 2 weeks to get in touch with our Customer Service Manager who advised that the issues should have been handled by builder and we would have to wait until 11 month walk thru to get majority addressed. Would not buy another Pulte home

Superficially a beautiful home. Several issues with workmanship and things that were left undone at time of move in. Pulte representatives are good at sales and telling you the things you want to hear - but there is horrible, to no, follow up whatsoever. The communication between Pulte representatives, their vendors, and the customer are terrible. I would not purchase another Pulte home.

Quality of Workmanship, just average! Responsiveness to issue, poor be ready t wait couple of months to have ur issues fixed!! Celebration day do not be overwhelmed everything looks pretty in ur new home, inspect the house thoroughly every nook and corner!!! For that matter if u have washer/dryer make it a point to run a full cycle, do not believe installs for granted, Granite counter tops inspect every corner run ur fingers....Dont say Dont buy, but pay attention to detail if u want peacefu move in....Good Luck

Rushed to sell the house with broken window and missing features

Builders were in a rush to sell the house. There was a broken window which they were aware of however did not fix. In addition contract had a ring door bell included. They refused to push the closing date regardless of these features not being present. It has been 2 months post closing and both things have not been fixed. Have reached out to them many times however it still has not been addressed. Definitely a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone

A lot of the angle cuts on boards in the roof structure were very poor. A lot of drywall screws were sunk to deep. They don’t tie all the corners together structurally resulting in cracks in more than 3/4 of the corners. Doors not hung properly allowing for visibility from outside a room.Defective patio door that they didn’t want to deal and passed it on to warranty which still hasn’t been fixed. Great Floor Plan, Lack of Quality Workmanship

Location and floor plan were the draw for our Pulte home purchase. After we put money down on the lot we heard throughout the design process they are a production builder. That is for sure. From limited design selections if you do not want gray to the half bath fan that never shuts off to a light switch placed in the middle of a wall forcing you to stretch to turn on, thoughtful living was not executed. Overall we can walk through our home which is expensive and see details that do not match the price we paid.

We had a terrible buying experience. Starting from the sales consultant Jodee, it was always chaotic and the team slacked in responding quickly and accurately to our questions. It was almost that we were managing the project. They moved our deadlines quite a few times and delayed our appliances by over three weeks. And, the punch out items were incomplete but they still forced us to close on the house to meet their monthly sales quotas.

This is the third home we have built and Pulte by far has been the worst experience of all three. What makes this so surprising is that Pulte has been the most expensive home we have ever built as well. It started off great with our original sales rep. This has been the worst experience that I have had with any builder. The site manager is overwork and I feel for him and his upper management team don’t care they just want the house close with a lot of open issues that are not done. A lot of people have open issues in my development that are still open and it’s taking them for ever to get it fix.

The model home is lovely and once you're in you are in. What you actually end up with as a finished product is a generally nice home, but for the money you pay, the lack of quality control and the level of workmanship is appalling. We had closing on 1st week of November 2021 until now we requested to install new shower glass door & rods in the bathroom, Kitchen Crown which haven’t installed even single time since closing. In the house many of things left to fix which we are mentioned in many times in emails to field manager but I haven’t got response back from him. Those issues we showed to field manager on closing day as well. I have no idea why he don’t concentrate on those issues. He just solved 1-2 issues only in 5 work orders he created. We paid for all this work then also. We are unsatisfied with his work.

The quality of material used is poor. The field manager is not responsive . Delay simple fixes for long. Warranty is an issue , no quick resolution of issues . It takes month to fix an issue. Not good experience had so many hopes with Pulte but they have shattered . Dissatisfied home buyer. My SoD and tree which was dead before closing has not been even after 2 month .

Overall experience is very bad with my new house

The build quality is not that great. LVP (vinyl plank) flooring was popped up everywhere within the house and it is making noise everywhere. Within one week we see the windows are leaking because of rain. The workers didn't finished it properly and Builder is not even worried about checking that as a priority Drywall finishing is aweful.. We see lot of gaps between the wall and floor. I assume the builder is offering accommodation to lots of bugs and insects. Looks like my three year old caulked and painted the exterior. It was painted under 30 F and is peeling and cracked. It was noted during closing in April and still not fixed. Nail pops are expected but not to this degree.
