great builder to work with

Pulte has the “commodity building experience” down pretty. They don’t stand out in quality but you can trust them to get the job done within the estimated timeline/cost. The communication was average as is the build quality. If you don’t expect too much, you will be happy with the results

We like the location and the space of homes on lots. We were disappointed with lack of flexibility to change material. For example, we wanted the room off the kitchen (that was suggested for an office) to be a butler’s pantry. Pulte would not do this. We asked to leave the room so that we could make it what we want. Their response was no. Therefore, we have paid more money to have cabinets made and we are going to dispose of the cabinet and countertops that was installed. What a sinful waste of money and resources. There was only one option for the roof and limited (very similar to every other house in the neighborhood) color palette choices. Overall experience was great. Project Manager was attentive and professional. He worked very hard to meet and in some cases, exceed our expectations. House was completed on schedule with minor punch list items.

How easy and professional and prompt it was dealing with our building manager John S. He was always ready and willing to answer any questions or text we had.

The experience was stressful. The quality is average. Walls seem thin and it sounds like a herd of cattle when my children play upstairs and I’m downstairs despite the fact I have pretty laid back kids compared to others. All the doors were dinged up you when we moved in and no wood filler and paint can correct them even though that’s what they’ve done over and over. Whatever you do, do not upgrade your color of paint for the entire house, save that two grand and hire a painter to come paint your entire house with a satin paint after. They will only use flat paint and our house is a constant scratched up mess. The magic eraser is my best friend. It’s going to be far from perfect, so to have that in your mind will help. Not for the detail oriented like myself. At the end of the day I love my house I just would’ve rather known what to expect on some of these things but you living you learn. I hope if I ever have a friend build I can help them navigate the process to know what to spend money on and what to do after the fact. It’s very hard when you’re spending your hard earned money on things and you’re let down. They have a warranty company and so far we’ve called them five times and have never gotten a response. We had to go above the gal that is in charge of it and we got an answer to a couple questions but since then we’ve gone back to calling her and we get no response. It’s absolutely unprofessional and I’m just so over everything that I don’t even have it in me to worry about it the home issues. I have a life to live work to do and three kids to take care of. This was our first time building a new home and I feel like Pulte did a great job making sure we understood time lines and expectations.

Please provide more choices for upgrade selections.

Overall a great experience building with Pulte homes. They made it easy & stress free.

The sales people were very pushy, and it you would see costs creep up unless you look at everything in detail. They try to push the other Pulte services on you. The house however is good quality, but some of the things seem old style.

The experience has been more of adventure than business. It was smooth with the builder.

I was impressed during the build by the responsiveness to fix things when things didn’t go quite right. Stuff always happens during a build but it is how it’s handled and the honesty that concerns me the most. Each instance was handled the right way the first time. I was impressed.

I have built 3 homes and this was, by far, the most seamless experience. Would definitely build with Pulte again.

There was some hiccups because of COVID-19, otherwise everything was fine

I really enjoyed how Pulte walkted me through the entire process as a first time home builder. From the lady at the model home to the lead contractor it was a pleasure. Thank you !

After paying so much, this is not what we expect to get, quality of everything lkke dry wall, boards, shelves, bathroom not up to the mark. After a month only I am seeing all the ptch work coming out, drywall getting scuffed just with the touch of anything. Nails are coming out from the doors and shelves.Got defective gas init, at the time of closing, field manager said he gonna replace it but after that we are just doing follow ups. Not happy at all

We love our new home! I would recommend Pulte add color options for neighborhoods as that’s causing a huge issue with our large neighborhood. Also it would be great if you could adjust the height of toilet and towel holders for the adjustments people chooses with toilets and counters. It’s a common complaint! Thank you! Traci

Build time was 4-4 1/2 months. Some mistakes were made but were immediately address. Size and quality of the home, compared to other builders is a better value. Mike our contact was hard working and very responsive.

House was rushed and lots of mistakes just ignored because they use different contractors. I still have tape on my walls and cabinets that was suppose to be taken care of before moving in. I keep finding issues daily since moving in a month ago. They are going to need to redo my downstairs flooring it’s that bad! The people you work with are super nice but they are overworked and can’t provide the customer service and project management required!

Pulte home is good but there’s difference between one community to other. Some of the non standard options are giving easily in other pulte community in Indianapolis but not in HuntersRun. It’s big fight with sales team. For example customer don’t have the choice to choose bulbs type, they’ll give only soft white, will not agree to change.
