Fairly easy process. I've always heard that building a house was a nightmare. This was not my experience. Any issues that came up were addressed in a timely manner. Communication was clear.....it may take a day or two to hear back on something....but this crew is slammed busy so that didn't bother me. Finding a lot of cosmetic drywall issues now that I'm living in the house, but will get these handled at my 1 yr inspection. Other minor issues have been addressed in a timely manner. My advice is to visit often and inspect even more. Catch things as early as you can to avoid any major problems down the road. Fingers crossed that nothing MAJOR occurrs after my warranty is up. My sales person I worked with was GREAT. She went above and beyond to help me with issues that she normally would not be associated with. Can not say enough good things about Nicole. Mike was also nice to work with. He took care of several things I wanted done before closing. It was nice to have people that was willing to help me since I lived out of state during construction of my home.

Deciding to build our retirement home we toured many neighborhoods to not only choose a great location, but also helped us zero in on the builder choice. Seeing the quality of planning with Pulte neighborhoods, prompted us to stop at the model home to work through an initial home planning process with Matt at Blue Ridge Creek. From that moment on, we were "catered to" as new home builders, working through the many questions to be answered and decisions to be made. Then being introduced to Nick our Construction Manager, who initially walked us through the timetable and various decision timelines, and visually kept us updated on progress with weekly emails including pictures of our build process. This was exgtremely helpful since we were from out of town with only occasional visits to the site. The finalization and closing process with Aaron and the Pulte Mortgage group and closing team also went smoothly. My project manager had way too many homes. It was evident in the responsiveness and ability to keep up with issues. There were a few hiccups along the way that I had to stay on top off, but the painters are a disaster. It was ridiculous what was missed and how many times they had to come back. By the time we closed, I basically just gave up. I’m also disappointed that the ceiling/attic isn’t strong enough to support any storage. I would like to attach some indoor gym equipment for kids to the walls and ceiling, but Im scared the roof would fall down..even though I was able to put something similar in my last house without issues. Marc was great as a site manager. He was always ready with answers to our questions, and went above and beyond for us during the build process.

I had a wonderful experience with Pulte homes. From Kurt to Doug, I always knew if I had a question, they would have an answer. The neighborhood is very nice and peaceful as well!

Very responsive team but the sales rep was overbearing and unclear often. The PM was nice and easy to work with. The main issue is workmanship. They subcontract everything out and don’t even oversee the work. Very shoddy and even when we did the post blue tape walkthrough they ignored 50% of it. They’ll blame the buyer for not “catching it” but in reality they just ignored it to save cost/time.

The service from beginning to end was excellence. We are so happy with our new home!!!!!

This is our second build in the neighborhood. We would not have built again if we did not think Pulte could build a great home!

There is always room for improvements on finishing.

Very disappointed in quality of workmanship. Also qualify of some materials questionable. Great example. We have been in the house less than 2 months and already replacing all the main level flooring. Cheap quality material and noticed many blemishes that were not addressed at installation. Even worse, as I was removing the flooring, there was little evidence that any dirt and debris was cleaned up before the flooring was installed.

Things were good until the end. Since I closed I have had a terrible time trying to get issues resolved. The little attention to detail is missing. There are lots of little mistakes. For example, paint spills and splatters, lumps of plaster, scratches. Several of the items marked during the final walk through were never fixed. They planted trees then turned off the irrigation so now all 5 are half dead. They won't replace because there are still a few green branches. I can't get anyone to respond to my emails. I asked someone to come out and check the issues that I have and I get no response. I like the house overall, but the little attention to detail is missing. I hope that big issues don't show up in a few years. ... More

While we love our home and our field manager- the outsourced help was the problem during the build and many times things were fixed fast and not right. We are still waiting on a punch list of about 10 items 2 months later, with no end in sight. If we ever build again, it won’t be with Pulte

Customer service was outstanding, as well as all the people at Pulte Mortgage.

When you are laying out the electrical outlet, you should request one outlet next to the fiber (internet source) to inside the house or you will need create one or use an extension cord.

This is my first new home build. I have owned before, but never built. The Pulte team was courteous, professional and always communicated well.

Building Team was very good and professional. Gave me update on every stage of building till closing, was carried along all through the process.

Never again should you let your house close before the builder has completed each and everything without anything pending. Even something as little as putting a nail in the wall. Because once your home is closed, forget about getting those items done. The project manager will not respond to any emails or calls. My yard was graded and seeded with lawn but had significant amount of concrete rocks and stones. In fact there were more rocks then mud. Upon raising up the issue with the Project Manager- he said this is how they do all the yards, which is a lie- as I had seen other Homes done in my neighborhood and saw them bring fresh mud in and removing the stone filled mud while grading. If you settle for their response and give you stone filled mud- good lick watering your lawn- yard will never hold water for long, will have water everyday to keep the lawn alive. Houses are extremely poorly insulated- meaning you can hear thing said any room if you are sitting in a living room. My paid upgrade for basement bathroom rough in was wrongly measured and placed 4” off then actual location. I regretfully settled and agreed to make the project managers life easy as it would involve cutting concrete. Now with them not responding, I wish I had not settled and make them do it the way it was suppose to. The sump pump in basement was installed 90ft away from its actual location as shown in the building print. Meaning if you have unfinished basement, they will put anything anywhere according to their convenience and whatever makes it cheaper for them. You must stick to the drawings and have them move any wrongly placed items. Now the list is long so I must stop here and end the review. But Do not CLOSE IF YOUR HOUSE IS NOT DONE TO YIUR LIKING. Major repair that needed done (I caught it) after closing. Extremely frustrating and stressful to deal with after moving in. Was not fixed correctly the first time and I've been dealing with it ever since. Multiple promises to fix several items right after closing have not been done months later. Warranty submissions go unresponded to for months (in talking with some neighbors, it's taken more than a year for some fixes). I'm lucky not to have some plumbing/leaking issues that I've heard several have had throughout the neighborhood (or at least they're undiscovered as of yet). Do your research and speak to existing homeowners before you build. Be prepared to not close on your house until they fix major issues, or they might never get fixed (or you will have to pay for a repair on your NEW home). ... More
