Looks like my three year old caulked and painted the exterior. It was painted under 30 F and is peeling and cracked. It was noted during closing in April and still not fixed. Nail pops are expected but not to this degree.

WHEN THEY DO THINGS LIKE FRAME A WALL IN THE WRONG PLACE, YOU WILL BE TOLD IT IS "BUILT ACCORDING TO THE PLAN", EVEN THOUGH THE PLAN CLEARLY SHOWS IT IS NOT BUILT TO PLAN.

I feel builder is compromising on so many factors like quality, materials,workers, no prior inspection of work being done by contractors, outdated options to buyers , no follow ups on pending works even after buyer multiple follow ups , too many problems within a month after moving, I felt like I would never go with pulte.

This was our first build experience and most likely won't build again. Definitely soured our experience, especially paying around $700,000. They only make sure the building itself finishes. You have to manage all the details, the things that you will see day in and day out. Certain things that were suppose to be done before closing are still yet to be done. Submitted warranty requests online two weeks ago and no one has reached out to me yet. Like they say, once you closed you won't hear from them again!

Horrible experience throughout the construction. I found many time wrong happening and even after telling about that, those were not addressed. Lack of communication all the time. Quality doesn’t look good. Many problems found during home walk and they still pending and keep finding problem, including major issues as well.

Bad Workmanship and Response slowly

During closing, we found quite a few issues: floor edges broken and pop up, stain on the quartz top of pantry, two windows are broken, lawn is not done yet. Now there has been one and half month after closing, some issues has not be solved yet. The floor has been installed again but there are still several pieces having issues, broken windows are still there..

If you buy a Pulte home you will hear a lot of “ I am sorry”... and no action. For example, they painted the entire inside of the house the wrong color ...they were “sorry” after we pointed out the mistake. They installed the wrong garage door in March and we pointed the mistake out in March...The correct door was not ordered until June 3!! They are “sorry”....They were suppose to put brick around the front door but put siding....We pointed out the mistake...after arguing about it, they said “sorry” and corrected it....and the list goes on.!! They are sorry that they can’t get problems ...

Bad experience with construction managers, they are not trustworthy

I found a lot of issues after I signed up, I am paying for a new product, and I found out that the backyard door and garage door have a lot of issues, which I requested a replacement, it looks like those construction managers want to save money for their company, also they ignored me many times when I asked for any repair. I don't recommend to build with pulte homes honestly.

Really not happy with the awful conditions of the front and the back yards of my new build house since we closed in March . We still don’t have any sods in front and any seeds in the back, landscaping never got done for 2 months since we closed. The front yard is still full of mud, trash, black plastic bags, water retainer bag, plastic bottle full of pee, big rocks, gravels and dirts from when the house was being built!! We’ve been told by the construction manager that it will get cleaned and fixed but nothing actually got done!! Being a first time home buyer, I will definitely learn a lot ...

Had a horrible experience from the point of closing. Lot of pending issues on the closing day - no communication/update on when those pending issues will be addressed. I understand the supply chain issues, but even the communication on acknowledging open issues has been horrible. Only grace is the support team who at least are now communicating once in a while when the update comes. Worst of all - I was asked to submit review/survey on individuals I have worked with during buying/construction/mortgage etc. And my comments were as it is shared with the individual and now, I am getting ...

Great home, but misleading sales approach.

During the sales process, one of my biggest concerns was the train tracks behind the home that I eventually purchased. When I inquired about this, the lead sales rep and the other sales associates told me that it's a utility line and that trains seldomly passed by. They mentioned it was a few times per week and generally during the day. I've now spent close to two months in this house and the train passes by several times per day and blares its horn. Builder said he would provide something, even in email, and eventually did nothing. The issue was brought to the builder's attention 6weeks before closing. Shortly before closing I was told it would not be done. Cost to me to fix: about $30,000.

Pulte has left me with empty promises. It is now been 40 days since I closed on my home and I still have blue tape in my house, crack in my bathtub, scratches on hardwood, kitchen cabinets not complete. I warn you to not close until the home is to your satisfaction.

Just about everything in this home was never done correctly the first time. Not to mention I’ve been in my home two months and warranty repairs need to be done. Also, it’s mind boggling that they don’t have a sense of quality control to ensure things are done correctly the first time or in a timely manner. Excuse after excuse has left me in an incomplete home for two months and warranty repairs for leaks and tnings falling apart!

Incomplete House and Lack to no communication

Second house with Pulte. Totally different experience this time. We knew there would be delays due to worker shortage and supplies. Our house did get delayed and we were ok with with. There is a total lack of communication on everything. We closed with our house not being complete. We have a work order to finish the house. It has been 8 weeks and we have had a couple things done. But now Pulte has stopped with completing our house.

Would not build with Pulte again. Many of the subcontractors did poor quality work and much of it had to be done redone several times. Significant issues remain 30 days after closing.

Never again should you let your house close before the builder has completed each and everything without anything pending. Even something as little as putting a nail in the wall. Because once your home is closed, forget about getting those items done. The project manager will not respond to any emails or calls. My yard was graded and seeded with lawn but had significant amount of concrete rocks and stones. In fact there were more rocks then mud. 10% of non-refundable earnest money required. Had to complain numerous times during the building process on many issues to get it fixed. Kept asking good feedback on the survey both construction and mortgage process. The construction manager stopped responding right after the survey was completed even though there are some items that still need to be fixed. I am not going to recommend Pulte homes to my friends.

I decided to sign an agreement with Pulte Homes to buy my new home after inspecting the home. I was fascinated by the offer of covering the closing cost which was said by the Sales consultant and I was informed i would only be paying the 5% down payment which was $19700.
