I found building with Pulte extremely awful and upsetting. Pulte did not care about customer satisfaction. They FORCED me to close mid December without installing most of my kitchen appliances because they wanted the closing to show on 2021 books. They made me feel like just a number and really no customer satisfaction considered. As of February 1, I am still waiting for them to complete many items that were due to be done before closing. They have my money now so who knows when or if work will be done. I would never build with Pulte again because they just want to build the most homes with ...

Poor communication and lack of transparency

From the sales team, field manager, to mortgage, the whole experience was bad. Through the long and delayed process, we had 2 sales people, 3 field managers, and 2 loan officers. Communication within the pulte team is non-existent and communication with the customer is equally as bad. Utility location is inefficient and materials used to build are cheap. I do not recommend Pulte

Terrible service, slow response, missing details, non existent project manager for most of build

This was a horrific experience. It took over a month after closing to get a dishwasher. We still do not have the correct refrigerator. Sales person Kurt was great! Last of 4 project managers tried to play recovery from the failure of the 3 previous non-existent ones. Banking and finance through Pulte move at a snails pace. Insurance was a rip off through Pulte and wasn’t enough to cover the house. This still has to be changed! It was a nightmare. I can’t rate less than 1 star without ignoring the email.

Pulte's response to issues that have come up since we moved in has been extremely disappointing. They do not follow up with you. The warranty department doesn't respond in a timely manner. I have water running into our home every time it rains. This has gone on for 3 weeks. No one has come out to repair it. Construction bins constantly have trash and garbage spilling onto the ground. This is vey unprofessional. I've told our friends we have made a mistake building with Pulte. They do not keep their promises after the closing. We've built several homes and this is the worst experience we ever ...

Terrible, construction was delayed and Pulte won’t confirm due date to protect themselves. Still no repair on the defects that was pointed out during the walk through inspection. Overall, the delay that Pulte caused has caused my interest rate to go up.

We went with Pulte because my parents had built with them years ago and had a phenomenal experience and we believe that the quality compared to other builders was better. Highly priced for a low quality home

My bathroom clogged within 2 days of move in. When I requested for checking that, I was informed that it was clogged due to use of toilet paper. My concern if you cannot use toilet paper in toilet what else can I use. Builder doesn’t show any responsibility in fixing the issues at all. Overly priced home. The sales office will mislead you. For example, I paid for pull out drawers in the lower kitchen cabinets. There are 3 cabinets. They only will put drawers in 2 of them - When I asked they said - Oh, that is the way we do it. We don't put them in the third one. I paid for soft closing cabinet doors. They didn't tell me that it was only SOME cabinets, not all. They painted the inside the wrong color and then wanted to repaint the entire inside after I moved in. While the salesperson (David) and Erin (Project Manager) were both terrific, the overall experience in building a Pulte home was anything but. They are the definition of a tract builder that slaps up the houses in record time...workmanship is atrocious. Bad Experience after Pre-Drywall Meeting

We chose to build with Pulte because we had friends with a good experience and had never heard anything bad. However, based on this experience I can not recommend them. The process was very smooth up until we got to our pre-drywall meeting. Then things took a turn towards awful. Based on the recent reviews in my area that seems to be common. Our construction manager jimmy told us from the beginning that he has a family to go home to so no calls or emails to him on his days off because he doesn't care much about his job. Pulte does not seem to care about their customers once the contract is signed and they REALLY don’t seem to care after the sale of the home is complete. I understand that there have been unforseeable delays due to shipping issues and labor shortages. This was a very disappointed experience and unfortunately with all my 5 sales/purchase with Pulte. Quality, attention to details, customer service & delivery. All my clients were frustrated & there was NO help from any of the management. Including a very rude response from one of them. I can’t tell how dissatisfied I was as a customer and professional. It is my opinion that they are more focused on quantity over quality. The b/s they tell you up front about working with you on your build and they are focused on quality and craftsmanship and will work with you is just that b/s! Once you move in the service department is not quick to get your house fixed in a timely manor. I had a poor build and service experience as most of my neighbors had.
