I had great expectations for Pulte when I signed the purchase agreement. The property is in an affluent neighborhood and I paid premium dollars for it. My experience leading up to signing the purchase agreement was great. Their mortgage team was also great. This wasn't my first new construction. My last was several years ago with a builder in a similar area. My overall experience back then was way better than my current experience with Pulte. There were continued delays and at closing the house was not complete. As Pulte was trying to meet quarter end they said they would address the open items after close, but after close completely silent. This is the third house that I’ve built and by far the worst.

This was a very disappointed experience and unfortunately with all my 5 sales/purchase with Pulte. Quality, attention to details, customer service & delivery. All my clients were frustrated & there was NO help from any of the management. Including a very rude response from one of them. I can’t tell how dissatisfied I was as a customer and professional. I would not recommend Pulte.

Totally irresponsible delivery, so many things are missing or not done properly. Not at all satisfied with the quality and delivery of house. So many things in list that are not done correctly not even Able to keep track. I was expecting high standards from Pulte but none of them met. I have worked 20 house or more to figure out the quality issues before closing but they rushed the closing and with out fixing all the issues. NOT AT ALL SATISFIED even basic things not done correctly. They did pilot of new and inexperienced field manager with my house that's why the house was in disarray. ...

Terrible service, slow response, missing details, non existent project manager for most of build

This was a horrific experience. It took over a month after closing to get a dishwasher. We still do not have the correct refrigerator. Sales person Kurt was great! Last of 4 project managers tried to play recovery from the failure of the 3 previous non-existent ones. Banking and finance through Pulte move at a snails pace. Insurance was a rip off through Pulte and wasn’t enough to cover the house. This still has to be changed! It was a nightmare. I can’t rate less than 1 star without ignoring the email.

We’re forced to close on unfinished home with a promise that everything will be taken care. But was never finished. Initially kept sending people to fix stuff and then stopped responding and when asked for upper management. Sales agent said she is not going to give upper management contact. She said she is not authorized to give upper management contact. Project manager always kept making excuses and telling us that he is going to fix everything. It is my opinion that they are more focused on quantity over quality. The b/s they tell you up front about working with you on your build and they are focused on quality and craftsmanship and will work with you is just that b/s! Once you move in the service department is not quick to get your house fixed in a timely manor. I had a poor build and service experience as most of my neighbors had.

Pulte's response to issues that have come up since we moved in has been extremely disappointing. They do not follow up with you. The warranty department doesn't respond in a timely manner. I have water running into our home every time it rains. This has gone on for 3 weeks. No one has come out to repair it. Construction bins constantly have trash and garbage spilling onto the ground. This is vey unprofessional. I've told our friends we have made a mistake building with Pulte. They do not keep their promises after the closing. My bathroom clogged within 2 days of move in. When I requested for checking that, I was informed that it was clogged due to use of toilet paper. My concern if you cannot use toilet paper in toilet what else can I use. Builder doesn’t show any responsibility in fixing the issues at all. Overly priced home. Builder charge differently for upgrades for each model making low end homes come out be expensive than it is worth. The sales office will mislead you. For example, I paid for pull out drawers in the lower kitchen cabinets. There are 3 cabinets. They only will put drawers in 2 of them - When I asked they said - Oh, that is the way we do it. We don't put them in the third one. I paid for soft closing cabinet doors. They didn't tell me that it was only SOME cabinets, not all. They painted the inside the wrong color and then wanted to repaint the entire inside after I moved in. I spent $8k+ to upgrade all the cabinets to maple solid wood. However, it turns out they gave me laminate cabinets. Tried to contact customer. Never got any reply. Stay away!!!

While the salesperson (David) and Erin (Project Manager) were both terrific, the overall experience in building a Pulte home was anything but. They are the definition of a tract builder that slaps up the houses in record time...workmanship is atrocious. But, the fact that we were told just a few days before closing that our home did not appraise is sickening. Cheap construction and unfinished for the price.

For the price we paid for this house it should have been completed. Like the concrete should have been sealed, the grout should have been sealed, the granite countertops should have been sealed, the garage should have been fully insulated and dry walled, the garage doors should have been insulated. I could go on and on. I would NOT recommend anyone to buying one of Pulte overpriced unfinished houses. Then after closing it took more than 30 days to get a approved Occupancy Certificate..... And should I talk about the lack of getting problems resolved in a timely manner......... no offense ...

If you are considering a Pulte home, I would strongly encourage you not to! This experience has been nothing but a nightmare. Quality and attention to detail are severely lacking. After spending a significant amount of time after closing having contractors correct items, they actually have created more issues and damages because no one from Pulte is managing the process. Pulte relies in the homeowner to find things or otherwise they hedge on it being overlooked.
