The experience of building a townhome in Retreat on the Monon was ideal! Selection of materials is on site, and very nice quality, even the lower priced materials. The project manager was very approachable and clear on the explanations of the property. Our home was completed 2 months ahead of schedule!!!

Lack of appropiate supervision throughout the building process. Several constructions issues associated with finishing work, plumbing problems( Such as pipes making noise), among other concerns.

We are not happy with the quality of the house built by Pulte. Our previous home was also a Pulte home and was in a great condition after more than 10 years. We are disappointed to see that the quality has gone down with the new house even though it is a more expensive home. There were many errors in the building process that we caught and had to bring to the field manager's attention. There were still many issues that need to be addressed after the closing.

Overall, we love our new home. We were sold on the floorplan almost as soon as we walked into the home the very first time - we definitely feel like Pulte has listened to people and designed a home that truly works for families. Our Project Manager Ian was fantastic to work with - he kept us updated about the project and how we were progressing. He took care of the concerns we had and did everything in his power to ensure issues were resolved in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the cast of sub-contractors left something to be desired at times. We did not feel like some of the crews ...

Very well defined product and process. That said not a great deal of flexibility in offering and delivery which is fine if that is what you seek. They are good at what they do, and they do it again and again!

Craftsmanship not up to par. Moved in two months ago and there are still fixes taking place on the home and yet to have a yard. Had to get on pulte just to get a rough grade on our yard and after 3 weeks finally happened by getting higher ups at Pulte involved and also getting with the landscape company. Very irritating that when fixes were to take place it would take contractors 2-3 tries to get it right. I would never recommend Pulte built home to friends or family and in fact i would steer them away. Don't get me wrong, we love the house and the layout but it is very aggravating to ...

Craftsmanship is a lost art. From concrete issues to drywall there are plenty of ways that the quality could have been better
