Super team to work with!

Been in home approx 1 month and week. I didn't notice this on the walk thru, but there are some areas now where I can see the tape in the ceiling and even some small cracks.

I've been trying to get a couple settlement holes in my yard for two months now. I had a weather letter at closing for them to finish the final grade of my yard after closing. Very disappointed but not really surprised.

10% of non-refundable earnest money required. Had to complain numerous times during the building process on many issues to get it fixed. Kept asking good feedback on the survey both construction and mortgage process. The construction manager stopped responding right after the survey was completed even though there are some items that still need to be fixed. I am not going to recommend Pulte homes to my friends.

The most important things, like structure, etc. were great. Quality of the most important things were great. Considering the cost of the house, the quality of the woodwork and the installation was not as good as I expected. Also the closets had wire shelves. Considering the cost of the house, getting wire shelves was not acceptable. The installation of the yard could have been a lot better. There are rocks, holes, etc in the yard. I'm going to have to rework a lot of the yard on my own. But like I said, the most important things were great.

Tabitha in the beginning made my walkthrough efficient. Austin has made everything after signing easy. I’ve had a few issues, but were resolved within a week.

We had a great project manager even after closing he addressed issues caused by a contractor after closing which we appreciate. We were a little upset to find out the pond isn't stocked with fish…. Even tho the sales people told us we could fish in the pond. This was a main reason we bought on a pond. That is why the trustworthiness rating was lower. I don't feel like sales has all the facts. For the most part the build quality was pretty good there were some minor things missed that of course we noticed after close, such a walls were not re pached well around window corrections and a piece missing from stair moulding. I will say some floor plan issues like doors going in vs out in the laundry room makes for a frustrating fit. These would be minor issues. Cleaning before moving in could have been better there was alot of drywall on the baseboards and I wouldnt say it was “clean” per sat like they said. I do wish our neighborhood had a park and/or pool like other Pulte neighborhoods. But we do love the smaller neighborhood vibe and close to trails. Pulte also has decent yard size as well and great buyer incentives which us the main reason we purchased as the price of the home and rate could not be beat with a pre existing home. Great experience and will definitely refer Pulte to others.

Homes layout is a hilltop which has a nice layout, however the quality of the home is poor, paint had many issues, drywall texture was cracking was supposed to be fixed before closing and only some of it was fixed. Sewer smell coming from all the sinks.

Builders were in a rush to sell the house. There was a broken window which they were aware of however did not fix. In addition contract had a ring door bell included. They refused to push the closing date regardless of these features not being present. It has been 2 months post closing and both things have not been fixed. Have reached out to them many times however it still has not been addressed. Definitely a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone

Pulte Homes has been very responsive to all of our concerns. The only complaint I have is our siding. Have asked for three weeks now to have someone look at a concern we have with some of our siding. Our warranty person has sent a few requests to the siding person but have not heard from them after three weeks. Everyone else has been quick to respond and contact us. This lack of communication on the contacts part for the siding is concerning for us.

Great company, helpful professionals

We love the Cardinal Point Community and lifestyle associated with it. Our home plan is perfect for us however the quality is not what it should be for the price paid. We have been told we can't request service unless it is something major so we are living with sticking doors, uneven paint, poor drywall finish (garage is atrocious), cracking driveway among other issues.

This is a great home with plenty of features to settle into.

From Jason in the sales office, to Hannah in PulteMortgage/Closing, our experience could not have been better. The construction and warranty management are also incredibly reachable and willing to work with our final walk through requests. We absolutely love our home and our neighborhood!

I decided to sign an agreement with Pulte Homes to buy my new home after inspecting the home. I was fascinated by the offer of covering the closing cost which was said by the Sales consultant and I was informed i would only be paying the 5% down payment which was $19700. This was an exciting offer. The mortgage application came through and I was informed by pulte mortgage that I would be paying the closing cost which runs $5000+. I called the sales consultant only to be informed that market changed and the incentive will only cover part of the closing cost. I felt so mad and disappointed why I wasn't informed early because I had to overstretch my budget to do that. I had already broken my lease agreement and running about $3400(includes lease break fee (2570) and prorated rent for the month I will be in my new home). I reached out that the sales consultant should find some leverage to help pay of my lease break fee at least and will be glad if they can pay the lease break fee of $2570. She came back to inform that the management is happy to offer $2600. I was glad about that. I signed a change order towards that and she also did sign her part and reverted back. She came back again to tell me that the mortgage company won't approve them change order that it's out of the 3% incentive. At this point I was seriously mad. I thought of why didn't she do her assignment before giving me the news it was approved and giving me a contrary option on another time. This was very painful and felt very bad about the whole scenario. I had gone far in the mortgage application and was about to close. I had to find a way by all means to get some money for the closing cost and I still had to pay my lease break fee this ran to about $10000 after paying my down payment. The whole buying process is toturing, lack of communication and there is no transparency. In all I would never refer anyone to buy from pulte homes. When you are not sure of information there is no need to say it and stop giving false hopes. She reached out to me after closing justifying the reasons why they can't paid saying the house was reduced which she already told me when I wanted to sign the agreement. This is not justifiable and till today I am still feeling bad about the bad experience of the whole buying process. ... More

Fantastic all the way through

This is our first time to build our home and Pulte provided a satisfying experience. The whole process was smooth. We were kept informed of the building on a weekly basis from our construction manager. This company was very easy to work with and we love our new home!

Overall we were very disappointed with our experience with the exception of Caleb our third construction supervisor.he was kind and could listen.

From the beginning of the process the build was well explained and all of our concerns were handled and answered promptly. Jason was an awesome Builder to work with. He was patient, attentive, and open about the process, our concerns and any issues that did come up. Any minor items that did arise were handled and corrected quickly and accurately. As a first time home builder, we were very nervous but Jason made the process very comfortable and reduced our stress! Great job!!

We found the Pulte production homes have many of the same features and upgrades as semi-custom homes by other builders. Pulte has fewer choices but the right ones; for instance: a standard bath and an upgraded option with spa shower. Not a thousand decisions to make and screw up. Pulte exceeded our expectations -- from sale to financing to insurance, title, and delivery. Their construction manager is a young and able professional, and their warranty manager is focused and driven. If I went with a used home, I would be the project manager. If I went with another builder, I would have to be my own warranty manager. I would do Pulte again. ... More

The initial encounter with the Pulte sales team was pleasant and selecting our options for the home was painless. We were kept up to date on the construction progress weekly by our manager. The home was delivered ahead of schedule. Problems encountered at the pre-drywall inspection were corrected and minor problems seen at the final inspection were finished by closing. We hired our own inspector but his few deficiencies had already been noted by our construction manager. Since moving in, minor problems have been speedily corrected by appropriate technicians. There is construction all around us but no problem getting in and out of the development. Dirt, trash from building is cleaned from the roads on a daily basis.
