Nice looking home in a good neighborhood I recommend others to buy their future home from Pulte everything look nice inside the home

For the most part the workmanship and responsiveness to issues has been pretty good. Seems like the materials used could be a higher grade, like the mirrors, faucets and towel bars. Be sure to be careful as to what lot and model you and both of your neighbors choose. In Fishers at the Remington we have our neighbor with a large open covered patio on the northwest corner of their house and our master bedroom is on the southwest corner of our house. So any noise comes straight to our bedroom. Also, the top soil was removed before the houses were built so the yard is nothing but rocks of all sizes, concrete, metal and all kinds of building items. It is nearly impossible to get anything but weeds to grow along the side and back of the house. This was a farm previously so the soil should have been excellent. There was also a mix up on the water softener/reverse osmosis system. I take half the blame because I didn't notice it on the specs but no house should be built in Indiana and not have a water softener or at least the hookup for one. We wouldn't want a reverse osmosis system with a farmhouse sink. The cleaning crew could have done a much better job throughout the house. The floor guy had to come back out because of some spots in various places in the house. He ended up using acetone to remove them. I had to go around every inch of the carpet along the hard woods with a hammer and mash down the spikes. The entire Pulte team made the purchasing process painless and seamless. Each department from buying/touring properties, financing, mortgage, to working with my construction manager, and finally closing all went better than expected. The entire team was very communicative and responsive.

The house was not clean even after some items were noted previously, The landscapers turned off my irrigation setup twice when working on my yard and my neighbor's yard and never turned it back on causing the grass to brown. There was no orientation to where my mailbox is and the numbers and locations for the mailboxes are a extremely unorganized with no logical progressive format.

My experience with purchasing a spec home from Pulte Homes has been mixed. Initially, the salesperson who assisted me was very pleasant and helpful throughout the buying process, which was reassuring. However, upon moving into the house, I encountered several issues that have been frustrating to deal with. One of the most surprising discoveries was that the kitchen exhaust was not installed. When I raised this concern, I was informed that it wasn't included in the specifications for the home. Frankly, I find it hard to believe that any modern home would be built without such a basic feature. One of the most surprising discoveries was that the garage door did not include an automatic opener. This seems like a basic feature that should be included in any modern home, yet it was not part of the package for my home. This omission has been inconvenient and unexpected, adding to the frustrations of settling into a new home. Shortly after settling in, I noticed a leak between the second and third garage spaces. I promptly reported this to the appropriate contact at Pulte Homes, who initially came to inspect the issue. They acknowledged the problem and mentioned they would consult their manager. Unfortunately, despite my follow-up emails, it took weeks for them to return and address only a portion of the leak, leaving the drywall still in need of repair. Further complicating matters, the ceiling lights began malfunctioning not long after. Despite reporting this issue promptly, I have yet to see any resolution after several weeks. Another disappointment has been with the backyard landscaping. The yard was delivered with straw installed, but underneath it, there are large rocks that have made it challenging for the grass to grow evenly. It's clear that this was not disclosed or adequately addressed during the purchase process. Reflecting on my experience, I would strongly advise prospective buyers to thoroughly inspect every aspect of the house before finalizing their purchase. Really a good house thy have at pulte

Building process was very quick and on time.

Our builder did an excellent job in making our new home befitting, the only issue I have is they didn't use the right brick that we picked and the sales rep didn't upgrade our door handle as discussed with the builder, but overall,I had a good experience.

Super team to work with!

Been in home approx 1 month and week. I didn't notice this on the walk thru, but there are some areas now where I can see the tape in the ceiling and even some small cracks.

I've been trying to get a couple settlement holes in my yard for two months now. I had a weather letter at closing for them to finish the final grade of my yard after closing. Very disappointed but not really surprised.

10% of non-refundable earnest money required. Had to complain numerous times during the building process on many issues to get it fixed. Kept asking good feedback on the survey both construction and mortgage process. The construction manager stopped responding right after the survey was completed even though there are some items that still need to be fixed. I am not going to recommend Pulte homes to my friends.

The most important things, like structure, etc. were great. Quality of the most important things were great. Considering the cost of the house, the quality of the woodwork and the installation was not as good as I expected. Also the closets had wire shelves. Considering the cost of the house, getting wire shelves was not acceptable. The installation of the yard could have been a lot better. There are rocks, holes, etc in the yard. I'm going to have to rework a lot of the yard on my own. But like I said, the most important things were great.

Tabitha in the beginning made my walkthrough efficient. Austin has made everything after signing easy. I’ve had a few issues, but were resolved within a week.

We had a great project manager even after closing he addressed issues caused by a contractor after closing which we appreciate. We were a little upset to find out the pond isn't stocked with fish…. Even tho the sales people told us we could fish in the pond. This was a main reason we bought on a pond. That is why the trustworthiness rating was lower. I don't feel like sales has all the facts. For the most part the build quality was pretty good there were some minor things missed that of course we noticed after close, such a walls were not re pached well around window corrections and a piece missing from stair moulding. I will say some floor plan issues like doors going in vs out in the laundry room makes for a frustrating fit. These would be minor issues. Cleaning before moving in could have been better there was alot of drywall on the baseboards and I wouldnt say it was “clean” per sat like they said. I do wish our neighborhood had a park and/or pool like other Pulte neighborhoods. But we do love the smaller neighborhood vibe and close to trails. Pulte also has decent yard size as well and great buyer incentives which us the main reason we purchased as the price of the home and rate could not be beat with a pre existing home. Great experience and will definitely refer Pulte to others.

Homes layout is a hilltop which has a nice layout, however the quality of the home is poor, paint had many issues, drywall texture was cracking was supposed to be fixed before closing and only some of it was fixed. Sewer smell coming from all the sinks.

Builders were in a rush to sell the house. There was a broken window which they were aware of however did not fix. In addition contract had a ring door bell included. They refused to push the closing date regardless of these features not being present. It has been 2 months post closing and both things have not been fixed. Have reached out to them many times however it still has not been addressed. Definitely a terrible experience and would not recommend to anyone

Pulte Homes has been very responsive to all of our concerns. The only complaint I have is our siding. Have asked for three weeks now to have someone look at a concern we have with some of our siding. Our warranty person has sent a few requests to the siding person but have not heard from them after three weeks. Everyone else has been quick to respond and contact us. This lack of communication on the contacts part for the siding is concerning for us.

Great company, helpful professionals

We love the Cardinal Point Community and lifestyle associated with it. Our home plan is perfect for us however the quality is not what it should be for the price paid. We have been told we can't request service unless it is something major so we are living with sticking doors, uneven paint, poor drywall finish (garage is atrocious), cracking driveway among other issues.
