I was very happy throughout the process

So far we don’t have any big issues with the house. Only minor issues. The only thing bothers us is that the drywall material seems to be not the best quality, it’s super difficult to paint on our wall ( we bought the best quality SW paint), and some areas the wall is not super straight, or you can easily see studs. Except these few issues, we are super happy with the house, we like the floor plan, we like all the closet space, we like the people we work with (super responsive and helpful). I already recommended pulte to a few of my friends looking for new homes.

We love our new home. Only minor issues and most are resolved. The post closing issues are being handled rather quickly. Biggest complaint was not being able to get minor changes. We wanted a couple extra outlets in cleaning closet and storage closet. Not happening! Wanted to hang our Dyson vacuum inside the cleaning closet out of the cold garage. That was mission impossible. I use the under stairs closet for my crafting supplies. Wanted a second light or an outlet for a lamp there (saw it in a model). Again mission impossible. But, overall we love our forever home.

Building with Pulte homes was overall a great experience, our project manager Mitchell was great and kept us updated throughout. Since finishing the build, I have submitted a maintenance request for them to come check a leak from the sprinklers they just installed but I never got a reply.. hopefully they will sharpen up in after care, but the overall build process was great.

Overall a good company to buy from. I felt as though our Pulte contractors were doing the best they could but seemed to have too much going on to be quick at handling some of our punch list items post closing. They were always quick to respond to a message or call about something that needed to be fixed or worked on, but the time to get it resolved at the home wasn't always the quickest. The worst quality issues overall were little things that should have been easy to remedy, the paint and caulk. the subfloor on the second level is noisy to walk on it. Constantly creaking to walk around. (I don't think the builders used screws or glue to join the subfloor to the supports) The painters who worked on this home took no time to tape out edges or even repaint walls that had poorly color matched touch ups. Additionally, the windows needed to be caulked better several cracks and seams. I know these things sound trivial, however buying a model property from a reputable home builder makes you think that they would have contractors with better attention to detail. Everything went very well during the construction phase. Punch list from the closing walkthrough still not fix for almost 2 months.

Wish that more “upgrades” such as soft close kitchen drawers were part of the basic home package at this price point ($500k+).

Overall a wonderful home for our retirement. We would like to see a little more responsiveness the finishing touches to our home, but we love the home overall.

Pulte has been closing many homes without final finishes. They need to review little details before closing and finish work before buyers move in. There shouldn't be rush at the very end to close home. There is nothing major but it affect quality.

The homebuying experience with Pulte was great and easy. We got weekly updates and any questions we had while building the home were answered within a day. The sales rep and field manager we had were very attentive to our needs. My best piece of advice would be to visit all of the Pulte neighborhoods in the area and try to price out options in each neighborhood before you decide what you want. This way you get to hear different options from different Sales Reps that you may not have known about otherwise.

It was nice to have good communication with the builder and their managers. Quick answers to tough questions were not uncommon.

Jodee was excellent to work with and timely with all my requests, the mortgage team was friendly and helpful my field manager was quick to take action for any issues but seemed to lack the time to ensure the quality of the work being done. Overall good experienced team but maybe the amount of construction might be impacting quality.

I was impressed during the build by the responsiveness to fix things when things didn’t go quite right. Stuff always happens during a build but it is how it’s handled and the honesty that concerns me the most. Each instance was handled the right way the first time. I was impressed.

Fairly easy process. I've always heard that building a house was a nightmare. This was not my experience. Any issues that came up were addressed in a timely manner. Communication was clear.....it may take a day or two to hear back on something....but this crew is slammed busy so that didn't bother me. Finding a lot of cosmetic drywall issues now that I'm living in the house, but will get these handled at my 1 yr inspection. Other minor issues have been addressed in a timely manner. My advice is to visit often and inspect even more. Catch things as early as you can to avoid any major problems down the road. Fingers crossed that nothing MAJOR occurrs after my warranty is up. Very pleased with the quality of my new home.

The buying process was smooth. The sales team went above and beyond to earn my business. Because of the nature of my job, I would arrive just before the closing hour and Jim would not complain but would answer all my questions and walk me through some homes being built to help me understand the floor plans, despite the freezing winter cold. Pulte mortgage was a good experience. Uploading documents was easy. I wish they have a means to monitor their interest rates to better inform home buyers the best time to lock-in their rates. Quality of the home is good. I would rate it as 4/5 because it can’t be perfect. Nothing major, just minor defects. Some were corrected quickly, but the response from Pulte warranty for defects noticed within first 30 days was at snail speed. ... More

Building quality was great with exceptional design that wow folks.

We have built two homes with Pulte. And overall they have a quality, well built product. The staff members that we worked with were fantastic!!!

Pulte needs to raise their standards a bit. Trim work detail is very disappointing, fit and finish of some doors is not that great.
