Overall, a good experience. House was done quickly, most issues addressed in timely manner. Pulte Mortgage process was cumbersome, took a long time. Some included features were dated and very basic, designed to make you feel the need to upgrade. But overall we have been mostly pleased and love our new home.

Building with Pulte homes was overall a great experience, our project manager Mitchell was great and kept us updated throughout. Since finishing the build, I have submitted a maintenance request for them to come check a leak from the sprinklers they just installed but I never got a reply.. hopefully they will sharpen up in after care, but the overall build process was great.

Home Buying Experience

The worst build process I’ve ever been through in my life. Too many issues to type but all it takes is one look through my history. Since I’ve been in the home (2 months), I’ve already had a ceiling leak in my master bath, electrical problems (outlets not working in all bathrooms, window still not fixed that was on closing detail, landscaping not completed. I would not and will not recommend Pulte, not even to my worst enemy.

Once home is signed for Pultie s very slow to respond to home issues let along give direction on how to get things fixed. Been here 7 weeks and still no back yard. Pultie won’t come and fix things, like painting, leftover blue tape for 10 months! No one wants to take responsibility for home issues, granted they are little but paying what we did for a home we shouldn’t be treated this way.

Really not happy with the awful conditions of the front and the back yards of my new build house since we closed in March . We still don’t have any sods in front and any seeds in the back, landscaping never got done for 2 months since we closed. The front yard is still full of mud, trash, black plastic bags, water retainer bag, plastic bottle full of pee, big rocks, gravels and dirts from when the house was being built!! We’ve been told by the construction manager that it will get cleaned and fixed but nothing actually got done!! Being a first time home buyer, I will definitely learn a lot ...

Overall a good company to buy from. I felt as though our Pulte contractors were doing the best they could but seemed to have too much going on to be quick at handling some of our punch list items post closing. They were always quick to respond to a message or call about something that needed to be fixed or worked on, but the time to get it resolved at the home wasn't always the quickest. Pulte Spec Home Purchase Process

Probably a less common experience as we purchased a spec home. Home was finished about 10 days before closing. Overall happy with the house/value. We had a few issues noted before closing that were fixed but it took over 6 weeks after moving in to have the issues resolved. Issues were with contractors showing, being late, or miscommunication. Two months in we are loving the house and haven’t had any new issues. Would recommend

One of the most frustrating experiences of my life building with this company. Inconsistent oversight of subcontractors. Lack of transparency with issues. Poor communication during the build process. If you build with this company I would never come to the construction site. Watching "how the sausage is made" will do nothing but aggravate you. Make sure to hire a private inspector before closing.

Poor Communication and Finish Quality

We regularly experienced delays or difficulty communicating with our construction manager, Logan. During the construction process of our almost $800K home, he was often unresponsive for days or weeks at a time and only responded after several follow-ups when cc'ing everyone we'd talked to from Pulte. Whenever we met in person, Logan wouldn't take notes about our concerns and smirked at our concerns about poor finish quality and workmanship. We purchased a build that already had its custom features selected by someone who was going to purchase but chose not to. There were a lot of things that were told to us about the home that turned out not to be exactly correct. Which we did not learn until after we moved in. The materials used inside the home are not top of the line as we were told. The cabinetry is mass produced and cheaply made. This is our second home but our first ever built and the whole process was stressful to say the least. I was disappointed at the quality that the house was delivered. The quality of workmanship and materials are embarrassing and doesn't worth the money we pay for the house. We came upon several issues while we did our preclosing check up and our concerns were heard until we had to involve more people. The house would have been delivered better if Pulte homes didn't push to finish the house sooner than it was supposed to. I doubt we will go with Pulte homes for our next house. NEVER AGAIN!

Shandra the realtor lied to us about multiple situations; if a verbal promise is made obtain documentation of that conversation. Upon purchase date former verbal promises were still unclear and we were unable to these benefits. During the home buying process we were informed that the house was being sold to another party, yet this information was false due to improper procedures. We signed up for a home and until we pay the earnest money, the sales rep was behind us and after that she never responded to our emails / texts or any questions. I will never buy from Pulte again.
