We bought a home built by pulte at the end of last year. And we’ve had a lot of problems since then. The major ones include broken subfloor, broken windows, and the in appropriate dimensioning on the windows (I.e. tapered windows) and Green Mold buildup in the basement. Warranty has been working on most of the issues but when we brought up the issue of mold they won’t repair it. It has been just three months for us living in this house and there is green mold. Disgruntled military family

This experience has been absolutely terrible. The day that we closed on our house there was trash all over the front yard and brought the issue up to our project manager. The issue was never fixed and on top of that the walk through of the house before close, the house was not even cleaned. Drywall dust, paint splatters and trash was all through out the house. The Lies

What was supposed to take 6 months ended up taking a year. Closing was rescheduled 6 times. It’s not so much the length of time that was bothersome, but the constant promises that were always broken. We’ve now been in our home for nearly 2 months and there are still things incomplete with the home that were addressed months before closing. Would never choose Pulte again, nor would I recommend it to anyone because of the experience we had.

The customer service from this company is non-existent. From the top to the bottom they do not value their customer’s experience in the slightest. We had multiple issues with our foundation and basement during the building process caused by the field manager, and had to contact him first about it. Then we had to demand certain things take place to ensure they did not try to cut corners. Communication on progress or about issues was never initiated by Pulte and it takes a minimum of 2-3 attempts at contact before a short response that often doesn’t even address your concerns or answer your ...

We moved into our Pulte house in late March, and there have been a ton of issues with our house. See list: -Roof in our office leaked due to defective shingles which led to trim damage. -Painting was rushed as whole walls/rooms need to be repainted. Our house is currently stickered as we wait for the painters to come back. Go with another lender

Do not go with the Pulte lender!!! They will make you jump through hurdles for the same rate another lender will offer you for free. We got our keys but we’re still sending them documentation. Watch everything in the build process. Take notes & stay on top of the construction manager to get stuff done!!

Every single trade of my home had to be redone in the build. If there was a half or corner to cut Pulte did it. ZERO Ability in providing the customer what you buy.

I would not recommend building with Pulte to anyone. The sales process was bait and switch. They tell you one price and up it for things like lights which a normal builder would include a flush mount light in a quarter million dollar price tag. They give the cheapest items possible, the price point and marketing claims your getting superior luxury, it’s a lie. The corporate office will not back their product, they don’t communicate. I was so excited to build with Pulte as we had purchased a model home from them three years ago. We had picked out the perfect lot and did over $100k in upgrades too! I had expected a few bumps in the road but not as many as we went through. Quality workmanship is nowhere to be found in any phase of build. Contract for purchase was signed one year ago and still unfinished house (outside of house not painted, my guess is will never be caulked, yard is mud and rocks). Every phase of build appears to have been done by a blind two year old. House was just thrown together with attitude of just do it as cheaply as possible with as unskilled labor as is possible. The site Field manager was very responsive, mindful and efficient in his job. I was regularly frustrated with Pulte Mortgage, Whirlpool and the warranty team. Worst decision I’ve made when it comes to buying a home

To start, the house still is not complete. We’re been lied to at every stage of the building process. The quality of work is garbage. Parts of the house have literally started falling apart within 1-2 weeks of moving in. No one ever comes to fix the issues. My building manager, Blake, was unable to tell the truth or had no idea what he was doing. I could go on and on but I’m working and this isn’t worth my time.

Worst Experience Ever

This has been one of the most frustrating, disappointing and exhausting experiences of my life. The so-called sales agent and mortgage team were painfully difficult to work with and provided no true assistance - rude, condescending and incompetent. The builder was nice and provided weekly updates, but the contractors were sloppy and the finished home was less than quality. I would not recommend Pulte to anyone ever. Completely regret my decision to buy a Pulte home.

The sales agent in every step threatens to cancel the deal and take the five percent deposit. Finished an incomplete home and still things are not getting resolved. Emailing and multiple people. Everyone says we will resolve and still have unresolved issues. Stay away from them
