We are very satisfied with the quality of our home. The only thing I wasn’t very happy about is the absence of a threshold in the area between the carpet and wooden floors. I eventually had the field manager install a few for me. Without the thresholds, I had the carpet tacks poking me a couple of times, even though I chose the 1st level upgrade. Had I known of this issue, I would have paid a couple of thousand dollars more to get the 3rd level upgrade.

Not the highest quality of workmanship. Numerous places where painting was poorly done and molding not connected. Issue with flooring within two weeks of moving in.

My husband and I are very happy with our home purchase. We had our first leak due to a punctured drain pipe (TV mounted incorrectly) and Pulte graciously fixed it for us. I would definitely recommend.

Delays in fixiing issues

Delays is correcting issues discovered since Day 1. External HVAC system installed in the wrong place - was promised it would be moved before move in Day. It's not. Poorly installed HVAC system caused water leak that damage carpets. Still has not been repaired. I understand COVID problems, but yet the contractors who are supposed to fix the problems are actively working new construction in the development. Customer service promises fixes, but just not seeing any progress.

My home buying experience with Pulte was generally a good partnership. I've been in my townhouse just about 3 months, I really like my townhome and during the first month the Pulte building team was awesome responding to requests and issues I contacted them about. Lately, I keep finding evidence that Pulte used CHEAP materials in the building of my home. Good people in the office, but horrible materials and even worse contractors

The sales manager was great. However, the materials and the contractors that Pulte hires were horrible. The contractors were sloppy at best. We have paint on our wood floors, scratch marks in the floors where they were dragging appliances in our kitchen, dents in the cabinets, loose door cabinets, holes in the walls where they installed the banister incorrectly and failed to patch it up, and so much more. The paint they use is a cheap flat paint that is impossible to keep clean and already looks worn. We are already talking about painting the entire house because of the horrible and cheap ...

I have been in my home for approximately 3 months. There are greatly noticeable cracks and nail pops throughout the house that were visible prior to moving in. Drywall spackle on mirrors, countertops, walls, and doors I cleaned after closing on the house. The conduit outside the house for the fiber optic line was cut and covered over with concrete making it very difficult for the technician to run the line. Beware of Dishonest Sales team

The salesperson I worked with was dishonest on multiple occasions. While Pulte has a decent reputation, this individual lies and manipulates situations with no accountability. Then when concerns are escalated, you’re sent to a general sales manager who pretends to listen to your concerns, only to be dismissed, disrespected, and told “you can always find somewhere else to live.” As soon as I moved in and began talking to others in the community, they shared similar stories about how this same salesperson misled them on several occasions. I was disappointed by my experience with Pulte. The workmanship was poor as best. I spent 6 hours marking nearly 2000 workmanship and quality defects. Ten days later at my pre-closing walk-through - 30 minutes before closing - trades were in the house still working on the builder’s punch list and maybe 25% of the issues I pointed out. There were issues I pointed out during the walk-through that were ignored. Paint over that flaw, smudge some goop in that scratch, didn’t clean up paint splatter on the floors and tiles. One month later, still waiting for them to come back and finish the punch ...

Pulte did a horrible job with the drywall in multiple places. It looks like the home is 20 years old instead of a new build. Pulte damaged my floors and I had to argue for over a week to get them replaced. After temporarily moving out while they fixed the floors, I returned to find glue all over the floor and the floor had bulked up in the kitchen. It was also not level in other places. It’s been 3 weeks and they have still not come back to repair the floor. The steps were also damaged by Pulte and they still haven’t repaired those either. The list goes on and on.
