The sales consultant and construction folks were very responsive and thorough but the quality and workmanship is so, so poor. After closing there were areas that were not painted that we did not catch, the stairwell started chipping, the railings were crooked, things that were promised at the walk through were not followed up on. The worst part is that I had a leak in my basement that wet a large area of the carpet and now the dry wall has been cut to look for the leak and it’s been almost a month and nothing has been fixed. I went over a list of items that needed to be fixed because it was never fixed before closing and the care manager did not meet the date that she was supposed to reply to me and then booked me out a week and a half after I escalated to her manager. This is the 3rd new home that we have purchased in the last 10 years or so. Initially, everything sounded great and it seemed as if Pulte truly stood behind what their employees said. Now we are noticing too many issues with the craftsmanship and no one giving a solution to the repairs needed from a water leak. There has been a hole in our main floor roof for almost 3 weeks now and we are told that someone needs to come assess the situation AGAIN next week. Most of the craftsmanship issues are misalignment of cabinets/drawers, door latches and hinges, and french doors. Also making cuts too small or jagged leaving a poor finish or gap. All these problems can be fixed with more care in the overall finished product and a true quality control process. This process may exist but it is almost definitely not followed, some of our walk-through fixes were missed and should have been seen if they were inspected. Overall a very good experience and professional.

I should have known dealing with Pulte was going to be a disaster from day one. From the very initial VIP phone call, all the way through the entire almost 18-month process has been nothing but a disaster and lies. Pulte only cares about the money and does not care about their customers or doing the right thing for its customers. Pulte manipulates and twists things around and takes advantage of their clients. They are greedy and they are unethical. I have more faith and trust in a used car salesman than I do dealing with Pulte. I would never suggest or recommend anyone have a home built by Pulte but if all other options were gone and you had no other choice but to deal with Pulte then I highly suggest you only deal with a gentleman by the name of Josh Earhart. He's the only person I dealt with that I had true integrity and morals. ... More

I do not really care to have large stone in the driveway! The garage door seems to be very small. The garage walls were not properly finished!

Its has been a horrible sales experience and the followup has been even worst. I wouldn't purchase a Pulte Homes property again. I feel that your company doesn't care about their customers and its all about the money!!

The building team is responsive and trustworthy.

The whole process of selecting the lot, selecting the materials and closing was easy with the team. They were very patient from the beginning and very helpful to any inquiries I have even after moving in

We loved everything about our new home in Crown, from the quality and workmanship , to the appliances. Every promises made by our builder were met, even after we moved in, he followed up, check on us weekly to make sure everything was perfect. The sales associates were also amazing. We had a great experience.

Bottom Line: If you buy a Pulte home do not close/sign until your problems are resolved because they will not care once the papers are signed. Building workmanship /quality came with many issues that were pushed off and required multiple trips by the construction team to fix simple items that should have been caught by the builder before we arrived. We were accepting that things are busy and that it may take some time to get people over to fix things but now we are a month in and still having issues getting these initial problems addressed. This lack of quality control on items that were visible obvious to someone who has no background in home building and buying a first home only leads to more questions on what is wrong with things I cannot see. I will say Ben and the sales staff were absolutely wonderful to work with. Ben was responsive from the moment we walked through closing. Ben was honest and trustworthy. When we had issues with the building team that were not being addressed, Ben was always there to help and ensure questions got answers. We would love to work with him again in the future. ... More

This is the first time we have worked with a builder and it was a fabulous experience! Jason, in particular, was fantastic!

Maybe built too fast, lots of problems found after closing. The maintenance department responded quickly.
