We are very happy with our purchased condo unit especially with the quality of materials used in the construction as well as with the services provided!

We recently purchases a Pulte home and overall it was a good experience. However we would advise new buyers to be very vigilant while doing your walk through. Some of the issues we identified were addressed and there were some we missed until we lived here for a few days. There was a lack of proper clean up on counter tops that were left with sticky residue. Paint drops on new hardwood floors. Stains on new tile floors.Hand rail on basement stairs not properly attached. Garage door doesnt stay closed unless deadbolt is attached. Again, the heating thermostat is very confusing. Also, the shower door kept rolling open, but it has now been fixed.

The sales office staff are terrific. Helpful and honest. The construction staff that completed walkthroughs were terrific as well. Again, helpful and honest. Corporate Pulte is not trustworthy. We worked with the Sales Office to set a closing date. One month later, we heard from our attorney that we were going to be penalized $16k for failing to meet the closing date, ie the date that the condo was supposedly completed. We never received a letter notifying us of a closing date. They justified their actions stating that “the contract stated that we needed to close on the completion date”. That is true but a Pulte Sales Person worked with us to close a few weeks later. We had no options except to pay the penalty or lose the condo. Our attorney agreed that they were wrong but said that this was pretty typical for Pulte. We are happy with our course but do not trust Pulte. ... More

Both Mary(s), Sales Consultants, were extremely easy to work with and provided exceptional guidance from Purchase/Sales to Closing. Kris and Sean, Senior Construction Managers, were informative throughout the construction phase and walk through and no question was to elementary for them to answer. Comments or concerns were addressed on timely and professional manner. Pulte offers a turn key solution on purchasing/building your dream home.

We identified several issues, including unfinished work and defects, during our walkthrough. Given the current state of the house, it would be unreasonable for Pulte to request us to proceed with the closing. If we were local, I would decline the closing because the house is not ready for occupancy. Even after the closing, Pulte had yet to assign workers to address issues in our house, hindering our ability to change the garage door code. In the days following the closing, we visited our new house multiple times and discovered new problems regularly, such as chipped hardwood floors that raised concerns about the material quality. The window frames were constructed using defective wood, prompting questions about Pulte's choice of materials. Additionally, the toilet was either blocked or flooded, presumably due to workers using it (which they shouldn't). We have also brought some belongings from our old house to the new one, and I'm concerned about the security of these items. The design lacks consideration for convenience. For instance, in the master bath, there's no accessible location for a dry towel after a shower. The towel bar is actually installed in the toilet room, a separate space from the shower. Finding a suitable spot for a towel bar within reach in the shower is challenging. In the kitchen, there are large cabinets but a shortage of drawers, making it difficult to efficiently organize the space for various storage needs ... More

We thought we trusted the brand name, but unfortunately, we did not receive what it was worth even though we paid for higher options.

The only reason I did not rank "great" across the board is we've only been in the home a few weeks. Quality of the build and materials will not to start revealing themselves until more time has passed. The Pulte client success managers and punch contractor have all been highly responsive thus far to needed adjustments after we moved in.

IMPORTANT: Above ratings are distorted (lower) because of 1 group. 1) Pulte HQ communication was excellent 2) Customer Service once moved in was/ is outstanding. MIke and Chandler understand and truly exhibit the meaning of customer centric. .A few things they did made such a positive impact and we appreciate them. 3) Sales after P&S was fine for very minor things but several key and critical aspects , so important to us, were a challenge after challenge and frustration. They lacked an understanding of how to communicate, work with, exhibit even some flexibility and how to value customers. When I found the Pulte community of new townhouses in Sudbury Ma, I was so happy! We purchased on of the Ashton design, and we are so happy. Quality workmanship and the crew we delt with are super nice and very helpful. Value was also great for what we got. We would buy a Pulte home in a heartbeat in the future. Thank you for making our dream come true :)

Pulte built condo was a good bargain for new construction everything outlined was delivered.

Communication is poor. You need to ask multiple times to get a response.

We are disappointed with the quality of the workmanship and the lack of quality control, more than the quality of the materials. I expected the materials to be a little more high end but overall they have been satisfactory. We are making a few uprades and have had to ask for someone to come in to clean up grout on tile, replacement of defective tiles and clean up of glue on hardwood floors, and replacement of stained pieces of hardwood. The sloppiness of the contractors and lack of oversight by Pulte was surprising. Responsiveness by Pulte has been hot and cold. We were excited to move into our new home and it was unfortunate to have to deal with so many issues. ... More

Love our new home and Pulte has been very responsive to all our needs.

Very unresponsive to issues noted at walk thru

Very responsive before the sale, less so afterward, For example, I requested the name of the interior paint 3 weeks ago!

Although we like the unit, dealing with Pulte has been very frustrating. From sales, to closing, to builder manager, to "customer care", there is a overall lack of communication and transparency. Finishing of our unit is messy and careless. Many items on our punch list have not been fixed, and our customer care people have not responded to our email requesting a meeting. Even a simple acknowledgement of our email would have been appreciated. Taking the experience as a whole, knowing what we know now, I doubt we would have bought from Pulte.

It was a wonderful and easy experience buying our new condo at Pennington Crossing by Pulte Homes. We are very happy with how smooth the process was and how they communicated everything we needed to know.

It is now over two months since the closing and the punch list items still have yet to be addressed. We closed in good faith having been promised that the items would be dealt with quickly. They have not been addressed nor is there a projected time frame when they will be addressed.

We were very pleased with the process. We had some issues with buyer financing, at the last minute that could have impacted the purchase of the Pulte Home, but we were able to develop a plan to resolve the situation. We are happy with the home and the neighborhood.

The experience was great until the end. Last few items on the punch list are taking forever — drawer in master bathroom and incorrectly placed downspout in the front.

Terrific person. Very responsive, and always has the correct information.
