The Pulte team, particularly construction manager Isiah, did an excellent job of keeping construction on schedule and keeping us informed of progress throughout the project. And Isiah responded to all of our questions and concerns in a very timely manner.

The master bath is not safe to shower in. Looks like it wasn’t designed to take shower in. I will have to spend money to complete the shower. If you would like to help me let me know

After one month many unexpected issues: Light switches and towel racks located in atypical locations, HVAC was wired incorrectly so fan ran continuously, brick work on back of the house not acid washed, concrete step leading to the porch had 6 inch crack/wedge fall out, several paint problems (visible tape joints, missed spots around handles), 3 of the four bathroom sink faucets leak, most doors not plumb so they are "ghost" doors, entire section of roof shingles were not properly sealed and blew off during strong winds, garage door vertical gaskets improperly installed (needed to be reinstalled and repainted). As real estate agents ourselves, we have seen many homebuilding experiences, so we had a good sense of what to expect going into the process. Overall, our experience was very positive. The team was professional, communicative, and responsive throughout the build. We especially want to recognize Justin Flink, the Construction Manager, who was truly exceptional. Justin was always attentive, transparent, and quick to address any questions or concerns we had. His professionalism, organization, and willingness to help made a big difference during the construction process. From a real estate perspective, we understand that no build is ever completely perfect, but what really matters is how the team responds and supports the homeowner, and in that regard, Justin and the team did a great job. Pulte’s contract is one sided, entitling them legally to do whatever they want. They can change your home, lot, site plan, closing date, etc. at will and you can’t do anything about it. They won’t even provide a discount when the changes impact the value of your home. We waited 11 months for our unit which they actually built in a hurry in 6 months. Their quality standards are low and they refer to these as Pulte’s standards”. At the final inspection, 2-5 days prior to closing, they will show you your home dirty with cracks on walls, incomplete paint on walls, extra drilled holes on walls due to incorrect placement of closet wire shelves, paint spots on fixtures and floors, scratched and dirty kitchen cabinets, dirty carpet, etc. You mark every issue you can find in just 2 hours and they tell you they will fix it all before your closing in 2-5 days. Then you find your home, after closing, in a similar shape as when you inspected it a few days earlier. The manager that handles the last part of their process is incompetent. He lacks expertise and customer service skills. He is disrespectful, non-trustworthy and incapable of apologizing. We never received information on how things work in the home, which he was supposed to provide us with. He simply he gave us 2 pamphlets to read. If you complain or request to speak with their management, they make it impossible. Furthermore, if you get to speak with their management, they will side with their incompetent staff and even lie to you. In summary, we did not find a Pulte representative during our buying process that was trustworthy, beginning with the sales person, through their construction managers and their management. Just a couple of months in the home, we are still cleaning, we are finding more cracks surfacing on the walls and poor quality issues. ... More

This was a great experience overall. The quality of some materials is average.

My only complaint is that the model had a cove ceiling and a bay window. Nothing was said that those would be extras if I wanted them. And yes I would but when my home was built no cove ceiling and no bay window only to find out I had to specify that I wanted them. They were never mentioned in the upgrade section. I feel a little put out by that.

The whole experience was great beginning to end. There were some delays on the lending side, but it was handled very quickly and professionally. The biggest critique I have with the home is placement of light switches and a few outlets for convenience. Outside of that, the workmanship method my standards, and the materials used in construction were better than my last home with a different builder!

Very good team that support the home buying experience from the first visit to the sales office to warranty repairs post closing. The processes and systems used to manage their home building experience are attuned to customer in all aspects. Open, honest, friendly and efficient team. Well done Pulte!

We recently moved into our newly constructed home and while we’re happy to finally be in the space, our overall experience with the construction process was mixed. While the house itself has good bones and we’re excited to make it our own, several things were left unfinished or missing at the time of closing. It was clear that the team rushed to meet the closing date, which unfortunately came at the expense of quality and completeness. These were details we expected to be handled before we moved in, and having to follow up afterward has been frustrating. One of the biggest issues has been the condition of the driveway, which was delivered in an extremely poor state—cracked, uneven, and clearly not up to standard. We’ve been told this will be addressed by insurance a couple of months after move-in, but in the meantime it’s been an eyesore and a source of stress. Another disappointment was the conduct of the construction manager. Due to some miscommunication between our side and his, instead of working with us to clarify and resolve things, he responded in a way that came off as unprofessional and dismissive. As homeowners investing a great deal into this process, we expected more respectful and transparent communication. To their credit, the team has acknowledged some of the issues and is taking steps to resolve them. We’re hopeful that, once everything is finally completed and corrected, we’ll be able to fully enjoy our new home—but the process to get there has not been as smooth or respectful as it should have been. ... Wrong color cabinets and floors were installed. Unit was extremely dirty at walk through. Floors were not protected and dried mud was thought out main floor. Bath tub in one of the bathrooms was not protected during construction and had 1-2 inches of debris in it. Poor paint job through out whole place. Windows were not aligned because were kept open during freezing temperatures.Toilet was not installed properly. Water tank was not heating water hot enough and we had to adjust it twice and still not getting a good result. Water pressure is low. Construction debris were not cleaned up and stuck frozen around property. Construction manager was great and helped a lot to resolve some issues and smooth out a negative experience. ... More

The process of purchasing a Pulte home went smoothly. They did an ex job keeping me up to date on the build progress. The inspection before move in went well. The home was spotless. We found a lot of small items that needed to be fixed. However, the final inspection on the day of closing went well. All items were fixed, but the workers left a mess behind. My suggestion would be to wait to clean the condo until all items were fixed, and have them fixed before the close date.

Sales was good as well as mortgage process. All add on items were over priced for the value furnished. The French doors in the den were installed off center and had to be reconstructed after move in. Many items were missed or damaged. The warranty department is all about excuses for not doing the work. Instead of fixing the items now they keep saying wait for the one year mark because they only fix items once. Pulte used to be a great builder in the 90s but are only interested in getting more money for junk. Not satisfied at all.

Good communications. Small issues quickly got fixed.

I had several issues coming already in new built home, one of such issue is air coming out from doors poor insulation. Hardwood floor is damaged and many more

We had a great experience with our salesperson Marissa. The house is ok but we are not impressed with the materials and built quality. Responses to issues have not been so great after closing day, we still have pending issues that we are waiting to get solved for a month.

Still long way to go for the quality improvement and responsiveness. Strong impression that your goal is just to get an approval signature without listening to the customers' issues afterwards. Pulte still lacks of providing reliable home quality to the customer satisfaction with making the reasonable profits instead of ripping off the customers.

We are Happy with our new home with just minor details. My kitchen is Beautiful we’ve just been here for a month and had minor issues that will report to contractor

The experience started with the sales agent Caroline. She was friendly, patient, understanding and very knowledgeable. We particularly liked that we could sit with her and get immediate feedback on the cost of each option we chose. Choosing the finishes in their display center was also a great experience. We could see and touch samples of all the options and again got immediate feedback on cost. During the build we had almost weekly updates on progress. We had opportunities to meet both construction managers. The final finishes were exactly what we had hoped. Derek was very helpful in the final walk thru and was very responsive. Overall they exceeded our expectations. The only thing to note is that the choice of finishes is somewhat limited but you have options from economy to high end. ... More

We really want to thank Shaun, Derek, Marissa and the team for making the building of our first home a breeze. We had no idea about what the process would entail and the building process with Pulte was so straightforward that we knew exactly what each next step was. More importantly, we felt like we were in good hands every step of the way and the team was responsive to any concerns or questions we had even after closing.

The whole experience was easy and smooth. We really enjoyed working with our sales consultant CJ and our construction manager, Justin. They were both very helpful and warm :) Pulte made it easy even after we got the house by having structure for setting up internet and smart home apps.
