We really like our new home. The only exception is the insufficiency of the insulation, both exterior & interior. Cold air from the outside & lack of privacy with interior walls. We think that insulation should have been more robust.

Overall a good experience and look forward to enjoying many years in our new home.

Some of the subcontractors could be more careful: 1. Contractor who installed the pedestals (the utility access boxes) needs to buy a level. They are all crooked. If the landscaper messed them up, they should fix them. 2. Contractor who installed the electric meter on the side of the house. Many are not level.

It has been really smooth working with Pulte during the purchase. Everyone (sales, mortgage, title company, field manager...) we worked with was very good at answering our questions. Unfortunately our basement started leaking water several weeks after we moved in. Reported the problem to the warranty team 3 weeks ago, but still waiting for a response to schedule the repair.

We love our home. Working through several final details/issues has been sucessfull so far, I never give 5 star ratings on anything as a rule, this is sure close ;) Built a house prior to this, which was a nightmare, what a difference, in a good way, this time.

Build fast

Pulte builds homes in a factory, but the fit and finish is done by local craftsmen. Some are very good, others are not as good. Fortunately, Pulte is very responsive to fix any issues, but the buyer must do the work of identifying and listing problems. An inspector is helpful to look for major faults, but things like painting errors require careful examination by the buyer. Do not blow that off!!

We are seniors and passing thru health issues our needs are 5 minutes away here at Pulte Homes...and the their staff from upfront office to construction managers are all doing their best..polite and understanding our senior issues...more powers to you...

Good quality home though finishing touches need improvement. Sloppy paintwork, and grouting in places. For the size and location of the home, I consider the home good value though I wish the price included a few major ticket items (e.g. refrigerator, washer/dryer, finished garage walls).

Overall the experience was fine with few problems, most, though not all of them were addressed quickly.

I love the floor plan .

Couple of things wrong do to miscommunication

Post office installed the mail towers and not have mail box in front of each house anymore. Pulte assigned the mailbox far away from my house even there are three mail towers by my house. When I choose the lot, the mailbox location was included under the decision. However, this becomes a problem, pulte construction team, home association, post office, all kicked me here and there. None of them plan to solve the problem. I believe HOA is responsible for this.

New buyers will make their own discoveries. Office people were superior, very helpful and field managers were helpful, but some construction and material was not not what I expected from a Pulte build.

Quality of construction is not that great. It looks like the team is in a hurry to get the project completed and move on to a new one. Response to issues is very slow and things promised to be taken care of have not been addressed.

Overall good experience. Not responsive to small issues. That part is disappointing.

If you can't afford a custom home, then Pulte is not a bad option. The quality of the workmanship and materials is poor but no worse than other builders in the same price range (and superior to older construction). We found everyone we worked with to be generally trustworthy and responsive. Some people that we worked with were very customer-service oriented while others were not. Overall, we are happy with our home. It looks nice and is in a great location.

Not a bad experience. Two things we have learned from this experience. 1. Check all options during de building process. Make sure the selection and material a correct, you have to see them in person. We chose to upgrade a zero-VOC paint. The field manager told us the paint is what we choose during the building process, but on the closing day, we found out that it is not the case, they used a different paint with the same color. You have to see the material in person to be sure, do not trust what they say in the email. 2. Make sure all issues are fixed before closing. We were told they will fix exterior issues we found in the inspection after 1 week of closing. But no one showed up after 1 month and the response becomes extremely slow. The buying was ok, the arrangement of the washer and dryer was not resolved.very disappointed

We recently moved into our newly constructed home and while we’re happy to finally be in the space, our overall experience with the construction process was mixed. While the house itself has good bones and we’re excited to make it our own, several things were left unfinished or missing at the time of closing. It was clear that the team rushed to meet the closing date, which unfortunately came at the expense of quality and completeness. These were details we expected to be handled before we moved in, and having to follow up afterward has been frustrating. One of the biggest issues has been the condition of the driveway, which was delivered in an extremely poor state—cracked, uneven, and clearly not up to standard. We’ve been told this will be addressed by insurance a couple of months after move-in, but in the meantime it’s been an eyesore and a source of stress. Another disappointment was the conduct of the construction manager. Due to some miscommunication between our side and his, instead of working with us to clarify and resolve things, he responded in a way that came off as unprofessional and dismissive. As homeowners investing a great deal into this process, we expected more respectful and transparent communication. To their credit, the team has acknowledged some of the issues and is taking steps to resolve them. We’re hopeful that, once everything is finally completed and corrected, we’ll be able to fully enjoy our new home—but the process to get there has not been as smooth or respectful as it should have been. ... I trust Davor to do his best and provide a high quality experience, and I have zero complaints about his aspect of the home buying experience. Naseem on the other hand was difficult to interact with, did not follow through, did not provide accurate information and was not appropriately responsive. I am not the only individual in our neighborhood that has this opinion, and I truly think that he needs to be better trained if he is to remain. I do not normally voice complaints, but working with him did not benefit my experience at all.

We had a great experience with our salesperson Marissa. The house is ok but we are not impressed with the materials and built quality. Responses to issues have not been so great after closing day, we still have pending issues that we are waiting to get solved for a month.

Make sure the future homebuyers know up front that they will be responsible for the sprinkler system water and get it in writing . Also give the homeowners more time than an hour to inspect the outside/inside of property during celebration tour. Both myself/spouse and pulte manager missed a lot of flaws. Basically this tour was rushed. Even the closing day too!!

Our Pulte sales lead was a breath of fresh air. Her business and new home acumen exceeded all expectations. Marissa followed up on all sales, design and new home questions. A very kind and professional approach. This was our 8th new home and ranked as one of the lowest in home construction. We bought multiple upgrades on just about all materials. The product was what we had hoped for, unfortunately the the finish installation was poor and second rate in some instances. Among the worst was paint, drywall and electrical. Too many items to list and comment on. Since our move in, we have had several warranty calls and follow up on multiple issues. Mike and his warranty team have done a great job following up with timely responses and service calls to address some of the issues. We love our home, floor plan and neighborhood. We love it here. So grateful and lucky we landed with an outstanding sales person. Just wish your fit and finish was up to the standards and quality stated in all your brochures and advertisements. Great experience with the on-site sales rep. The construction team was great until we closed. The walk through provided very little information regarding maintenance and features of the home. Some items were not finished by closing and the follow through with those items has been disappointing. Warranty has been dismal. I submitted a request early to take care of a leak as well as a few other items. Thankfully, due to my own persistence, the leak was repaired. There is now holes in the drywall that needs to be repaired and I still have not heard from the warranty rep for my area. It’s been nearly two months since my initial request!
