A lot of materials look/feel cheap, and had a lot of difficulty getting responses on issues.

Our experience with Sales and Project Manager was excellent. Pulte built a quality home with emphasis on energy conservation and final finishes. Picking from the Pulte catalog of build options allowed us to specify a home which reflected our needs and wants.

Overall, the experience was below average. Everything felt rushed, a lot of small details werent explained. When doing walk through, there were too many paint jobs not done, material not yet built and after closing found some main house items missed such as drainage systems. Also leaks in basement which had to work through warranty for weeks to get done even though it was mistake from start. There are still bunch of chips and marks on walls after closing but too much to report and not worth the hassle. Built quickly, but suggest more emphasis be placed on built well

As first time new construction homebuyers, this was definitely a less than average experience. Unfortunately, the way the homebuying experience finished is what was the most disappointing. There was a strong lack of communication and a lack of attention to details. Here are just a few of those details missed. 1)There was a missing filler piece where the dishwasher was supposed to go which delayed our dishwasher install 2 weeks. 2)The brick on the exterior of the house was promised to be cleaned, but never was despite several emails and calls to the construction manager, Kirk. The way the brick was left upon completion was unacceptable and the fact that it was never cleaned properly (even though stated it would be) was just flat out frustrating. The brick is still not cleaned to date. 3) Our vent hood in the cabinet above the microwave was also never installed when we closed. Again, we were told by the Construction Manager, Kirk, that this would get taken care of. After several emails and follow-ups on when this would happen, it finally was completed 3 weeks after we moved in. My wife and I were very disappointed in the lack of urgency or what seemed to be a level of care that was shown after we closed. The kicker is that when we went through the final walkthrough before our closing, it was noted that ALL these things needed to be addressed, but it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to address the things they knew they needed to fix! It was also interesting that in the other part of the subdivision, there was another builder that was also building homes, and one of our vendors that we used for our back patio commented to us that the other builder seemed to pay closer attention to the details more and their workmanship especially on the exterior was much cleaner. I mean there are other houses that are surrounding us where their brick appears to be cleaned properly so I'm not exactly sure why ours is one of the ones that look very unprofessionally done. Our experience leading up to the last few weeks before closing was fairly good, but ever since then it has definitely been less than average which left a sour taste in our mouth and kind of wished we had explored what the other builder was offering. I guess the grass is always greener, but the just the lack of communication and delivering on what was promised was what really disappointed us in the end. These were easy things that could be fixed, and we didn't feel like we were shown any level of care, not sure if it's because we were younger homebuyers or what, but definitely something that affected our opinion of Pulte as a company. Pulte make good houses, value for money.

Overall experience was ok. I think there was a lack of communication. Many things like the lot plan, the home orientation should be reviewed with the buyers and did not until it was to late. At the end you were stuck with what was provided. There were many issues that were found out only because I had an inspection done two months after closing. One of the major issues was the gas leak from the gas lines to the furnace. Lack of care and lack of cleanliness were demonstrated throughout. At the end the overall experience was ok. My first home in 2006 was with Pulte and I can tell you my experience with Pulte from 2006 and in 2022 are quite in stark difference. Pulte Mortgage itself is very horrible to deal with. I never had such a bad experience getting mortgage with Pulte. Even the manager had to set me up with an outside banker as he understood how bad Pulte Mortgage is. I also don't appreciate new vent system with Pulte. They are made of cheap plastic pipes which in turn will get worst eventually. This will be my last purchase with Pulte. No more and never again.

The buying experience was good, but there wasn't any introduction to my home

Our sales agent was great she is the only person I could count on. She kept the deal together when the site manager and construction crews were screwing up the build. I could not believe or count on a single word said by anyone else. Starting with the plumbing right down to forgetting the brick on the facade. Issues were clearly visible and workmanship poor. Stone work was done 3 times and still looks bad. I beam columns off level. Crooked walls, fit and finish were poor. Poor siding trim work. Delayed closing multiple times to get items corrected before I would close. Post move in has been no better. Shutters falling off, wrong thermostate was installed. Floors bounce, Yard service is poor. Lawn crews scalp the yards because of poor grading, trees and plants are dying. Worst decision I have ever made in 63 yeas was to buy Pulte. Avoid at all cost. I will be working on this house myself to fix it and make it right. That is a shame on a $550,000 house. Pulte Homes motto should be PROFIT OVER QUALITY. I am not alone in this thought. ... More

We have had a great experience building with Pulte. I gave 4/5 stars for the value because the selections given were not top quality and I wish that they had better selections available for home buyers.

The personnel at Pulte were a pleasure to work with. They were all knowledgeable, helpful and responsive. I like the way the home was built. This is my fourth new home build, my first home build with Pulte and the most enjoyable experience. There is no home build out there that is cheap. There was other value put into the home whose cost could easily be dismissed. In our case, stove dishwasher, microwave, lawn, sprinkler and landscape were included. Because of their size, build delays were minimal and still delivered as promised.

Poor response from build manager. Lot of finishing issues and unanswered in walkthrough. Quality is not as promised.

After we moved into the condo, we have experienced 1. two gas leaks 2. window water leaks 3. Shower sink leaks 4. missing part for the dish washer - customer care manager said he would give us the part but never did. 5. multiple dents in the garage floor - customer care said it's not a warrantable item. 6. hard to remove window stain - had to dissemble the window ourselves and clean 7. touch up paints so bad we will have to re-paint multiple walls 8. charge us an item on the contract($200) which is never done. Opened a work order more than 1 month ago, still no one has contacted us to schedule the fix. Overall experience with Pulte is pretty bad. The entire process was rushed from picking a homesite (sketchy) to picking which floor plan. Then we were rushed to close with things that were not completed to my standards.

We were very excited to be building our first home. As we love our house the journey to get the project done wasn’t t as exciting. The biggest area we felt needed more attention was communication. We were told we would have weekly emails and updates and that never took place. We took it upon ourselves to reach out for updates or answers. We then just made it a point it drive to the house 2 times a week to see what was taking place ourselves. As with any projects we knew problems would happen but for what ever reason when it came to solving as buyers we weren’t part of any of the decision making, some of which made changes to our layout. Don't BUY!!!! Very poor quality and they don't care. They promise the world and nothing but problems. Still waiting for things to get fixed.....no follow up on anything. I upgraded everything and the upgrades are cheap!!!!!! I can't imagine how cheap the standard items are. NOT WORTH THE COST AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

During the build process everyone was easy to work with and responsive. Then we moved in and things changed. Leaky pipes, broken supply vents, missing vent for the over the stove microwave are all things that should have been right before closing but weren't. Now, the construction crew ignores us. We're told to contact the warranty department, who tells us it will be taken care of but nothing happens. The items needing fixing are small, but the hassle of getting them fixed are very annoying. I am happy about the plan. But, Quality of workmanship & materials can be improved. I would expect it should be high grade as a national level builder. The wood on the floor has squeaking sounds and it is not flat around the floor. The construction manager says" no home is perfect" before you signs the home closing.

Home has multiple issues that still have not been corrected. Multiple people will call and be in touch but work still has not got done. Def not worth the price that was paid. Completely unsatisfied at this pointe and very disappointed.

Our experience was smooth with pulte. they helped walk you through every step of the way.

I am so happy to have had my first home purchase with Pulte! Jason and the entire safe were amazing. Jason was the absolute best and the most patient. He answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable. Feeling really grateful and am so excited I made this decision.

It's a great house. Our family like very much.
