Although we are very happy with the house and floor plan, however, during the building process we feel the contractors did not pay attention to detail, and many jobs were completed in a sloppy manner. As a result, we needed to do a lot of clean-up upon moving in, which we didn't expect with a brand new home.

Pulte Sales persons won’t allow any customization like adding window or removing unwanted features. Frankly I had a very high expectation from pulte in quality and craftsmanship. But I am disappointed with craftsmanship as I saw various abnormalities in finishing process. Literally u need to check everything for your house. I don’t know if pulte has a quality team to verify after finishing. Why a customer need to go wall by wall, room by room to check abnormality. We are paying premium price. They don’t even cleaned the heating vents and not pressure washed my house after construction and doors has uneven gaps at the bottom. need to ask everything for them to do their job. ... More

Built a townhome with Pulte and the process was pretty average across what to expect for a home buying/building experience. It looks great at first but be prepared to notice issues shortly after. Only 2 months into living in a new space and already have a list formed for warranty items. I couldn't imagine living here for ore than 10 years without things starting to fall apart but it is great for a short term home idea.

The overall finish of the house might be very poor if you do not pay the upgrades that cost a fortune!! Slab 5X10 in the backyard - cannot even put a table with 4 chairs!! Frustrating and disappointed!

The process of obtaining a mortgage was tedious. There was a lot of back and forth . Even asked for a US currency income whenever my husband was recurving a Canadian currency pension. All they have to do was convert it to US but instead called us several times that it has to be in US. After our closing time and we were supposed to move in, our moving truck has to park outside the house because there was something else they have to fix before it will sign off that whatever they fix is ok. We have pay extra time because of the wait. We had 2 moving trucks waiting to unload our stuff. Constructions workers cars/ trucks remained parked in front when the moving trucks are trying to park. They should clear the area when someone is moving ..We weren’t aware too prior to purchase that we will paying for our garbage service separately. We thought it was included in our HOA fee.. ... I was so impressed with Pulte construction quality by seeing my friend's home, but I don't see that level of quality in my home building process. So sorry to say this but I am so honest about it.

The cleanliness upon closing was terrible. Workmanship on certain things is low in quality. For example, paint, trim boards look like they have been chewed on, paint dripped on grout, stains on tile that I can’t get off, entry door in garage has many dings in the metal, cement from filling beam pockets fell all over floor. Took hours to chisel it off floor. I’m sorry but that’s not quality workmanship for what we paid for the house.

Better take your time and effort to review everything, inch by inch of your entire new house. After closing you’re on you own. Repair service is slow as never expected CS manager feels like is giving you a favor or doing a courtesy order sending the repair team. Enjoy your new experience

The workmanship on the condo that I purchased really are disappointing. Especially details in painting, the line between two tones, some basic standard and guideline of clear and clean cutline between areas, with tape for instance, were not followed. Every time I look at the those mess area and lines, I couldn't help believing that if an ammeter like me could do a better job.

As first time new construction homebuyers, this was definitely a less than average experience. Unfortunately, the way the homebuying experience finished is what was the most disappointing. There was a strong lack of communication and a lack of attention to details. Here are just a few of those details missed. 1)There was a missing filler piece where the dishwasher was supposed to go which delayed our dishwasher install 2 weeks. 2)The brick on the exterior of the house was promised to be cleaned, but never was despite several emails and calls to the construction manager, Kirk. The way the brick was left upon completion was unacceptable and the fact that it was never cleaned properly (even though stated it would be) was just flat out frustrating. The brick is still not cleaned to date. 3) Our vent hood in the cabinet above the microwave was also never installed when we closed. Again, we were told by the Construction Manager, Kirk, that this would get taken care of. After several emails and follow-ups on when this would happen, it finally was completed 3 weeks after we moved in. My wife and I were very disappointed in the lack of urgency or what seemed to be a level of care that was shown after we closed. The kicker is that when we went through the final walkthrough before our closing, it was noted that ALL these things needed to be addressed, but it was like pulling teeth trying to get them to address the things they knew they needed to fix! It was also interesting that in the other part of the subdivision, there was another builder that was also building homes, and one of our vendors that we used for our back patio commented to us that the other builder seemed to pay closer attention to the details more and their workmanship especially on the exterior was much cleaner. I mean there are other houses that are surrounding us where their brick appears to be cleaned properly so I'm not exactly sure why ours is one of the ones that look very unprofessionally done. Our experience leading up to the last few weeks before closing was fairly good, but ever since then it has definitely been less than average which left a sour taste in our mouth and kind of wished we had explored what the other builder was offering. I guess the grass is always greener, but the just the lack of communication and delivering on what was promised was what really disappointed us in the end. These were easy things that could be fixed, and we didn't feel like we were shown any level of care, not sure if it's because we were younger homebuyers or what, but definitely something that affected our opinion of Pulte as a company. Quality of final finish could have been better. Did not clean the house fully before delivery.

We were very excited to be building our first home. As we love our house the journey to get the project done wasn’t t as exciting. The biggest area we felt needed more attention was communication. We were told we would have weekly emails and updates and that never took place. We took it upon ourselves to reach out for updates or answers. We then just made it a point it drive to the house 2 times a week to see what was taking place ourselves. As with any projects we knew problems would happen but for what ever reason when it came to solving as buyers we weren’t part of any of the decision making, some of which made changes to our layout. I am happy about the plan. But, Quality of workmanship & materials can be improved. I would expect it should be high grade as a national level builder. The wood on the floor has squeaking sounds and it is not flat around the floor. The construction manager says" no home is perfect" before you signs the home closing.

We have not moved in yet, The basement id still leaking. Sent pictures of water in the basement. The garbage system has not been fixed There are still scratches on the cabinets. Nolan tries gis best

Overall rated 3 out of 5 due to the process or mentoring and the lack of quality in finishing touches. Through the whole process I felt rushed and was asked for information that I did not understand what it would be used for. There is a lot of information to go through and sign that i wish someone could have walked me through and educated me. rather than jsut asking me to sign. Most, if not all, documents are protecting the builder and not you as the buyer so it is critical for you to understand the risk or what you are sigining and agreeing to. Design of the home was great however when it came to the details they are poor. Paint and mud touch ups needed, paint bleeding on walls, trim and doors, faucet handles loose, globs of grout on shower floor, carpet nails come through where you can feel, cabinet drawers not fastened down. Construction Mangers are the stars of the company and are great to work with. The sales staff were unresponsive and did not provide accurate information. Very frustrating at times.

Site construction team was excellent. We were rushed to closing while many issues kept popping up. Design and construction of the house seems well done, however some building materials were questionable.

It’s been just over a month that I closed my first home, and I have seen a few issues with overall build quality. Even though Pulte uses good materials, overall workmanship can be only given 3 stars. I raised my hand on a few issues, and the site manager responded that they are working on it; however no response or actions were shared with me after that correspondence. This is not the service I am expecting for the price paid. I understand that a home is built by a human and there will be some errors, however I expect quick response to issues for the premium home price paid from my hard earned dollars. ... More

Pros: Pulte has great floor plans, elevations and options, good site locations, good community planning and generally well maintained communities Cons: Shoddy workmanship in a few areas (needs to focus more on the quality and not just speed), possibly a COVID driven issue but some of the standard options they have provided before along with their higher-priced options aren't standard anymore (as a second time Pulte homebuyers, our last home we've built came with some standard options that weren't standard in our new home), responding to new build issues through their claims portal is very slow, our experience with the sales during our home construction was very bad and she didn't get her work orders properly organized neither with us nor with the builders and there was confusion with options and the sales price changed twice because she couldn't keep track of the options. Elaine is a great salesperson. Tim is a great Customer Care Manager that coordinated fixing numerous issues after closing.

On time build as promised. Quality of build not as expected. Options cost a lot. Forced to go with Pulte lender as other options don’t work. Responsive to the issues that are brought to attention.

Well based on my experience do not close on your house until you have everything that you are expected. I was the first one in this neighborhood and am still waiting for my driveway to be poured in the meantime there has been over a dozen of homes that closed after me that have both their driveway poured and some of their landscaping. Had I known I would have held off on closing.

Everything in our home was done really cheaply cabinets installation ,kitchen island !! (0,5 inch gaps on both sides terrible job! .For the price of the the development craftsmanship is terrible , walls are crooked;anything in the condo was done cheaply and without the second thought (design and placement of electrical outlets are terrible!!) Steps are not wood but some kind of wood chips mix ?) and not really safe -they are moving under foot( they are not aligned ( basement and garage)and really menace to safety! We really wish that we had more time between our celebration walk and final walk through. Only 50% of the items printed out were fixed or addressed. The very final step of the closing was scheduled for November 30. Our appointment was at 11 and we did not close until 5:30 in the evening. There were over 35 closing scheduled for that day alone. Other buyers were also there on the 30th because they couldn’t close on the 29th. Not sure if a Pulte was trying to close by the end of the month figures. But many people were very frustrated. May want to stagger them out more thru out the month.

Security issues front porch..no sensors on garage lights outside..no follow up after completion..i.e. outside cleanliness of brick appearance..not working with home owner on what they want..i.e. wanted subfloor laid down underneath hard wood flooring..was not an option even tho we told them we would pay for the subfloor..now subfloor shakes when u walk on it..if I am in the bedroom I can feel the floor shaking if someone is walking in the great room..I feel if someone wants an option and r willing to pay for it why wouldn't it be considered..
