The poor quality of the materials and workmanship!

The contractor I worked with was great and responsive during the build, but the quality and workmanship was far below what is acceptable. If you pay over $500k for a condo, the cabinets should not be the same quality that you find at Walmart. The floor has severe squeaks and the paint job throughout the house is horrible. I am so disappointed in the overall quality.

Poor quality and bad customer care

The build quality is really bad. I had kitchen cabinets scratches, issues with engineering floor, interior door after house closing. The workers are lack of experience. I call the pulte customer care department ten times... I couldn't reach any people to talk with rather than leaving a voice message..

We had our house closing on 17th December after quite a few postponements. We happily entered our dream house with a sense of relief and belief as we got this from a reputed construction company. Within 48hrs of closing , during a family gathering, I heard a big sound and water came running from the roof ,making a puddle and dripping from the brand NEW house. Rushed to check but water was just pouring , ran up not knowing what to do, but couldn't find anything, our NEW roof was just leaking. Just be in our place and imagine our horror. Never heard anything like this from any new homeowners. ...

Frustrating and an overall disappointing experience

While the work and communication with Elaine and Chad were quite good, watching the overall build process was very disappointing. The trade workers did not appear to show any pride in their work and their sole purpose was to get done as quickly as possible without any attention to detail. After move in it has been discovered that most of the products used are of poor quality. We are still waiting for resolution on an issue with one of the appliances that was in the unit. Not what we ordered and paid for. This appears to be coming to a resolution soon.

Never buy a home with Pulte - Everything is terrible

They are not trustworthy in completing home with quality materials, my previous apartment home paint job was 1000 times better. Fit and finish of pulte sucks. they want to squeeze as much as from customers during the pandemic. Material shortage is just a play they want to do.

Sales team was very helpful during initial contact but pushy and sometimes misleading at times up until closing. The design process was quick and easy and the women at the design center were extremely helpful. Building was delayed due to weather and pandemic shortages but overall an easy experience with good communication. Thus workmanship was good quality for the price but not completely finished. I had previously lived in a Pulte Condo which I truly thought was a 5 rating - all I needed or wanted. This second time around - I would rate it inferior to what I enjoyed the first time. Realizing that the times now are different with great help hard to find in different areas, some of what I experienced could be understandable - but not all.

There was an urgency by Pulte to close before the end of the year 2021 to meet budget which caused workers to do poor quality work in order to finish and meet the timelines. Sloppy is unacceptable to a buyer. All in all they have worked hard to fix any issues in a decent time after move in. The workers have been super and I am sorry for giving 3 stars for quality of workmanship but given the conditions I felt I had no choice.

I feel the closing was rushed. I was told to fill out a document online. Come to find out the document was my actual closing. I wanted to sit down, and sign papers and ask questions. It was like i was deliberately misled. I did the closing on 12/21/21, I still haven't received my closing documents. I was told they would be sent to me

Pulte is not interested on building a quality home, too many issues not address and lack of supervision. I have bathrooms without the silicon on toilets, showers, overall paint was not apply correctly, it needed to be sanded and then paint, floor you can feel is missing something because when you walk you feel a hole under the floor, cabinets have a lot of cracks and missing soft close, my island in the middle of the kitchen shakes when walking around it. DONT BUY WITH PULTE HONES -THE WORST

Worst experience of our lives changed so much on us. Extremely rude sales team, Kelly and sales manager mike. Regional president did nothing for us (k Christopher son) they all cover for each other. Most importantly workmanship is terrible took tons of pictures. We are re finishing a lot on our own so the house can look of descent quality. Couple bright spots on the construction team who worked with us to resolve everyone else’s mistakes. If you don’t care for quality and being just another sales number buy a home with pulte. I would do a ten times better job running this company.

Pulte should allow 3rd party pre drywall inspection as part of their process to be confident on the build quality. Final Inspection quality should be improved. Warranty issue response time should be improved. Overall home finish is good.
