Built quickly, but suggest more emphasis be placed on built well

Overall experience was ok. I think there was a lack of communication. Many things like the lot plan, the home orientation should be reviewed with the buyers and did not until it was to late. At the end you were stuck with what was provided. There were many issues that were found out only because I had an inspection done two months after closing. One of the major issues was the gas leak from the gas lines to the furnace. Lack of care and lack of cleanliness were demonstrated throughout. At the end the overall experience was ok. During the build process everyone was easy to work with and responsive. Then we moved in and things changed. Leaky pipes, broken supply vents, missing vent for the over the stove microwave are all things that should have been right before closing but weren't. Now, the construction crew ignores us. We're told to contact the warranty department, who tells us it will be taken care of but nothing happens. The items needing fixing are small, but the hassle of getting them fixed are very annoying. Pros: Design, Appointments at various stages to go over the details, construction team responsiveness. Cons: Mortgage options, Quality of materials, promised appliances but not delivered instead refunded old prices in a high inflation period, huge delays in delivery timelines. Overall: If I get a time machine, I would choose another top builder.

Limited options, Painting work is poor, rough plumbing for basement bathroom not laid out correctly.

For the price I paid, the attention to detail of the finishes, paint, cabinetry and trim work was completely sub par. I would expect a much better job pertaining to the finished details of the house. Honestly, I’m disappointed to the point where I don’t “love” my house as much as I would like to.

Overall the materials used seem cheap. 1. Sinks do not have anything to close and open the drain, have to push it with hands 2. Bathtub tap doesnt have anything to control water flow, either its full flow or no flow 3. Shower head seem cheap build 4. Toilet seats are cheap built 5. Kitchen stove and dishwasher both are not functional, stove takes longest time to heat, dishwasher dry cycle doesn't work 6. Trim paint job was done poor quality 7. Kitchen island workmanship is poor quality, its not straight but off, I wish i could upload pictures 8. Pulte should allow 3rd party pre drywall inspection as part of their process to be confident on the build quality. Final Inspection quality should be improved. Warranty issue response time should be improved. Overall home finish is good.

i have a list if issues has not completed and I am still waiting to be completed , and I have reported a couple of bad quality materials

Pulte makes you pay for even the most basic things. Workmanship quality is not as good as you expect it to be.

Our project manager and sales rep were very friendly. However their construction motto seems to be build the house quick and cheap, then attempt to fix only what the homebuyer catches. Some workmanship errors have been corrected - still waiting on many others.

Please do not close on your New construction Property Purchase until you are totally satisfied with the outcome and get everything in writing. Because once you close and there is some concerns that you have or had that where not address you may not get those concerns met, and you may get the brushoff treatment.

The quality of the Lumber, paint grade and paint workmanship is poor. The hard wood floor started chipping within few weeks of moving into the home.

When you do your walk through make sure you pay attention to everything.

The base price is not nearly what you will end up paying. Pulte does not deter from what they know. This is a double edged sword as they are building homes quickly but without variation.

Workmanship is worst and buyer has to find all the issues.. at one point we are exhausted finding issues and working with them to fix it.

The home is beautiful but the craftsmanship in some areas seems quick and not up to par with what we paid for. We are hoping that pulte will make it right and fix the issues.

My experience was joy what I hope from such a well known company. The sells agent or builders consistently didn’t follow through on promises. There was a lack of communication on closing and receiving final paperwork after closing. I was constantly calling to remind staff of things they said they would do or provide to me.

The sales people were excellent. There are a bit nit picks in the house but mostly fine. The landscaping needs to be improved in the community.

The whole sales process was amazing, when it came to building that when we started having issues. We have issues in our home that still need to be fixed. we thought we had a 30 day evaluation check list but that was all lies. We are still missing a rack from our stove and Zack the construction manager said he ordered but that was a month ago and still haven't revived it. I and very dissatisfied with the construction part of the home, and something need to change quick.

I was shocked at the condition of my wood floors when closing. There should have been some type of covering on them.. The mud was horrible and it took me 3 cleaning to get it all up. There was paint on the floor and also on some of the dark wood. There were screws under the cabinets that had to be pulled out and holes were made. the calk on the fire place is a disgrace. The front door had a large gap and cold air was coming through, the garage entrance to the house would not even close unless I through my whole body weight against the door.

Pulte seems great on the surface, but the more 3rd party inspections we had and the longer we live in the house its very clear how bad of a job they did and covered parts up so you wouldn't notice. We had shelves falling over after 2 months of use, our garage drains towards the house, not out the garage door, doors hung wrong, tack strips poking through the carpet to the point they were drawing blood if stepped on, with no one offering to properly fix anything and just add more band aids over top. Some of my issues I pointed out during the buying process, was promised it would be fixed, promised it did get fixed then later I find out that none of that was true and its the exact same as it was before. All they care about now is money, not quality, or making good homes. Most of the contractors don't show any pride in their work, and its clear that instead of getting a slightly better contractor, Pulte just hopes you don't notice. We were pleased with initial construction but concerns after closing have been difficult to get resolved. Has required multiple requests, multiple follow ups, multiple submissions of texts, emails & Pulte website service forms, promises to get back to us in two business days but receive no response.

Overall we like the lay out and lot of the house. Craftsmanship of drywall, paint and ceiling is poor. Responsiveness is poor after closing. Lots of promises but slow response, if any, with follow through.

Pulte lacks craftsmanship when it comes to being a national builder, possibly due to outsourcing the various build jobs to cheaper unknown contrators without proper quality checks in place. To be more specific, the drywall and brick work was noticeably degraded and imprecise. Drywalls were crooked, lumpy and off by few inches around every wall, post, pillar, ceiling and window area. Bricks were misaligned and chipped all over. Pulte windows seem to be of the cheapest quality. Others areas of the construction were acceptable. The upgrade options are heavily overpriced, almost 2-3 folds, when compared to what those items sell for in the market. To sum it up, I would rate them a below average builder since Pulte is just a rubber stamp and the actual work is carried out my multiple small scale contracting companies. ... More
