On each stage it was bad experience with Pulte starting from Sales Team, Pulte Design Center and Construction quality and standard. Worst part is big brand Pulte can construct Sleight walls.

quality wise there is lot to improvise for the price of the home or you can ask 10-15% more of the price so that customer gets quality product.

I am not pleased with the way Pulte is handling my concerns. For starters I'm going to start with my sod and sprinkler situation that I paid $6,000 for. My sod and sprinkler system could not be installed because my soil had not been final graded. So I reached out to the field manager of Pulte for my community to find out when would my final grade be done so my sod could be laid down. so in the midst of waiting for my final grade to be done it was brought to my attention that my sump pump was not completely installed they had the pipe coming out of the side of my house but not running into ...

4 1/2 months after closing I still do not have my irrigation system or yard installed. Horrible customer service full of threats, but they do not follow through on anything that they commit to. I used Pulte Title and they did not pay the insurance at closing, although they say the check must have been lost in the mail. I will never buy another Pulte home. STAY AWAY!!!

We love the floorplan and design of our new home. Unfortunately, there has been one significant issue after another since our closing. The lack of response and attentiveness to major issues (flooding due to improper appliance installation requiring the replacement of our entire kitchen wood floors in the first week, electrical systems melting due to improper fireplace installation, front porch requiring complete demolition and re-pouring of concrete just to name a few) has left us shocked. Our sales representative Kevin was absolutely amazing. He will accomplish great things. Can’t say the same for the quality of workmanship. Having an inexperienced eye for construction I put my faith in the construction crew of our home. Once the honey moon stage faded (60 days after closing) we noticed multiple defects. I won’t use Pulte again for a home, the price of almost 600k has given me a beautiful lot with 200k house on it. Pulte has 10 yr old same designs. You will not have contact from any management outside of sales person and property manager. Bad documentation Bad design studio that not accessible as per customer needs. Explanation of packages is horrible. Pulte expects Customers need to come prepared from a horrible design doc and select options in 2 hrs. One good thing is their team on ground is helpful. Their contractors don't follow a standards Pulte mortgage and Pulte insurance is another horrible company that doesn't care about customer experience and value business.

Negatives: - expensive option's - base price doesn’t include minimum options. - fraud sales tactics used my company especially with East facing lots. - fraud valuation before the closing to show customer that valuation is more than what than are paying. - cheap materials for the options and high prices - being a new built, i expect builder to cover initial taxes, lenders title and owners title insurance. Overall the buying experience was not great. Right from the time of choosing the lot till the celebration walk there were lot of issues. The buyer is always treated with rude answers. First of all not enough time is given to decide on anything, no clear explanation is given about the land, floor plan and customization, being a first time buyer we struggled a lot by the way we were treated. I feel like cheated. When I decided to buy a new construction house I had expectations to get a perfect house when I am paying close to my hard earned half Million dollars. We were shown a model home that really impressed us and we were also looking at other properties from Pulte and liked the finishes and setup. Hence we decided to go with the purchase and the finishes we selected were more or less the same as we were shown in the model. Had a worst buying experience .

We were rushed to close the house and it’s our fault that we agreed to Kirk and Kevin who are the construction manger and sales rep for Pulte here. Bricks weren’t clean, all muddy and dirty , HVAC system wasn’t operational, AC vent in one of the washroom was left open . Kitchen cabinets were installed crookedly, part of the Microwave Oven were left in installed , screws were not bolted to the oven . Elevation design is missing pieces to be attached. Electoral box was broken while construction of an adjacent house and they never came by and it’s still lying as it is posing a hazard ...

Never buy a home with Pulte - Everything is terrible

They are not trustworthy in completing home with quality materials, my previous apartment home paint job was 1000 times better. Fit and finish of pulte sucks. they want to squeeze as much as from customers during the pandemic. Material shortage is just a play they want to do.
