The upgrades are expensive and of poor quality. The overall construction is weak. On a simple windy day the whole house makes loud noises in the roof. The overall quality of house is poor. The purpose of going for a new construction is defeated. One month after moving the dishwasher leaks water , the Owen when turned on gives out strong burning.smell. They rush through the closing process even though the house ins’t fully done. The basement developed mold even before the closing. Professionally treated but worried about it coming back. Nothing great....run of the mill...cookie cutter homes

We were shown a model home that really impressed us and we were also looking at other properties from Pulte and liked the finishes and setup. Hence we decided to go with the purchase and the finishes we selected were more or less the same as we were shown in the model. The overall project was on-time and we did get regular updates from the site engineer / manager. The closing process went well. Here is where I had issues - We were offered a date by the site engineer for closing on our home, when we requested for another date the sales personnel came back stating this is the date for closing. ...

Had a worst buying experience .

We were rushed to close the house and it’s our fault that we agreed to Kirk and Kevin who are the construction manger and sales rep for Pulte here. Bricks weren’t clean, all muddy and dirty , HVAC system wasn’t operational, AC vent in one of the washroom was left open . Kitchen cabinets were installed crookedly, part of the Microwave Oven were left in installed , screws were not bolted to the oven . Elevation design is missing pieces to be attached. Electoral box was broken while construction of an adjacent house and they never came by and it’s still lying as it is posing a hazard ...

A lot of materials look/feel cheap, and had a lot of difficulty getting responses on issues.

Never buy a home with Pulte - Everything is terrible

They are not trustworthy in completing home with quality materials, my previous apartment home paint job was 1000 times better. Fit and finish of pulte sucks. they want to squeeze as much as from customers during the pandemic. Material shortage is just a play they want to do.

DONT BUY WITH PULTE HONES -THE WORST

Worst experience of our lives changed so much on us. Extremely rude sales team, Kelly and sales manager mike. Regional president did nothing for us (k Christopher son) they all cover for each other. Most importantly workmanship is terrible took tons of pictures. We are re finishing a lot on our own so the house can look of descent quality. Couple bright spots on the construction team who worked with us to resolve everyone else’s mistakes. If you don’t care for quality and being just another sales number buy a home with pulte. I would do a ten times better job running this company.

There was 4 months delay. The quality of material is bad and it is badly built with seams, dents, defects everywhere. The HOA is also awful, not responding to your inquiries. Not worth the money at all!

Craftsmanship Is Very Disappointing

We were rushed to close on a house that was not completely finished. We ended up not moving into our home for two weeks after the purchase so Pulte could fix numerous issues that needed to be redone of finished. Even after that, it took multiple weeks to get other issues resolved. Eventually, we were sick and tired of Pulte not finishing things correctly or in a timely way and decided that any minor issues we still have will be done by us with our own contractors of our choosing.

Jennifer sales consultant only looks out for sales, that’s it! She adds options and upgrades without explaining description and costs. She did not tell us we had 9 days to review agreement and back out. Too far in to purchase months later I found this out. I’ve already closed on house. Our first night sleeping in house my son’s bedroom did not have a register in the floor for A/C to cool his room. The overall experience is poor. Your sales person lies (found the proof now fyi) just to get the sale and doesn't care about the person, the initial approach was with a demeaner towards me and the overall process is full of hidden fees you're not told of until the very last minute. Pulte is worst builder

My first home in 2006 was with Pulte and I can tell you my experience with Pulte from 2006 and in 2022 are quite in stark difference. Pulte Mortgage itself is very horrible to deal with. I never had such a bad experience getting mortgage with Pulte. Even the manager had to set me up with an outside banker as he understood how bad Pulte Mortgage is. I also don't appreciate new vent system with Pulte. They are made of cheap plastic pipes which in turn will get worst eventually. This will be my last purchase with Pulte. No more and never again.

Our sales agent was great she is the only person I could count on. She kept the deal together when the site manager and construction crews were screwing up the build. I could not believe or count on a single word said by anyone else. Starting with the plumbing right down to forgetting the brick on the facade. Issues were clearly visible and workmanship poor. We've called and left multiple voicemails about issues with our brand new home and no one seems to care. All that mattered was getting the house finished by the end of the year. The closer you look at the details, the less impressed I am with the house. I don't think I'd buy another Pulte house.

Great Disappointment

I am a widow with two children I am raising on my own. In order to lower my stress level, I chose to buy a new home thinking that I would have no worries. Since moving in 6 weeks ago, the basement has been torn up and replumbed, the water heater leaked, the furnace/thermostat needed replacement, the oven is leaking gas, front door needs to be repainted and 50% of the laminate flooring was improperly installed and will be torn up. I have gotten an unsatisfactory response from Pulte management. It seems as though the speed to finish the homes has greatly affected the quality.

I would highly recommend not to buy with Pulte homes They use cheap quality materials and worst behavioral construction team. Once you close the home then you will be screwed up. Don’t trust sales and construction team words at any stage until you satisfy DON’T close the home.

I paid $599,990 to be hoodwinked

When I viewed the home at the open house there was a 4ft puddle in the basement. I was told that it is was residual water from the basement floor being cleaned. Fast forward 30+ days after closing and $599,990 later, I have a 4ft x 3ft puddle in the basement in the exact same location. Shame on me for trusting their word. Will they fix it? Even if they do, that’s a lot of money to spend on being hoodwinked.

Charging the highest price but doing the least possible

Don't BUY!!!! Very poor quality and they don't care. They promise the world and nothing but problems. Still waiting for things to get fixed.....no follow up on anything. Pulte Sales misled me early on, costing me thousands of dollars. Low quality standards evidenced inside and outside of house. Contractors show no pride in their work, or interest in doing a good quality job. Pulte construction shows no interest in quality. The build quality is really bad. I had kitchen cabinets scratches, issues with engineering floor, interior door after house closing. The workers are lack of experience. I call the pulte customer care department ten times... I couldn't reach any people to talk with rather than leaving a voice message..
