I would highly recommend not to buy with Pulte homes They use cheap quality materials and worst behavioral construction team. Once you close the home then you will be screwed up. Don’t trust sales and construction team words at any stage until you satisfy DON’T close the home.

Pulte has 10 yr old same designs. You will not have contact from any management outside of sales person and property manager. Bad documentation Bad design studio that not accessible as per customer needs. Explanation of packages is horrible. Pulte expects Customers need to come prepared from a horrible design doc and select options in 2 hrs. One good thing is their team on ground is helpful. Their contractors don't follow a standards Pulte mortgage and Pulte insurance is another horrible company that doesn't care about customer experience and value business.

Great home buy

I checked out all available units on multiple occasions and was able conclude with incentive. I am happy to get what i want for my budget. I was guided in right direction to make correct decision. The upgrades are expensive and of poor quality. The overall construction is weak. On a simple windy day the whole house makes loud noises in the roof. The overall quality of house is poor. The purpose of going for a new construction is defeated. One month after moving the dishwasher leaks water , the Owen when turned on gives out strong burning.smell. Let me first start at the beginning. The sales rep Brian was very informative and knowledgeable about the building of the house and the other parts involved. He was extremly punctual in returning my messages and in helping make decisions on the house. His experience with Pulte homes showed when he answered all my questions which made the home buying experience a 5 star processes. Subpar workmanship and quality.

Builder team and construction manager were very impressive with their responsiveness. Sales person was extremely pushy and arrogant, always thinking highly of himself. Pultes construction quality is subpar, there is a lot of rattle and shaky parts in this house. Regret going with this builder, mistakes were made.

The home buying and the financing experience were good and relatively easy considering that we were buying from out of state . However it failed to deliver in terms of quality of workmanship including hardwood floors , cabinets and general finishing . The biggest issue for us is that even though home was advertised as 2 car garage- it doesnot fit our standard size suvs which is an ongoing concern for us . Also the resolution of the issues with workmanship is not to our satisfaction even though it is advertised as having one year home warranty.

Beautiful Design Poor Workmanship

I loved the design and quality of the model home. However, what I received was quite the opposite. The construction team appeared to focus only on cost and timing. The quality of workmanship was less than poor both external and internal. Issues that were identified at the walkthrough were not corrected. The internal painting is horrific. Window seal/caulking is cracked in multiple places. Electrical Outlets, HVAC vents, decorative molding are crooked. Carpet is fraying. Construction team do not maintian quality of work

They try to finish the work as fast as they can and close the house. After framing is completed, they give all of the remaining work to contracting companies. And they finsih their work with poor quality and the finishing look of the work do not look good and fine. The problem is they either donot have control over the contractors or they are lazy to properly coordinate with them. In the end, the construction team overshadows the issues and try to convince you that the item/product/structure itself look like this and there is no scope for improvement.

Was basically told because of my circumstances, I don't get customer care post closing. Even though I had significant problems with the construction (water running into garage because grade issues just for one example). People were friendly, but just wouldn't help.

Be watchful that items selected at design phase translate to a change order. If it’s not put on the change order it is not installed!! I trusted the process (between design and sales) as never built a house before and found that under cabinet lighting was selected in design but sales never put on change order so not installed. Shampoo niche in baths are not feasible (I asked) due to skill set of tile setters! For the cost of the home I would have thought that a niche and a soap dish would be standard. Nope! Small issues with newly built condo

I’ve had a few issues with quality of materials and craftsmanship. Bathroom door hinge screws all stripped out. S so the door fell off. Two interior door handles fell off. Had issues with water sensor triggering. So A/C wouldn’t work. I’m sure there are more issues to come. Also, warranty work is only done 9am-5pm. Guess when I work??? So they won’t come to fix things when I’m home.

The workmanship in some areas was not very good . I had a door that was dented at the top. In one bath there was some grout missing on the floor. Can see drywall tape Through the paint. Paint not cleaned up on the floor. Woodfloor has some chips in it and was never cleaned up thoroughly With contractors scuff marks I find very difficult still to remove. Crack in a bathroom cabinet.
