I want to ensure I rate this correctly. It may be due to the Construction Manager specifically at our location, the experience was not at all pleasant. First of all the sales agent was very pleasant till we signed and offered the initial.offer but then at later dates was not helpful at all. The construction manager was over committing and not delivering. The higher ups in Pulte were really good, very responsive, communicative, jumped right into our problem and resolved it. The closing title people were great. Like I said, it may be specific to our location..

Home was built with reasonable quality that one would expect from a national builder. Pulte has been very responsive addressing minor issues. Tim, the construction supervisor was very helpful during the build process.

There are so mony great things I can say about the whole process of building and closing on my new home, but I have to say that I have had issues with it being cold in my lower level that are still not resolved after having been in my corner unit for over 7 weeks. Folks - I really dislike leaving bad feedback but, when I say my lower level is cold, I mean it was 45 degrees on that floor with ice coming out of the wall socket, all around the windows and even on my wall. The experience of buying this home was okay. Yes beautiful house and location BUT they were extremely late. They kept pushing the closing date back and back and at the same time the interest rates were going up and up. That of course did not benefit us at all. The people that showed us the final result, Mark was awesome, very nice guy. he was very helpful.

Let me start by saying the Pulte employees attached to the Hawthorne development have been professional and great to work with. Robb, the Community realtor, was amazing! I know this neighborhood experienced a lot of vendor issues for the construction manager while my home was being built and this was my first new construction home but I am a bit shocked at the workmanship. Over all it was an okay experience. The workmanship seems rushed and we don’t feel like it was detail oriented due to it was a bigger company with many units that were being worked on all at once. With staffing changes within the company, as buyers we suffered insufficient communication which lead to some complications with our overall process.

For now the only thing that is bothering me is the front door. The black paint is coming off since day one and now it’s an eyesore. Apparently this can’t be fixed till spring … which is kinda absurd as we have to live with this eyesore till spring !

Building progress was slow with a lot of stops and starts due to supply issues, labor shortages, etc. This was not the builder's fault. Overall workmanship of the contractors was fair to decent - I felt the workmanship and materials could have been better.

This was my first experience building from ground up and during the start of the process I felt rushed or pushed into signing without going through all the features and options the house had. I now wish some of the features I should of picked. After living in the house for a month now, I am noticing some unfinished worked...unpainted walls, poor worksmanship cover ups, little things here and there. I do enjoy my house and don't know if I can every buy another house that has been pre-owned.

Everything went pretty well. Sometimes the response time for relatively low, especially once we moved into our home we are having some issues getting a hold of our building manager at times and we’re not notified of some outstanding items and what the timeline is until two weeks after we requested. Also the house is drying out rather quickly and there are some pretty noticeable issues with the drywall and some other quality issues that will be addressed soon

Pulte subcontracts its work. Some of the craftsmanship is of great quality, others I wouldn’t mind gutting and starting over. Remember Pulte mass produces these homes - some of the work is rushed and it is evident. Once work is complete, they will not remove and start over. They will simply put a bandaid on it. Recommend buyer stopping by the home frequently. Highly recommend making two design appointments. We felt rushed through that portion of the process. Staff is kind and provides timely responses. Ask questions especially at the design appointment.

Original sales experience was misleading on some items. Mike, our construction manager, is absolutely fantastic. He is extremely detail oriented and ensures work is done exceptionally. Communication is not at all fantastic. There should be someone responsible for communicating better with the community and homeowners. Mike is in the field all day and many questions are outside his scope of work (common areas, etc.).

Appliamce s are look like the lowest price ones and cqbinet drawrrs are falling out because they used wrong size od screws used. Third time and seems like it will keep happening until all replaced by longer screw sized.

Our ceiling seams and wall seams were less than professional. Pulte sent APV to address. The APV tech informed the only way to correct the ceiling mismatch was to have the complete ceiling texture reworked. It's been 2 weeks and no followup from a Pulte rep.

Our experience with Pulte has been okay overall. The home is not bad, but it’s also not what I would consider top-of-the-line. There have been several issues early on that took away from the “new build” experience. The biggest concern has been the HVAC. There is often an 8–10 degree temperature difference between the main floor and the second floor. The HVAC company has been out four times, and while adjustments have helped somewhat, the issue still isn’t fully resolved, which is disappointing in a brand-new home. slab floor is uneven, walls/floor moulding/trims are bowed, paint droplets on bathroom sinks/fixtures and door fixtures, new bathroom mirror have scratches, interior caulkings are not smooth and who knows what else i will eventually find later on... quality of workmanship leave much to be desired. i feel like job sequences were not followed (ie, complete paint job first before installing fixtures) and interior door and main bathroom surround installers didn't report any defects/discrepancies to manager/quality personnel. But i appreciate the fact that they are trying to rectify these issues ...
