Pulte delivered in the time that they said they would from the beginning. Pulte was responsive to issues found during the build. Overall it was a good experience to get the house built.

Responses and resolution to service requests takes longer

This detailed finishing work isn’t what I was expecting. We were left with many spaces, shadow lines, seams and some major flaws in our sheet rock mud. A little disappointing.

Original sales experience was misleading on some items. Mike, our construction manager, is absolutely fantastic. He is extremely detail oriented and ensures work is done exceptionally. Communication is not at all fantastic. There should be someone responsible for communicating better with the community and homeowners. Mike is in the field all day and many questions are outside his scope of work (common areas, etc.).

Overall good experience building Pulte home.

While overall I think you get good value for your money, it feels like Pulte cuts corners and wastes a lot of time on rework when things could've been right the first time. We we constantly checking their work and there were many things that we had them fix along the way. Had we not checked for our selves, these defects would still be there. On the other hand, Pulte has been pretty responsive to issues since we've moved in and have been pretty quick in getting things resolved.

Customer care and construction manager, as well as onsite agent are wonderful (Cha, Angela and Sov) materials (except window screens)-excellent. BUT, they should be note discerning of the subcontractors they use-Many walls not square, may air exchange and outlet receptacles not square-cupboard doors not tuned-poor workmanship-I used to be a framing sub-the “nice touches” only take a few extra minutes-I expect better for $445k!

To buy is was very good experience, but now I want to contact somebody to ask questions and nobody responds, don't even respond the e-mails.

Let me start by saying the Pulte employees attached to the Hawthorne development have been professional and great to work with. Robb, the Community realtor, was amazing! I know this neighborhood experienced a lot of vendor issues for the construction manager while my home was being built and this was my first new construction home but I am a bit shocked at the workmanship. Everything appears to have been a rush job and not a lot of pride displayed. For the price point I paid, I did expect a higher quality finish. It was explained that the house would go through 3 professional cleans during the process, however after closing I had to go spend several days deep cleaning. Could tell toilets were used several times, a sticky substance was on countertops and floors, dead bugs all over, etc. I upgraded my main floor flooring and countless boards are cracked due to installation, several screens on the windows were missing, garbage cans in pull out drawer were missing, cracked tile in shower that was still installed, paint sprayed on floors, paint drips down walls, holes in wall/drywall, garage door doesn’t lock, and so on. The Care Team, Angela and Paul, have been wonderful to partner with to hopefully get it all resolved soon. Over all it was an okay experience. The workmanship seems rushed and we don’t feel like it was detail oriented due to it was a bigger company with many units that were being worked on all at once. With staffing changes within the company, as buyers we suffered insufficient communication which lead to some complications with our overall process.

Building progress was slow with a lot of stops and starts due to supply issues, labor shortages, etc. This was not the builder's fault. Overall workmanship of the contractors was fair to decent - I felt the workmanship and materials could have been better.

Everything went pretty well. Sometimes the response time for relatively low, especially once we moved into our home we are having some issues getting a hold of our building manager at times and we’re not notified of some outstanding items and what the timeline is until two weeks after we requested. Also the house is drying out rather quickly and there are some pretty noticeable issues with the drywall and some other quality issues that will be addressed soon

Overall a good home buying experience. Construction manager responsive and kind. Sales consultant went above and beyond to answer our questions.

The closing procedure had its hiccups to no fault of mine. I am still waiting to be contacted by Pulte's outside vendors to correct a couple issues. Pulte has responded and fixed what they could do. All in all, I love my home.

The day we moved in, realized the Gas leaking, water not softening , nails all over pavement and flattened our car tires twice, tripping the circuit breaker and many more.

I want to ensure I rate this correctly. It may be due to the Construction Manager specifically at our location, the experience was not at all pleasant. First of all the sales agent was very pleasant till we signed and offered the initial.offer but then at later dates was not helpful at all. The construction manager was over committing and not delivering. The higher ups in Pulte were really good, very responsive, communicative, jumped right into our problem and resolved it. The closing title people were great. Like I said, it may be specific to our location..

This is my first one so I’m not sure what to expect. But I noticed a lot of things that are not done as I expected.

For now the only thing that is bothering me is the front door. The black paint is coming off since day one and now it’s an eyesore. Apparently this can’t be fixed till spring … which is kinda absurd as we have to live with this eyesore till spring !

This was my first experience building from ground up and during the start of the process I felt rushed or pushed into signing without going through all the features and options the house had. I now wish some of the features I should of picked. After living in the house for a month now, I am noticing some unfinished worked...unpainted walls, poor worksmanship cover ups, little things here and there. I do enjoy my house and don't know if I can every buy another house that has been pre-owned.

Pulte subcontracts its work. Some of the craftsmanship is of great quality, others I wouldn’t mind gutting and starting over. Remember Pulte mass produces these homes - some of the work is rushed and it is evident. Once work is complete, they will not remove and start over. They will simply put a bandaid on it. Recommend buyer stopping by the home frequently. Highly recommend making two design appointments. We felt rushed through that portion of the process. Staff is kind and provides timely responses. Ask questions especially at the design appointment.

Review all the small items that need attention. Chipped door trim, paint missing, drafty windows, squeaky floors, scratched windows, patio door out of alignment, damage to vinyl floor, leaky sink. Etc etc etc.

The experience of buying this home was okay. Yes beautiful house and location BUT they were extremely late. They kept pushing the closing date back and back and at the same time the interest rates were going up and up. That of course did not benefit us at all. The people that showed us the final result, Mark was awesome, very nice guy. he was very helpful.

We love our home, I should start with that. We are so happy with the location, lot, and upgrades that we chose. The floorplan is perfect for our growing family. However, we had many issues along the way. Our PM was difficult to deal with and did not want to help us with problems that his contractors caused (hole cut in the ceiling, cafe light installed in the wrong spot). This led to a lack of trust and shaken confidence in Pulte and our PM. Thankfully, everything turned out alright after we had to fight for these issues to be resolved.

Overall they’re ok

We love our townhouse.
