The Pulte process is quick and efficient but sometimes disorganized. The home design selections have a sufficient variety to personalize your home to your tastes. Make sure that you feel comfortable, before signing anything with Pulte. Our closing was delayed, due to the 5 hour delay with a 3rd party contractor, late, installing the shower glass. (Pulte will encourage you to wire $$$, before the closing date. We did NOT do that.) Pulte closing company acted in our interest, when requested, with requested escrow set aside for trees, sod, water faucet and refridgerator that were not yet supplied by closing date. It may be months until this is complete. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH TO GET A GOOD REALTOR who understands construction and will catch mistakes and email the Project Manager with pictures, etc. Your Realtor should act in YOUR INTEREST and Pulte pays them 2.7%. YOU need an ADVOCATE that looks out for YOU THE BUYER !! (Our Realtors were at every single appt we had. Introduction, design, electrical, pre drywall, walkthru, home videos every 10 days to view progress, etc. ) ... More

Overall a really good experience. It’s always exciting building a new home. Don’t be afraid to take them to task in the little things. It’s a big financial purchase…if you wouldn’t accept a dent on a new car…don’t accept a dent on something that costs 4x’s more. Remember for the most part your new house was built by the lowest bidder. Hold them to task. It’s a big company. People move in and out. You buy expecting everyone to be there through to the end. It’s not likely to end that way. Our construction manager at the beginning was great. During the process and closing was different and much less focused on quality. A lot of excuses, no solutions and no responsibility. A young guy just learning…but still, the one in charge. The best thing Pulte could do is train their construction site bosses with the same customer service that the selling agents use to sell. Everything went pretty well. Sometimes the response time for relatively low, especially once we moved into our home we are having some issues getting a hold of our building manager at times and we’re not notified of some outstanding items and what the timeline is until two weeks after we requested. Also the house is drying out rather quickly and there are some pretty noticeable issues with the drywall and some other quality issues that will be addressed soon

The sales and home design process was great. Our Pulte salesperson and design consultant were both wonderful and I can't say enough good things about Bob. Our experience with the rest of the process (construction and mortage teams) was a mixed bag. As an organization Pulte has great processes and procedures, but they struggled where the rubber actually meets the road in many areas. We are happy with our home, but had to advocate for ourselves far more than we expected to receive what we we expected. I would build a home with Pulte again and I would recommend them to a friend or family member, with strong caution to keep a close eye on the entire process and not anything for granted just because it is promised. ... Other than long time to wait for building everything else was great

Working with Jim was wonderful. The building process was great. Love the house. Still waiting for our stove though :( Sales person was not the best and she kept changing things without our knowledge, which resulted in some of our requested options not being done. Pretty frustating.

Trust the people that are selling the units supporting the units and the other team members even from the processing of the loan. I can't thank Pulte enough for their support, the educated staff and their ability to answer questions on a regular basis through the whole process. I would recommend Pulte to anyone that wants to work with a company that will completely support the customer.

Beautifully designed house with nice features and layout. Sales staff very eager to answer any and all questions. Field crew very much the same. Some delays in getting final walk through issues resolved however.

If I new my brand new home would have so many issues and pulte refuses to accept there mistakes and correct them. We are blamed for poor building and workmanship and they call it cosmetic. Be ware, I should have done my research and never bought from you. You don't stand beyond your work. Quality is horrible

Corey has done a great job helping us on minor issues with the house that need some attention. He was great at helping with installation of late arriving fish wash and refrigator. He really is commemorated to taking care of new home owners.

Pulte have good quality homes I will advice you if want TO have home go to the Pulte company

I was forced to close without issues been taken care found before and during the celebration meeting. I was given letter of completion from Vice president of Pulte with the list of issues that will be completed by Aug 13th. Field manager stopped responding to calls/ emails right after giving me that letter and I am still running behind the customer care for getting my issues fixed. Had a very bad experience.

It was a awesome and beautiful experience.

Overall experience was great! We worked with Drew, Josh (contractor) and Scott (mortgage). We are first home buyer. Things went much smoother than we expected. Everyone was professional and prompt to reply. We love our beautiful home. There were minor cosmetic finishes that could have been better. They did fix them. Overall, we got a beautiful home and we are very satisfied with the investment.

Never again! Rushed cheap low quality

1. Vents making noise and pulte says they cant do anything. Cant sit in that room and do anything. 2. Bath flushs, and shower making so much noises that you hear on whole house. If someone goes bathroom in night, flush can wake others in different room. Bad Bad design 3. Staircases railing making noise, Windows put on wrong spots 4. After closing super bad customer service.

We enjoyed the experience of buying our first Pulte home and liked the option to pick our selection choices.

Our home buying experience was not the best, our loan officer was not much help with questions, our builder accidentally nicked a water line and created water damage all along our bottom main floor weeks before closing and did not disclose the information with us. They have not gone above and beyond to remedy the situation due to their lack of communication.

Pulte offers low basic house quality and tries to push for upgrading. Example, they offer only two basic paint colors including white. If you choose the other color (not white), the wall and the ceiling will be painted with the same color. Because it is not common to have the ceiling painted with a color other than white, Pulte push the seller to upgrade or choose only white. Many of my neighbors including myself would prefer to by our house from Lennar if it has a better locations and lots. I believe that Lennar offers better quality houses, with great exterior designs with good prices.
