The finishing of the house is below average and the price paid for the house seems pretty high. The corners are very rough and not finished as per expectations. Those were not smoothen for a nice look. The baseboards were left with holes; though the field manager send someone to fix those but those are still looking pretty rough. The paint on the baseboards is not smooth; it is still showing the filled holes different from the paint. The transitions and turns of the baseboards are not aligned and shows big gapes. The woodwork on the stair doesn't seem to be done by a professional at all; the ...

Buying a brand new home should have been so much more enjoyable than Pulte made it. We love our new home, but it didn't come without various issues and hiccups. I understand the pandemic has impacted global supply chains, but leaving customers to source their own appliances after signing was not a great experience. Constructions delays due to lack of framing crews also caused us to close at a mortgage rate double than what we budgeted, and delays also caused us to miss the deadline for sod before the winter season. Hoping For Better

This was our first new build and it hasn’t been the easiest experience. We have been in the house almost two months and we are still waiting for items to be fixed. For the price we paid for our home, I would have expected the house be to be perfect and the highest quality - something it has not been. I feel as if once the house was bought, we have been forgotten about. Our neighbors are complaining about many of the same items as we are. We had expected issues to be fixed prior to closing and the same items have yet to be completed. I hope that Pulte will in the end fix our issues soon.

Poor communication from field manager

Communication from construction/field manager just has been really poor that I have to give a poor rating despite all other parts of the process being relatively positive. Initially provided dates are never right and promised dates have been broken too many times. I assure you that these problems are not supply chain related because items arrive on time. The problem is in giving incorrect information too many times over and over.

The details inside the house were not cleaned up. Trim is in terrible shape. The walls needed more painting as spots were missed. Whoever they sent out to fix the problems would just half work what needed to be done. For a $437k house, I dont feel like im getting my moneys worth.

AC leakage, power outlet not working

I moved in before three weeks and within three weeks I had issues to start with Garage door making noise , cabinets in kitchen were coming off from the holder ,big crack in the master suite counter top. Yesterday I turned my AC and it didnot work . AC tech has come and identified that there is a gas leak and AC won’t work unless they fix it. This means they need to cut open the entire home drywall to find out the location of leak and then re work . This is not definitely an exp a first time home buyer would expect. I would not recommend Pulte

Field manager over-promised and under-delivered so many times

Would not do it over again given the chance and I think that's about sums up how I feel about the process and our new home with Pulte. We were made to feel bad when we brought up issues. We were treated as if we were wrong in many instances. Just terrible customer service for the money we paid.

We felt really good when we signed, but once building was started the work was rushed and we felt like we were nagging when we pointed out issues. Now that we're in the house we keep finding things that annoy us. Such as the slightest finger touching a wall will leave a mark because they used very cheap, flat paint.

Worst Service Response and Poor Construction Quality and Weak Construction manager

My daughter couldn't move into her bedroom for 2-1/2 weeks after closing because of a ceiling repair that lacked any sort of management. That will be her lifelong memory when thinking of moving into a brand new home. Celebration punchlist items still outstanding after two months.

Our Home was initially promised to be delivered Q2 of 2022 but finally got closed in Nov 2022. While we understand there could be delays in construction, there was hardly any communication from Pulte on the delay. We had to ask them a status every month and only then we would get a status from the construction manager. They were unapologetic for the delay as though it’s not their problem at all. For every small issue, we were told to look at the 100+ page contract. There were many issues even at closing which Pulte agreed to fix and few of them are still pending after 2 months. Poor workmanship and pathetic service to construction issues

One would not want to buy a new home only to see rain water coming in, uneven floors, cranky garage doors, trash provision missing, appliances not working, etc. Unfortunately, this has been our experience. Raising concerns have not helped either - our point of contact for construction (at the time of closure) verbally assured us these would be taken care of but after about 4 weeks simply came back to say he/she has taken care of all issues without doing anything. I believe one would be better off using their money for other options - my acquaintances who went for other communities close by ...

If I new my brand new home would have so many issues and pulte refuses to accept there mistakes and correct them. We are blamed for poor building and workmanship and they call it cosmetic. Great House on the Inside. Builder Misled Buyers About Landscaping

When I signed my Purchase Agreement for my townhouse, I signed a document that stated Included Features and listed under Exterior it stated that I would receive a “Fully Sodded, Irrigated, Landscaped Yard.” Instead when they installed landscaping half of the front yard contained mulch with plants and the other half and the boulevard was filled in with rocks. Would not recommend to anyone! The overall experience was a disaster from beginning to end. Mark the project manager was the only thing that saved face in the company. From lying to no response from people we were not happy home buyers. Now living in it a month we are really seeing the poor craftsmanship in a lot of the features.

Very difficult to get in touch with anyone during the building process. We also had very basic requests post close that are completely unwilling to work with us on. Honestly I feel like there is a bit of common sense missing on Pultes side throughout this process very frustrating.

Truly awful experience, ran into so many issues that it became awkward to continue to point them out. I felt like they rushed to complete my home and I notice it every day. I had double digit documented issues after I moved in and they still are not all fixed after living here for over a month! Communication has been poor at best. First morning we woke up to a flooded Landry room, master bedroom and walk in closet. Not recommending friends and family to go through what we went through.

Our home buying experience was not the best, our loan officer was not much help with questions, our builder accidentally nicked a water line and created water damage all along our bottom main floor weeks before closing and did not disclose the information with us. They have not gone above and beyond to remedy the situation due to their lack of communication.

This process was entirely unacceptable and unprofessional. The construction manager changed several times, no communication, rushed process without the unit being complete and the people inside do not talk to one another other than sharing your confidential business. They try and make you feel like you have to use their title company and you absolutely do not, it’s the buyers (legal) choice. The title company was rude and inconsistent.
