Customer care and construction manager, as well as onsite agent are wonderful (Cha, Angela and Sov) materials (except window screens)-excellent. BUT, they should be note discerning of the subcontractors they use-Many walls not square, may air exchange and outlet receptacles not square-cupboard doors not tuned-poor workmanship-I used to be a framing sub-the “nice touches” only take a few extra minutes-I expect better for $445k!

I was truly disappointed throughout the entire process. All of my family has built Pulte homes and have raved about how on top of things they are and how much they care for their customers. I had the complete opposite happen to me. They were rarely responsive, did not listen to any of my concerns which ended up delaying my closing, and many things still are not complete and or were not hooked up after the closing. Overall, I wish I could have said it was an amazing experience, especially being a first time home buyer. But that was just not the case.

Great House on the Inside. Builder Misled Buyers About Landscaping

When I signed my Purchase Agreement for my townhouse, I signed a document that stated Included Features and listed under Exterior it stated that I would receive a “Fully Sodded, Irrigated, Landscaped Yard.” Instead when they installed landscaping half of the front yard contained mulch with plants and the other half and the boulevard was filled in with rocks. When myself and the other neighbors reached out to Pulte regarding this issue, they said the document meant that they put the “hardscape” down so we didn’t have to sod when we closed. I bought the house recently and not happy because of the below reasons: 1. No provision for trash Bins in the Kitchen. No one communicated about this during signing of the purchase agreement. 2. Due to cost cutting, corner space in the kitchen wasted (they have simply blocked about 12 cubic ft storage space in kitchen). 3. No SOD in the front of the house which was committed during purchase meetings. 4. Partial SOD in the backyard, no proper grade work resulting water accumulation/breeding area for mosquitoes. 5. No play area for kids in community.

Poor workmanship and pathetic service to construction issues

One would not want to buy a new home only to see rain water coming in, uneven floors, cranky garage doors, trash provision missing, appliances not working, etc. Unfortunately, this has been our experience. Raising concerns have not helped either - our point of contact for construction (at the time of closure) verbally assured us these would be taken care of but after about 4 weeks simply came back to say he/she has taken care of all issues without doing anything. I believe one would be better off using their money for other options - my acquaintances who went for other communities close by ...

The initial meeting went well we signed and during our construction process had three different people represent Pulte. House was built on schedule. Overall awful experience dealing with Pulte at every level. We were under contract for a specific package - after signing, Pulte changed the paint and carpet package and told us if we don’t like it we can back out of the purchase (Jake). Todd and Jackie made this experience easy and fun. Because I purchased from out of state, they were both so communicative and were able to answer all of my questions and sent weekly photos. I was very comfortable with the process and knew exactly what to expect every step of the way. Their primary goal was that I had appropriate expectations set, and, that I would love my home. I’d highly recommend Pulte; their customer service and quality of service and overall knowledge is top notch.

The details inside the house were not cleaned up. Trim is in terrible shape. The walls needed more painting as spots were missed. Whoever they sent out to fix the problems would just half work what needed to be done. For a $437k house, I dont feel like im getting my moneys worth.

Our brand new Pulte home experience

We recently purchased a brand new Pulte home, moved in less than 2 months back and our experience in last 1 month has not been good at all. We had a leakage in one of the pipes in mechanical room which took almost a week to get fixed, noticed cracks on the wooden floor in few sections, bathroom lock’s doesn’t work most of the times and the walls get scratched very easily. Overall the quality of materials used in building the home are really bad and we wish we knew this before buying our dream home!

Robb and Brien were especially great. Overall they offer a very high level of customer service and walked us through the whole process from down payment to closing.
