Master bedroom glass shower door came off the hinges,took 2 weeks to fix. Some doors in the house was not sanded and painted properly.

Overall Pulte is a great homebuilder. The superintendent addresses issues fast. I think the salesperson I had needs to be more attentive . Once the down payment was paid in full... never heard from her again and ignoring of communication from my realtor and myself was frustrating. The mortgage/close process went great! The only other issue I had was design center, this has yet to be fixed with the bath accessories vs faucet package color error

Overall, we are happy with the buying experience but with one exception. One of the cabinets is about to fall off with part of the upper trim falling down on my daughter as she cooked breakfast. I sent an email to the warranty email address. The claim is that they will respond quickly. So far(one week later), no response to my call or email. I'm hopeful that the delay is only due to the Covid 19 problem. All of the other small paint scratches/chips etc.. are minor and certainly not serious. But I would still like to get a small amount of touch up paint so that I can do this myself. ...

Very nicely built house. Layout and accessories are well thought out. For the most part there were no major issues with build quality or materials. Unfortunately getting little things fixed is a chore. Nothing gets done unless I am on top of the project manager all the time. Even then there were several occasions where promised work was not performed. Very frustrating. Pricing of the house is more reflective of the market and not necessarily features, materials and craftsmanship. Same houses in the neighborhood sold for far less than others as the developer was finishing up the neighborhood. ...

Quality seems a little above average, I am not unsatisfied but not fully satisfied. I understand that with new fast construction there's going to be issues. First, had concern when one of our paid upgrades wasn't implemented and we ended up having it removed as to not delay our closing. Beer bottles under our tub in the dirt, then my husband recently went in the attic and there was another beer can. It's going on two months since closing and still haven't received any follow-up call or email from Pulte asking if there are any issues. Our back fence is against the street and substantially ...

Home layout is great. However, during walkthru I highly recommend to have ALL of your issues addressed (and you yourself confirm) before you actually sign and close. Don't let them force you to close without addressing your concerns. Once you sign, their "warranty" process is extremely slow and all of the promises of being attentive and responsiveness to warranty claims are almost non-existent. You will constantly have to reach out however you can to get them to address your claim.

We are lucky that we have a very responsive and reliable field manager (Miguel); we’ve had/are having some issues that we continue to discover with the house and he’s really trying his best to get these taken cared of. Unfortunately, the Warranty Office never replied to our email but Miguel did. We’re having a couple of issues currently- We hardly get air conditioning in the main bedroom while other rooms are too cold. The main bedroom door has “swollen” like another bedroom door. I will email Warranty office again but will surely include Miguel.

No one responds to my work order emails!

I have put in several work order emails. Tino has come out and was helpful but I’m still waiting for several other emails to be answered. For example work order about drywall tape, a hole in my slider where you can see thru the top of the door.

Overall good relatively smooth closing experience, except for interaction and unjustified charge imposed by Pulte sales manager Jeff B and covered up by his immediate superiors. If not for this, experience would have been terrific. Otherwise Pulte homes are well built and various Pulte team members supported our closing in near record time.

You were so excited to get our new home, unfortunately it’s been nothing but disaster after disaster since we have moved in. We received our keys in April, we still do not have a stove microwave combo and it is June. The tapers did a horrific job as there are lines in my ceiling that could be confused as off-white beams. Some features listed as upgrades could be of better quality (cabinets). Paint coverage could better throughout. Instruction on home amenities such as how do you turn on the fireplace? Should leave paint for owners so they can touch up various paint issues (interior wall and trim and outside wall and trim) so contact with customer service is not only reduced but issues are corrected quicker.

It's difficult to thoughtfully rate our home buying experience in such a brief summarization. By far there are more positives than negatives. Building a home is a huge undertaking, and no matter how hard you plan, there will be things that go wrong. Unfortunately those are the things that stand out when asked in a rating like this. My advice, it's really important to be very detailed oriented and go over each step with a fine-tooth comb, and then go over it again. Understanding that life as we know it took a major turn the day we received our keys to our new home (March 17, 2020). I wish the frustrations with of that timeframe were all that we experienced, unfortunately, they are not. Our walk-thru (key day) was less than stellar.
