Wish we went with a different builder. Loan company are scammers, don't fall for their incentive trick. The home has lots of shortcut issues that we needed to hire outside fixers to redo. Not worth the price

Pulte used to be an elite builder. Now they have lessened to cheap materials and 'don't call me, I'll call you' customer service. You wouldn't expect to see the following in a Pulte home based on it's advertising confidence: flat paint (even in wet areas); missed painted areas; door strikes carved with a pocket knife; crooked doors; missing tile; unsealed windows; not following floor plans, and more. At the end of the day the bones of the home might be great, but they sure can’t finish a home. So many finishing issues wity trim, appliance installation, paint, cleaning, chaulking, sloppy work, building materials all over the windows, lack of care of finishing things out of view, carpet pulling, and more. and when we talked to pulte, they blame the trades.. lol. The builder is not worth it.

First they didn’t let me lock the interest rate. Second the house built over a year. Third, the house job very bad, not even quality. The whole house wall horrible paint, a lot of bubbles, they tell me it’s a new style; many cracks in the ceiling, they said it’s the weather problem; upstairs game room the wall both out, they said it because the wood inside is not straight; Bathtub, washbasin, mirror had chips, downstairs shower room wall chipped, they still didn’t come fix it; and windows problems. Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. The quality of the house is definitely not there. The trustworthiness is laughable. And the price absolutely not. Don’t buy a Pulte home, that’s what I would say to other buyers. Though we worked with some good people, the company as a whole is terrible. They know you can’t afford to walk because of the now much higher prices, and they clearly take advantage of that. Have an issue, tough? We’ll get to it when we get to it. From the time we signed the earnest money contract, we were rushed, pushed to make design decisions and then pushed at the design center. The sales agent was useless and impolite. We learned that the design center was incompetent and it took days of wasted effort to get things right (although they managed to still install the wrong countertops TWICE). The workmanship on the house was extremely shoddy. Holes in the floor, damaged drywall hidden behind cabinets, scratches and scuffs, crooked shower heads ... I could go on and on - and oh - not a square light switch or outlet in the whole ...

Sleazy salesperson, zero quality control for construction, lots of obvious problems in new home, no attention to detail, terrible follow-up. Pressure to close on unfinished home—which they do to everyone No one is overseeing the contractors so they do really sloppy work. All neighbors say same thing. Terrible experience all the way around. I would NEVER buy another home from Pulte.

In the first week our house flooded because someone disconnected the drain in the wall by the laundry. We’ve had very little response or help to get the damage finished. From no show appointments to miscommunication. We still have sections of our house we can’t use.

The best part of Pulte is the sales people that sell you on the house. They are polite and responsive. Everything after is a nightmare. So many issues with the build. Everything is broken and after living here for a month, the tape starts to peel from the walls. They use cheap and unqualified laborers sub-contracted 3 times over to save as much money on your build as they can. The Pulte home we just purchased is our fourth new home purchase and has been the most disappointing experience by far. Pulte is the exclusive builder in the area we purchased in. After numerous meetings with a sales agent we were not made aware of some key design options. One was very important and not explained thoroughly. The quality of workmanship on these houses is extremely disappointing. 1 month in and they have to replace the sub-floor in the laundry room because it has a huge hump in it (FYI-Pulte knows this is an existing issue in all Modena homes) and have to tear apart and move a wall because it is not straight/square with the rest of the area. This shows the poor workmanship by the framer. The framer comes in and complains the whole time about making the repair and blaming it on other trades.
