At the end of the day the bones of the home might be great, but they sure can’t finish a home. So many finishing issues wity trim, appliance installation, paint, cleaning, chaulking, sloppy work, building materials all over the windows, lack of care of finishing things out of view, carpet pulling, and more. and when we talked to pulte, they blame the trades.. lol. The builder is not worth it.

Not happy at all with the person that did our walk thru both times. He’s no longer on the job site and that’s great news. There are a ton of things he was supposed to address and didn’t. It feels so horrible to spend so much on a house and to see so many imperfections. I don’t understand how my house from 2005 doesn’t have close to the defects this home by Pulte has in 2023. It doesn’t make sense.

I like whole team of Pulte

I had originally purchased a new home build from Toll Brothers. I waited over 18 months for the house to be finished and it was a complete mess once it was completed by Toll Brothers standards. Very poor quality workmanship from many of the trades they used. Almost seemed like DIY quality of work in many areas on a home over one million dollars. I sold that and took a loss to purchase a Pulte built home. The quality of Pulte is night and day difference compared to most builders that I saw in the local area. The work being done in these homes is actually being managed and the level of finish is very nice without me having to pick the home apart. First they didn’t let me lock the interest rate. Second the house built over a year. Third, the house job very bad, not even quality. The whole house wall horrible paint, a lot of bubbles, they tell me it’s a new style; many cracks in the ceiling, they said it’s the weather problem; upstairs game room the wall both out, they said it because the wood inside is not straight; Bathtub, washbasin, mirror had chips, downstairs shower room wall chipped, they still didn’t come fix it; and windows problems. All four of game room windows are not sealed properly. The garage door is canted; flooring problems…..a lot of problems! I hope Pulte will come over my house fix all the problem as soon as possible! ... More

We had a bad bad experience with this builder they use really really bad materials very cheap. My house was never done.

Barri was very helpful and responsive without him I would not get the home. I would highly recommend him. Dan has been great during the construction process and he makes sure that I am happy with the home. He provides great customer service so I also recommend him.

Our Salesperson, Karen has been wonderful!!! Any questions along the way have been answered in a very timely manner. She’s a ray of sunshine in this whole experience! Alex, our Project Manager addressed any building questions and concerns that came up. He’s very professional and made our building process less stressful. The build quality of the home is solid. There’s still construction going on around us, and honestly, when we’re inside the house we barely hear it… we’re so happy we chose to go with a Pulte home.

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start. The quality of the house is definitely not there. The trustworthiness is laughable. And the price absolutely not. And then responsiveness to issues is a joke. Let me start by saying I was forced to close on this house with the head honchos knowing that this house is not ready the tub was chipped. The showers are chipped by countertops and chipped. Most of my cabinets are falling apart or miss matched. I had hinges the wrong colors. I have so many drywall issues so many paint issues I have baseboards that aren’t even painted yet and water damage the first week I moved in a gas leak the second week I moved in, I’ve got the runaround I’ve been there for almost 2 months and I lack the response to take care of any of my issues to get people. There is a joke and when people show up their responses is that’s not my job. My house is a $500,000 home all day. and that’s me being generous. I have drywall cracks everywhere. They used the wrong solution for my joints but now that the heaters on all of my joints are cracking, I have more than a quarter inch gap in my drywall. My baseboards are all cracking my paint with one little rub comes off completely my shower in my kids bathroom leaks, brown things. I have overspray on my toilets and countertops not to mention my tile. Some lines are over a half an inch wide, and my tiles are chipped carpet is very poor quality I can feel imperfections completely I’m not even going to get into the appliance situation, unless I can speak to somebody like Cabinets or a laughing matter considering it’s a $700,000 home these cabinets look like you can get them from less than IKEA. My doors have come off my faces have come off of the cabinet. They are the cheapest quality cabinets you can buy, which I found out. The manufacture doesn’t even make them. They order them and how they come is how they come Pulte should really take pride in the sort of thing, I am literally looking into getting my plans for my house because me installing TVs on the walls nothing is within measurements there’s no 16 inch studs 12 in 24 nothing …, Pulte you have lack the quality this is my third I’ll be home and it’s just getting crappy and crappy here every single house. Oh and did I mention I was forced to close. I looked at Matt Wagner and I told him that this house wasn’t ready. He didn’t care he talk to me two times and never talk to me again. I was super excited when I first saw the house 12 months ago. But once I was in contract, the employees I worked with at the design center were curt, Zach with the financial department out of Colorado is why I didn’t do with Pulte, he was so rude, and after I closed, Pulte fired my point of contact and nearly 5 weeks later I get a response about setting up appointments to work on my punch list. Meanwhile, I have a hole in my ceiling, my banister isn’t secure, my fireplace doesn’t work, and the lights and cabinets aren’t installed according to the design packet, sloppy work all around the house. My walls are covered in blue tape. I want to love this house but this process has been awful. Overall it was a nice experience. Had an issue with an exterior paint color being wrong and it took a couple months to resolve. Initial walk through was disappointing. Interior paint was done horribly every wall needed to be repainted in multiple spots. Paint spots left on the floor in multiple locations. Missing a mirror in guest bathroom. The master had different sized mirrors. Missing a vent in a closet. Guest bedroom bathroom door refuses to stay open. The ceiling access panel was left on the floor. Backyard lights weren’t installed. The initial walk through seemed like a waste of time with all of the errors. After we moved in the interior paint looked significantly better. We still have paint on our downstairs floors that was pointed out during the walkthrough, outlets in the kitchen pantry don’t work, missing backyard exterior lights, closet vent still missing, attic opening I just closed that myself, bathroom door still closes on its own, master bedroom door won’t lock. From the moment I visited the model homes in this community, I knew that it would be my future home. Pulte homes are designed with great thought to the layout for gatherings or personal space. Their quality is superior to other builders and more upgraded features are standard. They do offer many upgraded options to customize and individualize your home. Everyone that I worked or spoke with were always available and quick to handle all my questions and requests. I highly recommend a Pulte home as your next forever home.

We have had a great experience with everyone we worked with during and after the purchase. Angela was excellent to work with during the purchase and Carlos was responsive to any after move in questions/concerns/requests.

Initial workmanship was not perfect, but they have been very responsive to issues and have fixed everything in a timely manner.

I have never had so many problem buying a house and this is not my first time From pulte Morgage to getting things fixed Missing screws It’s been 2 months and I can’t even get my light bulb that the contractor said they where going to place outside Missing outlets and out let’s not working People from pulte promising things and not following thru still waiting for someone to replace window because there’s scratches on it Plants in my front yard that are died Shabby paint job Stuff in my disposal when we move in We ask for touch up paint one person tells us they don’t do that, we ask the painter the say email customer service for touch up paint Toilet not flushing well Contractor said he will be the point of contact, we called him, email and text him no answer Email customer service say they are going to contact us in 2 to 3 days then tell us the person is on vacation and then tell us they have been replaced What is going on ... Was very disappointed with Pulte and the whole experience! Pulte mortgage was a joke, the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. PGP Title was the same and to add very inept and scary to think how many other mortgages are out there with major errors. After 1 month, NO ONE from Pulte has addressed any concerns OR the major screw ups in construction on my home. No one has even attempted to make anything right!!

The property is great. The community is great. Steve does a great job responding and fixing any issue that comes up and scheduling workers is easy. The sales process is easy and our sales agent Laurel was very communicative. As far as the sales manager, I think he is pathetic and does not return calls and refuses to talk to buyers. 3 times tried to connect with him for big reasons and never returned a call.

Where should I begin? At the final walk through of the home, just 3 days before closing, we walked the property for the “final” review. The house was not even close to ready and extremely dusty. The stove’s hood was visibly unaligned with a 1 foot open hole. In the outside of the house they left a big noticeable patch where they have tried to fix the hood (the hole by the hood in the inside of the home, going to the outside of the home). Electrical wires just left out in the open with light switches missing, it almost seems Pulte has no idea of what its doing. Even the light for the main door is missing, not sure who signed in the “inspection” of the home while being built. Even after months in the house and with all the items missed or messed up during the construction, pulte is hard to get a hold off. No one returns my calls and to say the least, this is been a very frustrating experience. I have purchased other new homes and never quite an experience as with pulte. Would NOT recommend. ... More

Sales and construction and home quality all great. Only issue we had was with pulte mortgage and pulte title. Both caused delays and uncertainty when there should not have been. Even caused us to have a higher rate of 7.25% than what the current rate was. It was the worst home buying experience we have ever had in the 5 homes we have bought.

Great house nice community

My sales person Laurel was terrific, she never tired of all my questions, changes of mind and even helped me change homes when one became available. I haven’t seen her since the house closed, but I wanted to let her know how great she was. The home itself is beautiful, Chad and Joel were really helpful during the walk through and following up on any last minute fixes that needed to take place before the close. In fact they even stop by now that we have closed to make sure we don’t need anything else. We have submitted a couple of things to warranty and they are working through those requests now. Master bedroom glass shower door came off the hinges,took 2 weeks to fix. Some doors in the house was not sanded and painted properly.

A dream came true from the top-notch service to the lovely home they built, Being a first time home buyer they really help me on the process hats off to Jelena and Jonas both of them did an excellent Job. Cathy G

I have already shared my thoughts but ultimately never buying Pulte again.
