Understand normal new home shortfalls, but the workmanship was a bit sloppier than we expected from a large, reputable public company like Pulte.

My experience with Pulte has been below average. I closed on 06/23 and still have issues with wood floors, kitchen cabinet and other things. I have been here over 6 weeks now and chasing building Manager. I plan to post a review on Google so others are aware of the experience I'm going through.

Overall, it is an ok experience. However, there are situations that are frustrating. they kept pushing the closing date further, which isn't great for the buyer. The worst part of the entire house is the paint job, you touch the wall, the paint goes away. List of items were identified to fix, but no one showed up for a month. Other than that, the community and town is great.

Don't be naïve and close before everything is fixed like us

We gave Pulte some slack because of pandemic many items was not up to standard. We were reassured by the warranty would take care of it after closing. . It's been 3 months and many of the issues is still unresolved. Our wooden floors is not flat. One of the gas range doesn't work. Missing panel door. closet incomplete. Bathroom Sink stopper doesn't work. We receive polite response but things just don't get fixed.

When we moved into the condo, we found two problems that should never have happened. First they installed the wrong size damper on the heat (net result, no heat on the first floor and too much on the second). Four days later, the problem was fixed. Second, when the closet shelves were installed, the drilled through a PVC waste pipe. The leak is now fixed, but I am still waiting for them to repair the closet.

No accountability between Pulte and the contractors they hire to build the home

There's a huge disconnect between Pulte and the contractors they hire to install and build the home. The small issues are taken care of in an average time frame, but the big issues, they dance around and make all the excuses in the world why they can't fix it.

The closing got delayed for 4 months than the estimate on the purchase agreement, overall the experience is blow the average

The closing got delayed for 4 months than the estimate on the purchase agreement, the builder paid for the rates extension at closing, however, the mortgage team did not set up my unit deep information correctly, and the title team refused to make any changes, although they are under the Pulte group, their cooperation was terrible, no one took responsibility for such mistakes

Tax abatement and the building quality

Dear Pulte Homes, It is very disappointing how there was no clear explanation regarding the tax abatement and mortgage payments. It is clearly an impure intention how Pulte Homes holds the buyers' mortgage payments and pays them back once a year. The whole mortgage process took over a year, but there was no explanation about the tax abatement system until our first mortgage payment. Also, the quality of the house is way lower than our expectation that our construction manager has to come to fix our house almost every week, and it seems like it will take a long time for us to fix them ...

Wont buy again from Pulte

Bought my home after seeing their model house but the one they constructed for me had all sorts of issues. They also changed the exterior layout of what they promised at the sale time. The date of completion was pushed back to 2 months and there was no clear visibility as when they will be really done.

Quality of build is really poor. I have seen many new built properties from many builders but their built is the poorest. There are issues just about everywhere in regards to the quality.

i hate giving bad reviews because it may affect a business however in your case, you need to change rhe way you work desperately. Once we move in, nothing is fixed by the manager involved, which btw they keep changing every 6 months or so. Hardwoods are the worst, and no one comes to fix it, my neighbors have been sitting on their complaints since 1.5 yrs now. Long story short, the sales person salvatore was great, besides that everything was horrible
