Closing date was constantly pushed back. Issues before and after move in have not been completed. Very stressful and upsetting experience. Not one issue has been fixed. These issues are still in progress ( almost all cabinet doors and draws need to be replaced, front door crack needs to be replaced, 5 trees fallen over need to be replaced, land water issue----that's just a few)

Gave regular status updates. Addressed any issues we had promptly.

Pulte Homes is my first home buying experience, so I do not have much to work off of, but I think that it was a good experience. The quality is decent overall, but for the price of this place, it is amazing.

Our first newly built home where we hoped to be able to relax and retire has been a nightmare. We closed and moved in a little over a month ago and have had repairs done nearly every week for missing grout and caulk in the bathrooms, broken cabinet doors and door locks that don't work. Repairs can take hours for something that should take half the time. We are still waiting for a fix to be able to use a shower since there is an actual hole in tile. We also moved in to a broken oven (still waiting to find out if it was broken in transit or during install and we can't activate a warranty until that is answered). I thought about my response for a while. I took time to settle into my home before writing the review. Overall, I believe that either Pulte used subpar workers or workers that did not respect the population for which the homes were built. The shortcuts in the units are apparent, from the nails sticking out of the carpet (my daughter, my dog, and I have stepped on the nails; they puncture the skin), the shotty trim that meets the flooring, the air filters are filled with dust from construction, the extra holes and bulging spackle on the sheetrock that show through the paint. The horrible paint job and the hassle of trying to get through the punch list. Every neighbor that I have met has expressed similar concerns. Also, the property is filled with debris, old furniture around the trash bins, and garbage that missed the trash has been in the same place since I moved in early February. I plan to reach out to the homeowners association however, it is apparent that the grounds are not being monitored, or again, the person in charge does not care. I am happy to be a homeowner but disappointed in the attention to detail. Regardless of the home being an affordable housing unit, this is still a big ticket purchase. ... More

When I first saw this condo, I wasn't as observant as I might have been. When I moved in, I was so pleasantly surprised. The intelligent layout (for storage, etc), the high quality appliances, the large bright windows, kitchen layout/handsome cabinets, etc. The agent Matt, with whom I originally dealt, was professional & sympathetic to the supply chain resultant delays & very helpful on move-in day.

I love my condo, it was well worth the wait the builder some some time, I had to wait to close but so happy but I’m very happy.

Communication was very good. The team kept us updated.

I would like others to stay away from Pulte all together. I have never experienced such poor workmanship in my entire life. The so called brand new built is ready for renovation. There isn’t a single wall that is even, trim or paint that is applied correctly, tiles that are unevenly set, holes, scratches, etc. I understand that nothing is perfect and things are more complicated with COVID and “great resignation” on top of it, however there is no excuse for such poor quality on almost everything. Pulte should not be allowed to be licensed to build houses in my view as well as my neighbors. This should have been a happy time for us, part of life to relax and enjoy but it is far from it at this point. The company exercises bait-and-switch tactics presenting a well build model to you but when it comes to delivery of your own unit, you end up with something totally different. This is unacceptable. The project manager was excellent for each of my walk threw. Everything was explained in detail, step by step. My build was happening at a very difficult time I was kept informed throughout the whole process

Matt, the sales associate and project manager, Tim, (for the most part) were exceptional to work with. The contractors, not so, and should be held responsible for their poor, sloppy workmanship. There are many items that have to be addressed by Customer Care: most of the door edges were not sanded properly and are rough and sharp, cracks in ceiling spackle, broken window pane, broken window lock. In regards to our upgraded kitchen: chips in quartz counter top, damaged cabinet doors that need replacement, improper alignment of cabinet doors, shelf supports left out. In our upgraded Laundry Room: Cabinet doors are scratched and need to be replaced. In the Master Shower: cracked floor tile and corner shelf, grout fell out around shower base while showering. The list goes on. Our upgraded hardwood floors still needs to have the saddle replaced between the laundry room and garage entry foyer. It does not match the upgraded flooring. We were told the white garage door is temporary and will be replaced as they ran out of the beige garage doors. A garage door needed to be on for the closing. Yet across the street where they are finishing up on construction, their doors are beige. We want the correct color garage door like everyone else in the community, the beige colored one. All the trim outside the front door needs to be filled in and painted. It was never completed before the closing. We haven't even gotten to the second floor to address any issues as we are still settling in on the first floor living area. These units were rushed to completion to meet sales goals. After you move in the last thing you need is to be disrupted by workmen who have to correct other contractors poor workmanship. Paying this much money for a home, we expect it to be properly built and without so many issues after closing. We know there can be issues with a new construction, but many of these issues should have been addressed before closing. The project manager should have done a final inspection without us before the closing and addressed many of the issues that could been clearly seen. That did not happen. We had about an hour to inspect the house before we closed as the house was still being worked on. No new homeowner should have to be faced with so many issues and then getting them addressed. In closing, we are very disappointed at they way we found the house after the closing. We were assured the house would be cleaned as well as the windows, not so. Our hope that is all the issues especially on all the upgrades we paid for will be completed and corrected in a timely manner and don't have to keep sending emails and texts to Rick Semple to line up the cabinet team, the floor team, the tile team, the plumber, etc. to get the issues fixed. Today, the handymen are here working on some of the issues that they can correct. Heating and AC people are also coming as the house is very cold downstairs and very hot upstairs. Cannot use the powder room as it is so cold in there. Rick needs to set up the contractors to correct so many of the issues that the handymen said they cannot do. They are doing a good job today on what they are correcting. As I explained to Rick, I am having major surgery at the beginning of February and need to have as much corrected before then. We hope you will respond to this review. We cannot write a great review at this time but will write another one when all issues have been corrected. The communications and differences between sales, construction management and post delivery support are significant. The sales rep was very responsive and great to deal with. Construction management was unresponsive and avoided taking ownership of issue resolution. Post delivery support is responsive and working to address open issues.

Overall everything is very lovely, but there are finishing touches that were done sloppy!! We will be happier once things have been corrected!

Building a new home during the pandemic was challenging with delays in the delivery date because of supplies. This was understandable but frustrating. The project manager during the build was responsive and provided updates approximately every other week, but as the home was getting closer to completion, the communication was not as timely as I would have expected. Closing dates were changed without informing me; fortunately my mortgage is through Pulte and they were the ones that informed me of the delays. I don't know what the experience would be like if someone had a mortgage with another firm. The overall quality is relatively good, although there are some cutting corners. My fireplace was not installed correctly and there is hardened concrete around some of the pipes and plumbing, and some of the finishing work is sloppy. The front door handle provides no security at all. There is only a deadbolt but the handle itself does not lock and so it forces the homeowner to purchase their own door handle at their expense. The real challenge comes after the closing. Pulte commits to providing responsive customer service and homeowners have access to an online portal to submit their requests for repairs. Unfortunately, requests are merely acknowledged but not addressed in a timely manner. There are several items that were not completed prior to closing and 2 months post-closing, these items remain open. Some are very simple things like providing some extra paint for touch-ups or even just informing the homeowner the make and color of the standard paint so that it can be purchased. These are simple things that should and can be addressed in an email. There are no timeline expectations for repairs and the "on-site" customer service manager seems to be overwhelmed with homeowner requests. It is only when the homeowner makes repeated requests for a repair to be done that someone responds. It seems the focus is on building out the remaining homes in the community, leaving those of us who have already moved in a secondary priority. ... More

There was a lot of promises to enjoy the buying experience of new home. It sure was not a smooth ride. A constant delay, toaany cooks in the kitchen. I had the run around, Pulte mortgage said that the service mortgage and keep it, it was sold another closing, the house was rushed so the company can close in the last quarter, after closing still things to be fixed. The quality of material is not there, I could not add option even when the item is not installed yet. A lot of complaints from everyone in the community about things are done and Pulte being on the board.

A few issues timely response

I've been impressed with the prompt and clear communication from Matt Rankin throughout this process. Jeff McCuster is professional, personable, patient. I never felt rushed. I liked Jeff's patient explanation of the construction process and, with all the delays in the construction world, I am grateful to finally be in my new home. I feel secure with how my home was built. Overall, it has been a very positive experience.

Quality home but final walkthrough issues still not resolved over a month after closing

We were very happy with our purchase. We feel our home is lovely. We probably would have liked more about what could have been added - such as “ we could have known about closing in our deck.

Overall it’s a beautiful layout, but too many issues and delays.

Best I could say, all went well and keeps going that way

The people we have worked with have been very knowledgeable and helpful. Sales, Field Management, Customer Care… all here to make process smooth & efficient. Very satisfied. We love our home!

The house buying experience in times of covid has been stressful, everything has been on a very delayed schedule, materials and equipment used have been faulty, requiring urgent attention from the time of moving. Adding to all this , the response from the support team is very poor.
