Communication is key in the new construction process. Unforeseen delays, setbacks, mistakes, and misinformation hamper the relationship between buyer and builder. Weekly email updates, a phone call when there's a problem, and a communication assistant supporting everyone would help build trust in the product and the professionals responsible for delivering.

I love my home and I am glad that I am finally in it. The sales process was rushed and not detailed, I loved the model and the community, but things change after you sign that purchase agreement. The design appointment was cold and uninformative, way too many things to chose from in a two-hour span. After you sign for $70k in upgrades, good luck if you ever get in touch with that salesperson/designer again. The customer service from the sales end is lacking, they put you in touch with a myriad of people that are supposedly there to assist you, but the minute you have a question, or you call them out on something, you hear crickets from them. This was particularly frustrating for me, as you pay all this money for your home, and they did not even have the professionalism to return your call. The way I took their action or lack there off is that they don’t care about you, or your hopes and dreams all they care about is the sale and their commission. Have you heard that saying “You aint nothing but a number…”? Overall, the company is good to get you sold on the house, but the real work is done by the project manager. I have to say that my project manager was the real MVP on this transaction, he was left with a mess of misinformation from the sales/design contract, and he took it all in stride and worked through every single one of the mangled mess and did not stop until they were all corrected to my satisfaction, I feel that he was the only one that actually lived the Pulte guarantee. There were things that were never resolved, but it wasn’t because of his lack of trying. Don’t let the process get to you. And pay attention to details from the beginning

The people we worked with were responsive and easy to talk to. We got a beautiful home and are so happy to be here. The sales office was great and the design center had beautiful options to choose from.

Follow up on everything and get it in weitig

I’m very happy to be part of this community and look forward to enjoying all it offers. I have made several attempts to have some things done to no avail. I have NEVER heard back any answer re the property grading. Having paid mor fo my lot I did not expect it to be as hilly as it is, to the point of dangerous. I would be most appreciative if , perhaps before the next door property is started someone could explore the possibility of leveling mine beyond and to the side of my front wal and patio. Other than the grading I can wait for my other problems to be solved. Within reason, of course

The house quality is good the community facility is nice.

Overall, quality and workmanship is good, but not good enough for the high prices they are asking. Should pay more attention to details, especially the painting.

All went smoothly with no surprises.

A lot of promises are made throughout the process and the end result eventually meets expectations but there are a lot of shortfalls and required followup to get there.

I had issues with my new townhouse. Air conditioner did not work. Washer water was turned off. Refrigerator water did not work. It took weeks for someone to figure out there was air in the line. There are a ton cosmetic issues. For example, who paints on the wall switches? All the hardware has been painted around. Even the bathroom towel racks. They should have been installed after painting. There are random holes in my siding, because the hand rails were installed crooked and then were moved and holes not filled in. This is just a few issues.

The experience with Pulte overall has been very good if not excellent. We love our new home and the workmanship was high quality. Overall, they have been very responsive. If there is any negative it is that they contract workers who make mistakes which then require they be rectified - which has occurred.

This is the worst quality of the house that I have ever bought. There have been issues all over the house. For the first day we moved in (Friday), I used the master bath shower and turned on the water handle, the handle got popped out and strong water stream almost killed me. We have to turn off the main water control and could not live in the house over the weekend due to no water. Until next Monday, the plumber came to fix the problem. The reason for causing this issue was your plumber forgot to put in the pin to lock the water handle. What a big joke it is. Then many other issues came up for the garage door, wall, floors, sidings....For example the sidings have had one piece damaged, and one piece dropped, and trims rippled, I have reported for 3 weeks, nothing has happened. The siding guys never fixed the problems. We are very upset for the whole house. I don't know what could happen next. ... More

Siding and window boards falling off outside, cracks and tape coming off walls, left over gobs of plaster on stair lights, cracks on stair moldings, appliences all off balance, broken or bent, window moldings out of place, cheap caulking shrinking and cracking, shelf pins missing on cabinet shelves, no sink sprayer or stopper/strainer, gaps in kitchen floor, dirt and rocks all over parking lot, missing weather seal on entrance door, gutter water guides flying all over the place, landscaping full of weeds and unmaintained and I'm sure there is more I can't think of right now.

Some Pulte representatives were very helpful

Seems they are using lowest bidder on the block for their electrical and Sheetrock. Our ceiling is wavy and will need to be replaced (all of it). This is beyond inconvenient as I’ll have to pack everything up again and clean endlessly. I have electrical issues and Buick’s County Electric is staying my dimming lights whenever I turn something on is “normal”. As I work in the business of construction I know better. The warranty department is doing nothing but take the electricians side because they don’t know any better. I’m going to get it fixed and submit the bill to them before I have further issues. ... Dealing with the PULTE Team from start to finish was very professional and responsive.

Beginning when I decided to purchase this home, the Pulte employees have been responsive to all my questions and concerns. My Field Manager answered every email quickly and made me feel that I had a primary role in the building of my home. Now that I am here, I am thrilled with my home, my neighborhood and community.

Ever since my husband passed away, my daughter has been urging me to move closer to her. She sends me link after link, picture after picture of lovely homesites. My answer is always the same, "Thank you, but no." Then, one day she sent me the link for Hunterdon Creekside, and I fell in love with it. I saw it, I signed the contract, I moved here in June, and I love it more each day—the house, the Pulte staff, and my neighbors!

Very well made, solidly built. Is it the finest construction materials...not everywhere...but for the most part, yes. The lower grade stuff is the stuff you might replace right away for style...carpeting, range, refrigerator....those are the main things. As for doors, hardware, toilets....they are good quality and will last. The building is very nice on the outside, very happy with that. It doesn’t look like an “affordable” income restricted bldg. As such, I expect certain things not to be premium grade, of course. What I have is warranted, and things do seem like they will last. I will not replace for style...as I bought this because of my budget. All tolled...I am quite happy and would readily recommend Pulte. ... More
