The experience with Pulte overall has been very good if not excellent. We love our new home and the workmanship was high quality. Overall, they have been very responsive. If there is any negative it is that they contract workers who make mistakes which then require they be rectified - which has occurred.

When I first saw this condo, I wasn't as observant as I might have been. When I moved in, I was so pleasantly surprised. The intelligent layout (for storage, etc), the high quality appliances, the large bright windows, kitchen layout/handsome cabinets, etc. The agent Matt, with whom I originally dealt, was professional & sympathetic to the supply chain resultant delays & very helpful on move-in day.

Get all questions answered along the way so there are none after closing. Stay on top of things. Personnel were cooperative in reaching satisfactory conclusions. Sales staff friendly and professional, Regina. Design Center, Jill was helpful coordinating interior; Gary explain the process as thing developed. Craig is making everything correct the minor flaws.

Overall, I love my new community and home. When I moved in there were minor issues that were addressed immediately. However, I do feel with the amount I paid for my new home, there shouldn’t be defects in the molding and doors and the painting that I paid extra for should have been done better. I would like to commend Rodney, building supervisor, and Regina, sales rep, who were fantastic to work with!

I’m very happy to be part of this community and look forward to enjoying all it offers. I have made several attempts to have some things done to no avail. I have NEVER heard back any answer re the property grading. Having paid mor fo my lot I did not expect it to be as hilly as it is, to the point of dangerous. I would be most appreciative if , perhaps before the next door property is started someone could explore the possibility of leveling mine beyond and to the side of my front wal and patio. Other than the grading I can wait for my other problems to be solved. Within reason, of course

Pulte Brings Home the Gold at Hunterdon Creekside

Pulte has a great design & build team that works closely with the customer. There was ongoing communication and all milestones were met. We had no major issues during the entire process. It took Pulte's Creekside team three months to convert an empty dirt lot into a beautiful home. They followed up quickly to resolve a few minor post-construction issues.

The houses are not custom built but are mass produced using local labor with oversight from Pulte Managers. There are rigid construction practices and quality is acceptable but do not deviate.

Communication is key in the new construction process. Unforeseen delays, setbacks, mistakes, and misinformation hamper the relationship between buyer and builder. Weekly email updates, a phone call when there's a problem, and a communication assistant supporting everyone would help build trust in the product and the professionals responsible for delivering.

The house buying experience in times of covid has been stressful, everything has been on a very delayed schedule, materials and equipment used have been faulty, requiring urgent attention from the time of moving. Adding to all this , the response from the support team is very poor.

I had issues with my new townhouse. Air conditioner did not work. Washer water was turned off. Refrigerator water did not work. It took weeks for someone to figure out there was air in the line. There are a ton cosmetic issues. For example, who paints on the wall switches? All the hardware has been painted around. Even the bathroom towel racks. They should have been installed after painting. There are random holes in my siding, because the hand rails were installed crooked and then were moved and holes not filled in. This is just a few issues.

Building a new home during the pandemic was challenging with delays in the delivery date because of supplies. This was understandable but frustrating. The project manager during the build was responsive and provided updates approximately every other week, but as the home was getting closer to completion, the communication was not as timely as I would have expected. Closing dates were changed without informing me; fortunately my mortgage is through Pulte and they were the ones that informed me of the delays. I love my home and I am glad that I am finally in it. The sales process was rushed and not detailed, I loved the model and the community, but things change after you sign that purchase agreement. The design appointment was cold and uninformative, way too many things to chose from in a two-hour span. After you sign for $70k in upgrades, good luck if you ever get in touch with that salesperson/designer again. There was a lot of promises to enjoy the buying experience of new home. It sure was not a smooth ride. A constant delay, toaany cooks in the kitchen. I had the run around, Pulte mortgage said that the service mortgage and keep it, it was sold another closing, the house was rushed so the company can close in the last quarter, after closing still things to be fixed. The quality of material is not there, I could not add option even when the item is not installed yet. A lot of complaints from everyone in the community about things are done and Pulte being on the board.

My Pulte home is the 5th new build I have moved into, and the only one where I was extremely disappointed with the experience. Pulte does not offer any opportunity for changes except what is on their very overpriced options list. It seems like there are lots of options but most of these are still highly constrained in terms of what you can pick from. Other builders I have worked with were fine with simple change orders but not Pulte. They chose windows inferior in quality and convenience, no thermostat in my finished basement (only 1 in the house - in the master bedroom!), you can't get ...
