Bad electrical and Sheetrock

Seems they are using lowest bidder on the block for their electrical and Sheetrock. Our ceiling is wavy and will need to be replaced (all of it). This is beyond inconvenient as I’ll have to pack everything up again and clean endlessly. I have electrical issues and Buick’s County Electric is staying my dimming lights whenever I turn something on is “normal”. As I work in the business of construction I know better. Exceptional Sales Staff and Project Manager

Matt, the sales associate and project manager, Tim, (for the most part) were exceptional to work with. The contractors, not so, and should be held responsible for their poor, sloppy workmanship. There are many items that have to be addressed by Customer Care: most of the door edges were not sanded properly and are rough and sharp, cracks in ceiling spackle, broken window pane, broken window lock. The place looks unfinished and is falling apart.

Siding and window boards falling off outside, cracks and tape coming off walls, left over gobs of plaster on stair lights, cracks on stair moldings, appliences all off balance, broken or bent, window moldings out of place, cheap caulking shrinking and cracking, shelf pins missing on cabinet shelves, no sink sprayer or stopper/strainer, gaps in kitchen floor, dirt and rocks all over parking lot, missing weather seal on entrance door, gutter water guides flying all over the place, landscaping full of weeds and unmaintained and I'm sure there is more I can't think of right now.

Still waiting to get things finished and/or replaced for our new home

Our first newly built home where we hoped to be able to relax and retire has been a nightmare. We closed and moved in a little over a month ago and have had repairs done nearly every week for missing grout and caulk in the bathrooms, broken cabinet doors and door locks that don't work. Repairs can take hours for something that should take half the time. We are still waiting for a fix to be able to use a shower since there is an actual hole in tile. We also moved in to a broken oven (still waiting to find out if it was broken in transit or during install and we can't activate a warranty until ...

The communications and differences between sales, construction management and post delivery support are significant. The sales rep was very responsive and great to deal with. Construction management was unresponsive and avoided taking ownership of issue resolution. Post delivery support is responsive and working to address open issues.

Disappointed with workmanship

Double and triple check every detail during your walkthrus especially concerning electiical work. You may be told prior to purchase that your townhouse will look exactly like the models. It won't. Models have pavers and wrought iron railings. The entrance walkways to townhouses have concrete walkways and very few have wrought iron railings

Pulte Homes - Closing date was constantly pushed back.

Closing date was constantly pushed back. Issues before and after move in have not been completed. Very stressful and upsetting experience. Not one issue has been fixed. These issues are still in progress ( almost all cabinet doors and draws need to be replaced, front door crack needs to be replaced, 5 trees fallen over need to be replaced, land water issue----that's just a few)

I thought about my response for a while. I took time to settle into my home before writing the review. Overall, I believe that either Pulte used subpar workers or workers that did not respect the population for which the homes were built. The shortcuts in the units are apparent, from the nails sticking out of the carpet (my daughter, my dog, and I have stepped on the nails; they puncture the skin), the shotty trim that meets the flooring, the air filters are filled with dust from construction, the extra holes and bulging spackle on the sheetrock that show through the paint. I would like others to stay away from Pulte all together. I have never experienced such poor workmanship in my entire life. The so called brand new built is ready for renovation. There isn’t a single wall that is even, trim or paint that is applied correctly, tiles that are unevenly set, holes, scratches, etc. I understand that nothing is perfect and things are more complicated with COVID and “great resignation” on top of it, however there is no excuse for such poor quality on almost everything. Pulte should not be allowed to be licensed to build houses in my view as well as my neighbors. ...

This is the worst quality of the house that I have ever bought. There have been issues all over the house. For the first day we moved in (Friday), I used the master bath shower and turned on the water handle, the handle got popped out and strong water stream almost killed me. We have to turn off the main water control and could not live in the house over the weekend due to no water. Until next Monday, the plumber came to fix the problem. The reason for causing this issue was your plumber forgot to put in the pin to lock the water handle. What a big joke it is. Then many other issues came up ...
