We've been trying for years to have a new house built. We decided to go with Pulte because they had the floor plan we liked. During the build process, communication was pretty weak. They were 5 months late completing the house. During this time, getting updates was difficult. When it came time to close, the closing agent didn't have the most up to date paperwork (good thing I was paying attention). When we took delivery of the house, we began to notice just how poor the finishes actually were. Most of the doors have either finish or open/close defects while the majority of the trim ...

Moved into our house for over a month, and have found several issues. Broken tiles covered with caulk, running toilets, shoddy painting, bent window screens, leaking shower heads. We work full time jobs, Pulte can’t come to fix issues on the weekend. Buyer Beware

We love our new Pulte home. The entire sales and construction team made the experience a great one. Keep in mind, like in life, nothing is perfect or without some challenges, In the end though, we are very happy and would recommend Pulte to anyone.

The building of our home and the field managers in this division, Ridge at Stormcloud, have the BEST Field Mangers around. We have friends building Pulte homes in other division with horror stories. We are very fortunate. The sales side of things was a bad experience. We went through 3 sales persons who all told us different things which led to complications and delays. The design center that was used was amazing! Wonderful! The Pulte Title Company was excellent as well.

I am not sure if the closing was rushed, but if your home is not ready, I would suggest you do not move in and sign any paperwork! It has been almost two months and we still have people in and out of our home trying to finish everything that was not completed in time or done poorly. I thought Pulte took more pride in making quality homes and now we are finding everything in the home is done a the least cost possible. Not satisfied with Pulte at all!

The quality of the workmanship and problems/issues within the first two months of moving in is beyond acceptable. Over 40 errors in the home build at the closing walkthrough. Construction Manager refuses to communicate about fixing the problems at 8 weeks into my 12-month warranty. Our kitchen ceiling has had two roof leaks within 8 weeks of living in the home.

Close date was pushed out 6 months. Sewage backups in brand new home ceiling drywall cut out carpets n padding removed. Pre close punch list still outstanding 2 months later. Lack out concern from builder builder.

I closed at the end of July - but moved in at the end of August- I relayed a number of problems- no drainage holes for irrigation, foot prints in cement walkway, hot water heater tripping circuit breaker every day, no lock on courtyard gate, shower doors only open in, and now after rain last night - a leak in the roof of my garage - I am disappointed with the lack of response

A nightmare to complete home

Never fully completed home after continued promises . Always had excuses because of it’s this contractors fault it’s that contractors fault. That shouldn’t be my problem as a home buyer. And I shouldn’t have to make 1000 phones calls to get it fixed after a problem has already been noted multiple times. Multipurpose things also had to be fixed or change because they were not what was selected at design center .

Extremely poor indoor texture.

We were extremely happy with the building process until they started the interior buildout. The sub- contractor that Pulte used to install the interior texture did the worst job I have ever seen on texture. We actually asked Pulte to re-do all the texture in the house which they gladly did but it was impossible to get it all done to a quality standard. We were extremely disappointed that we had to live with the inferior texture but we had to close on our home as we had sold our existing home.

My neighbors have two story homes, and one of my neighbors has the ability to look into my shower from their second story windows. This is a privacy issue. The garage floor has several cracks in it, even though the house is new. The home warranty covered the repairs, though. Regarding security, the front patio and driveway lights were on a 30 minute timer vs. allowing the lights to stay on all night. I had to file a service request to get the lights fixed, when this issue should've been addressed before the close. A Maytag dryer purchased from Lowe's in 2016 was brought into the home, ...

We found the process from lot selection to finally inspection seamless and completely acceptable. Communications with sales, finance and project manager were excellent and never felt in the dark about the process. Closing was completed in 30 minutes, a new record for us. We would recommend Pulte to anyone looking for a custom home for a fair price.

Our new Fans Pulte home is everything we hoped it would be! The quality is amazing and the look and craftsmanship are awesome!
