Ok, but far from perfect.

We expected that all of the issues we pointed out in our walk thru would be addressed before our final walk thru. Instead it was pushed to warranty. We were under a time crunch and we didn’t feel the same urgency from Pulte. When we moved in we were glad to have the warranty though as there were lots of issues that we found after moving in.

From beginning to end buying a home with Pulte has been a great experience. Carlos helped my family and I more then we could ever imagine, the others that we meet from Pulte were absolutely incredible. Gabriel was wonderful. He helped find the house and walked us through thr process. Then only bad thing was at closing, even though we could sign, we couldn't get the keys. This was because of an error that was made. The certificate of occupancy that was in the folder for our house was actually for another house. Everyone scrambled to get it done that day. We had to cancel our furniture from being delivered. We got the keys later that day but never got a call from upper management to check on us or apologize for the error.

We closed on the 6113 Nauman home with Pulte on November 21, 2023 with the promise and understanding that the house was “move -in ready.” However, we received a home that was not finished, poorly constructed, and not cleaned. After more than a month of our closing date, we haven’t been able to live in the house. We don’t have a home at the moment and people are still working on fixing issues that should have been fixed before the closing day. Finally in our newly built home, after a very long wait due to the pandemic and supply chain issues. We finally did settled with a building manager after going through 4 of them, but our last building manager Ralph was awesome. He and Brendan provided us extra personal customer service which was above and beyond. Ralph and Brendan answered all of our questions and ensured we were comfortable moving in. Lisa (our Pulte sales representative) was a joy to work with from the beginning and throughout the progression of our new home. Although there were numerous delays due to supply chain issues and labor shortages, Lisa kept in touch with us with updates via phone calls and e-mails, and she included pictures that she personally took each time anything changed as our home was being built. Slow and Sloppy.

Poor workmanship - lots of sloppy work. Paint runs and spatters, cracks and chips in tile and quartz counter tops, kitchen cabinets and all doors (including glass shower doors and sliders misaligned. Trim was low cost and fairly rough for price. Door trim at front door is peeling away from frame. Responsiveness to problems was slow from the sales personnel to the construction managers.

The quality of workmanship is low and it takes forever for them to come and fix the issues. The materials are very good but it is the opposite when it comes to workmanship and after sale support.

If you have a choice, choose another builder. Shoddy workmanship, no customer support and non-existent customer service after closing.

Pulte homes are good. Lisa and Jorge were awesome keeping us updated on the construction while we were far away. You will need to buy your refrigerator, washer and dryer. I think the space for the refrigerator in the kitchen area is small for a house with 4 bedrooms. So far everything is fine.

Pulte does not pay attention to detail, and obviously doesn't care about their customer anymore and the finished product. We were given the wrong keys at closing and had to use the garage door to enter and exit for five days while they searched for the correct keys. The compressor was undersized and froze up the day before close and was replaced with the almost lowest seer unit allowed by law that they could find on a moment’s notice. It's extremely loud, vibrates and sounds like the fan is going to sheer off when it shuts off. If it had frozen up after close, we'd probably still be waiting ...

My experience wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either for the amount of money spent on the home. I think the construction manager was spread too thin, did not have reliable contractors, seemed to jump from one project to another. Closing dates kept being pushed out and still had some issues that need to be resolved. In all fairness, I did have an in person visit from the Customer Care Manager who submitted a work order for the outstanding items. In conclusion, I believe Pulte can make for a great experience if they could recruit and retain enough top talent.
