Overall construction is good. Fit and finish is ok, the subs workmanship is mediocre. Sink in guest bath not level, front door threshold not sealing properly. Kitchen cabinets are low quality and constructed poorly. Microwave oven broke twice (poor design), use a different supplier. For $600k I would expect better. Design center was not very useful, poor job of helping you understand the finished product and how it will look.

Tankless hot water heater doesn’t work. Been in the house 3 days and can not get hot water! Plumber came to work on it and still doesn’t work! Many issues need to be resolved! Lovely house but not satisfied.

Home is beautiful but the quality and workmanship is low. If they would take the time to actually take pride in their work and not rush. Warranty issues wouldn't be needed so much. Supervisors should be looking for work errors and actually care.

Dean was great to work with. We had an issue with kitchen tile and he was Johnny on the spot

I would make sure that all issues with the construction of your house be resolved before closing on your house.

The Pulte houses are well designed thought through houses with sub-par subcontractors. Many walls and tiles are not straight and level, missing small sections of paint, and poor final cleaning prior to closing (construction marks left on some windows and doors). Pulte did respond quickly to any immediate issues.

For the most part the experience has been good . But we have drainage issues on the side yards and asked to have people look at it with no response.

improvements need to be made. Driveways for 3 car garages should be wider. Many issues were not completed before moving in.

They really could follow up on the small fixes agreed upon MUCH better. I pretty much had to close when I did but if you have flex, do NOT close with items in your home still needing to be handled. You become a ghost.

Ensuring that items that needed to be addressed in a timely manner did not happen. Had to keep following up myself instead of them just taking care if the few issues there were.

We appreciate that we were able to move into our new house; however, many items were not completed upon closing. The builder has not been responsive to the work promised, and now we have to go through the warranty process. Lastly, the builder did not include the option of purchasing a refrigerator.

Shoddy workmanship. Tile is not level, molding around all the doors was cut too short and filled in with caulk. Some of the molding around kitchen island is unpainted. Missing grout in grout lines on floor. It looks like nobody cared about their workmanship.

Great at first. Closing rushed and bad finishing and cleaning of home. In 6 weeks we have submitted over 30 work orders for warranty repairs.

My wife and I have purchased two homes with Pulte about 4 years apart. The first experience with Pulte was excellent the second experience was not so great. The customer service seems to have dwindled over the years. We have had several issues with the home and trying to resolve them have been a challenge. I am not un reasonable person however I expect major issues to be resolved timely and correctly. I would say I have a very difficult time getting ahold of the right person to discuss issues or have a concern addressed. Very disappointing , not very Trustworthiness on repairs in a timely manner

We moved in in June. When we did our move in inspection there were lots of issues that needed to be addressed. On the day we moved in we were asked to wait 14 days to make sure all issues were addressed. Need less to say none of the issues were done and the guy in charge refuses to answer our calls. We have several places that needs paint touch up, repairs on the house and have yet been able to get ahold of anyone. We were told to do a warranty claim. Which takes time within it self. Very disappointed in the quality of work that they "take pride" in.

Overall experience was decent. Some of the procedures needed for the mortgage were cumbersome but that's probably the case everywhere. There were a couple communication breakdowns that had legitimate consequences but they did what they could to make things right.

It took more time to build the house than I expected. Circumstances were a lot different than when I started the process. The house is well-built. I am appreciative now that I'm in my new house.

Pulte homes are beautiful, our was put together wayyyy to fast and the craftsmanship is definitely not upto par. Lots of issues after closing on the home. Yes they fix it but it is still an issue having people in and out of our home. You have to double and triple check all of the work.

My neighbors have two story homes, and one of my neighbors has the ability to look into my shower from their second story windows. This is a privacy issue. The garage floor has several cracks in it, even though the house is new. The home warranty covered the repairs, though. Regarding security, the front patio and driveway lights were on a 30 minute timer vs. allowing the lights to stay on all night. I had to file a service request to get the lights fixed, when this issue should've been addressed before the close. A Maytag dryer purchased from Lowe's in 2016 was brought into the home, and the house's dryer outlet couldn't accommodate the 2016 Maytag commonly found at home improvement and department stores. As the buyer, I had to hire an electrician to fix the outlet. Pulte would not change the dryer outlet, when they should've asked me what type of dryer I was bringing into the home before the close and installed the appropriate outlet. The inside of my garage door has a hole in it. Pulte ordered the wrong part to fix the issue, so the repair of my garage door is delayed but will be completed soon. Pulte does build a beautiful home. However, there were numerous delays, incomplete items at closing, and a general disregard for customer satisfaction throughout the process. Special shoutout for "worst experience ever" goes to Pulte Mortgage Company. Dealing with PMC was absolutely not worth the incentive.

I closed at the end of July - but moved in at the end of August- I relayed a number of problems- no drainage holes for irrigation, foot prints in cement walkway, hot water heater tripping circuit breaker every day, no lock on courtyard gate, shower doors only open in, and now after rain last night - a leak in the roof of my garage - I am disappointed with the lack of response

We were extremely happy with the building process until they started the interior buildout. The sub- contractor that Pulte used to install the interior texture did the worst job I have ever seen on texture. We actually asked Pulte to re-do all the texture in the house which they gladly did but it was impossible to get it all done to a quality standard. We were extremely disappointed that we had to live with the inferior texture but we had to close on our home as we had sold our existing home.

Be certain to go over ALL items in the contract BEFORE the build and ask a lot of questions as to upgrades, etc.

The process was very stressful from having to deal with Pulte Mortgage to the details of construction. I feel exhausted having to explain the stress we went through. It was not a good experience until the last day when we finally closed on the house 11.5 months after going under contract. Just to give you an idea of the chaos we experienced, our house wasn't even cleaned (literally, it's still looked like a construction site with dust everywhere and plastic still on the carpets) and most things that we identified (major things like missing hardware, paint, front door getting stuck, many cabinet issues, exterior issues) were not finished 24 hours before our closing appointment. We showed up for the "celebration" to a fill-in construction manager saying our manager, Patrick, had called in for a "family emergency" and many things had not been done. There was also a crew of like 10 Mexican women that arrived soon after us that started frantically cleaning. I was so upset and deeply disappointed that things went this way until the very end. They didn't know what to do because there was no way these things were getting done before our closing at 8 am the next day. The title company already had our received wire of over $350k. I refused to push it out and they called Chris, the district construction manager to come to the house to see what had transpired. I let him know of our ongoing frustrations and poor communication and follow through by our current construction manager and the frustration of having 4 different construction managers over the build process where communications fell through and important items not getting done right or there being delays. Chris agreed to complete as much as possible that one afternoon and then roll everything else over to warranty to fix. We now have a bunch of trades coming in to fix things that were identified to be fixed on the first walkthrough. In addition, the day we closed, the office didn't have our keys to release and acted confused about us picking up the keys that day. Apparently our construction manager, Patrick, had them and they had to rekey the whole house for us at the last minute after we had already closed. This process was a pile of poor communication the whole way. I never want to go through something like this again. The house is lovely and feels like a quality build. I absolutely love the home and the functionality of the floor plan. I recognize the attention to detail and livability that Pulte keeps in mind when developing these floor plans. I truly feel like I'm in luxury all day. It's an amazing product but the process of going through getting to this point was just way too stressful. ... More
