From the beginning, things started off bad, with the realtor refusing to allow us to have our own realtor; because she is the one who secured the deal. Realtor kept advising me to go month to month on my apartment lease; which cost me thousands of dollars. Realtor kept sending (3x) the wrong construction plans to the city so numerous delays. Construction Manager did everything half-heartedly. Our home had a Guest Suite, sort of like a mother-in law suite which is supposed to have its own thermostat control for the heat and air conditioning; they messed up on that too. Took over a year to build. Poor communication. Poor quality materials. There were rodents in the ceiling upon moving in. Slow and useless responses. No accountability.

Pulte members always addressed my concerns or issues within reasonable time. They never brushed me off with their busy schedule but took an interest any time I called or texted. I worked with a fantastic team at Pulte Inspiration and I couldn't have completed the process without their patience and willingness to see me through each step of the way.

I have way too many issues to list here, so I'll just talk about a couple of them!!!!! I understand there's a labor shortage not just in New Mexico but all over the country. However, there was way too many times where our house sat for weeks at a time with nothing being done, I simply couldn't understand that. During the build process I came to our house "everyday", and they used a large amount of warped and damaged wood in this house. When I pointed this out, I was given all kinds of excuses. If someone from Pulte wants to contact me, I have much, much more to say.

Pulte does build a beautiful home. However, there were numerous delays, incomplete items at closing, and a general disregard for customer satisfaction throughout the process. Special shoutout for "worst experience ever" goes to Pulte Mortgage Company. Dealing with PMC was absolutely not worth the incentive.

This is the worst home buying experience I've ever had. Once we signed the contract, all communication stopped. No updates, no information on when the build would start, nothing. Once we moved in, we hired an independent inspector look at the house. He found issues with the roof, HVAC, and some other minor things. The roof is yet to be repaired. HVAC came out and worked an entire morning re-wiring the A/C unit and thermostats. A/C wasn't even connected. We had no heat, no A/C. Once they were able to fix the A/C unit, they realized the thermostats were configured where the upstairs ...

Only thing that stood out was the last site supervisor (Jason) who was very professional and nice person who listen. He was our 5th site supervisor but thank God he showed up at the last minute. A lot of the buildingerrors were made prior to him coming on

Home was supposed to be completed in March but lasted 7more months. The worst part is that homes that were recently signed took precedence because they paid more money. Unfortunately, for 6months, l was the supervisor since Pulte would not provide me with update and hardly worked on it. Even in some ocassion, l had to contact them about shaddy work and issues on the ongoing building. Pulte needs to be better at choosing the GCs who build the homes. The workers who did the work on the build for the GC were average at best and on final walk through, a lot of issues were pointed out that the Pulte Field Manager repaired before closing. In the end what the public sees is the Pulte name, but if average work is being done on the build, the public doesn't see the GC, they see Pulte.

Low quality with not attention to detail results in a subpar home. They do enough to “finish” the home, but every day I notice something new such (cracked and jagged tiles, crooked pulls, nicked hardware, dented cabinets, stained counters). Given these issues I do wonder about the things we can’t see. Requests for fixes result in a not covered under warranty/ not our responsibility response.

While I absolutely love my home, I would say that the quality of the workmanship left much to be desired. I moved into a home that wasn't cleaned, that had a doorbell that wasn't functional, had missing door hinges, and splatters of paint on the tile floor that I am still trying to remove. I've also discovered that there are areas near two windows that lack texture and paint. On the exterior, things that I flagged during the walk through were not addressed. Our overall experience with Pulte was satisfactory. We started the process in May 2020, two months after the beginning of the pandemic. There was a lack of communication at the beginning with our sales manager, which led to trust issues and frustration. However, once a new team was brought onto the project communication began to flow on a weekly / biweekly basis, and visible progress on our home began to show which restored our trust in Pulte. Make sure on the final walk thought, the home should be completely finish before closing. I am closing on my almost two month now, the paint touch up in the rest room, and 12' wide concrete drive way need to be fix. With many phone call, the problem have not been solve. Very disappointed.

From the outset, Pulte rushed the process. They rushed the closing of the house telling us “we need our numbers” and threatened to charge us more if we fell outside of their perimeters. We were unable to see the home at closing due to being overseas (again they had significantly altered the time frame a couple of weeks before closing). We moved in in June. When we did our move in inspection there were lots of issues that needed to be addressed. On the day we moved in we were asked to wait 14 days to make sure all issues were addressed. Need less to say none of the issues were done and the guy in charge refuses to answer our calls. We have several places that needs paint touch up, repairs on the house and have yet been able to get ahold of anyone. We were told to do a warranty claim. Which takes time within it self. Very disappointed in the quality of work that they "take pride" in.
