If you have a home with on demand water heater makes sure it works properly, Otherwise cold showers. Make sure all sewage lines have been cleared of construction debris. Respond quickly to any water leaks that the City of Rio Rancho, NM, informs you about.

Very helpful, honest, and all around great people seem to work for Pulte. Our sales person Carlos was in constant communication and was on top of even the smallest request, our field manager Dean is still very helpful and happy to chat when we see him around the neighborhood. These guys definitely seem to know their stuff and won’t hesitate to answer a seemingly dumb question or even lend a hand trying to bring an oversized package into the house/garage. We live our Pulte group

Terrible building experience. Started filing warranty claims the day of closing. Not happy with the quality of the home at all. The workmanship is horrific and the "Pulte Promise" is nonexistent.

There's no communication between the superintendent and the sales side. Over and over again we were called about setting a closing date when the house wasn't even finished yet. It's 2 months after closing, and we still don't have a replacement garage door panel. This was documented that this still needed to be replaced after closing. We also had a plumbing leak recently, and no one told us when the plumbers would show up. They just showed up with no heads up. Overall, I’d say our experience has been a solid OK. There was a lack of communication about who was in charge of what aspects of closing, finishing touches, future home issues. Some of the communication problems were COVID related, but then there continued to be issues. A lot of “oh that person told you the wrong thing” kind of situations. Everything that I’ve asked to have fixed has been fixed eventually. It’s hard to tell if this is the experience most people have or if it’s completely a result of covid impacting the business (people quarantined, etc.).

Purchasing a Pulte home has been a huge mistake. Pulte sold us a home that was not completed and a week after moving in the first floor flooded, not just once but twice. Pulte has no concept of customer service, unless their strategy is to ignore your concerns until you give up trying to get their assistance. All the issues we brought up prior to closing during the final walk through were completely disregarded and a month after closing have still gone unaddressed. What a huge disappointment!!

The home buying process was painless, from the design to signing the mortgage. Pulte offers lot of designs to fit your needs and are really responsive to your needs. Unfortunately, there were some things that were not done before closing, and now now it seems I cannot get a hold of anyone. Maintenance workers miss scheduled appointment and there was no followup. I am disappointed that these fixes fell through especially because I was reassured things would be taken care of quickly.

The building of the home and timely completion. We had 6 building managers throughout the process. Eventually Pulte ghosted us on repairs.

The building process was challenging with change of 6 building managers. Last one being assigned 4 days before closing. The errors that occurred have been worked up to 2 months after closing. At that time we were ghosted by Pulte warranty side Tile installation grout is less than quality expected. I would love to talk to someone to discuss quality of a $475,000 home. Very disappointed owner due to quality and unkept promises.

From the very beginning, whenever we expressed a concern it was dismissed as just being part of the process and that it would be taken care of later, but that wasn't the case. So now we have a fireplace that is crooked, a recycle drawer that isn't soft close and paint-splattered stonework.

Carlos was absolutely awesome, extremely helpful and responsive to concerns. The house was "live in ready" at closing, but there were some finishing details that were supposed to be taken care of the following day and I never heard back from the gentleman, Dean, who was going to have them fixed. When my concern was brought up to Carlos, he gave me all the information needed to take care of my needs. Overall a great experience, and I would purchase another home from Carlos and Pulte...but this is my forever home.

They were wonderful when they were trying to earn our business, but once we signed the paperwork they just didn't seem to care about our satisfaction. The issues started immediately after we signed the contract when we found out that our home was going to be a different orientation than we were told when we decided to purchase the property. We were so excited to buy a home through pulte. The price was high but the location and space was well worth it. Everything was great until they began to change things about 2 months before our initial closing date. We got a new build manager, communication stopped and build quality went down. I bought a brand new house from Pulte Homes in October 2020. I closed on the house & began moving in. However, there are a SIGNIFICANT # of problems w/ the house. One of the closet door knobs is missing. I have a water leak. One of the toilets was not properly installed. The carpet had a large # of nails sticking up. There was a lot of construction debris in the backyard. The garage door is really loud while opening or closing. There are at least 1 dozen other issues. These things should not be happening, especially w/ a brand new house.
