The most important things like roof, structure, foundation appear to be just fine. I just think fit and finish on cosmetic things lack true craftsmanship and attention to detail for what I would consider luxury homes at this price point. Pulte “sells” their internal QC program and it was nonexistent on the interior finishes phase of the house. I purchased a Pulte home in a different state over 10 years ago for a third of the price and I was much more impressed. This go-around was definitely disappointing. Was easy process, however we are having trouble getting the contractor come back out to fix issues that we saw on our walk down. House was not clean and found sun flower seeds in the carpet. Workmanship is not the best. Easy communication when we were buying the house.

Many systems in the house are very good but poorly integrated. Very good HVAC, very good home controls, good lighting but the ceilings in the house have holes everywhere. None of the systems are aesthetically aligned, multiple access panels for service, each contractor did what they wanted without any overall management. Cleaners came in and ruined stained doors and trim by using bleach and water to sanitize home. Kitchen cabinets are not commercial. Installer drove nails through the side of cabinets, smeared putty all over finished surfaces, cabinet trim fell off, scratches everywhere, ...

The process started off easily, but then my house sat with no work being done for a month until right before closing. Then closing had to be pushed back twice. I’ve been in the house for a month and it’s still not done.

We closed on our new home on Halloween, 10/31/19, after doing a walk through a few days prior. Closing on Pulte's schedule has turned out to be a mistake. We were assured that all open items would be addressed expeditiously. Although a few issues have been taken care of, the majority has not. So we are apparently no longer a priority as Pulte constructs new homes around us. List of punchlist items that were to be completed between the final walkthrough and closing were not completed and remain incomplete three months later. Inconsistent communication with agent and construction manager. Last minute delays and confusion was common. Good service from title company. Numerous warranty items need attention but cannot be submitted as you are only allowed one opportunity to request warranty work on construction items.

The issues started from almost the day we signed our contract and now 8 weeks since closing they still haven't fixed all the problems. I could go on and on but it's just not worth my time.

Bring your own Realtor, put all communications in writing during the building process and DO NOT CLOSE until all work is completed to your satisfaction. Even as disappointing as the Pulte experience was, Dan (the last minute appointed Supervisor) worked his tail off to full fill HIS idea of a quality experience. Thanks Dan!

No sense of urgency to resolve issues raised. Closing was delayed as a result. Walk through items never followed up on. When walking with the CM to close items, majority of items not compete and evident the CM was not following up to ensure complete. Pulte sales agent did not honor items in contract and threatened to go to litigation over a small issue. Rather than honoring purchase agreement, a credit was provided and I had to perform work after closing.

I have bought 3 new homes in the last 15 years and by far this was the worse experience ever. Promises were made to have me rate high but then weren’t even attempted to be kept. A signed contract by Pulte and I was redone removing all incentives less than a week before buying the house (huge red flag). The microwave was broken, made a load sound when turned on, was replaced by a used microwave which is missing parts. Very expensive home, quality of structural is good, but experience leaves a lot to be desired.

Trustworthiness is frequently surfacing due to how the Pulte Group responds to the homeowner once the property is turned over to the owner. This brief survey does not allow for specifics only general response(s). The longer that I own the home, the less Pulte is interested in my concerns, expectations or grievances. This is across the board from sales to repairs. Talking to other homeowners in my neighborhood, they have similar experiences also.

A lack of respect, attention to detail and quality of construction is less than substandard. Finishes were done poorly and now that weather is changing it is apparent this it is not an energy efficient home. The cold comes right through the windows. Poor quality at an extremely expensive cost.

Our Pulte home was rushed to be completed and it shows in the workmanship and detail. After several walk thru appointments and issues discussed, nothing was corrected prior to closing. It’s taken months of meetings, missed appointments, emails to even have companies come in to correct issues, and they end up making it worse. The homes are not well supervised or managed. People who work for Pulte are not good at all professional. The work they did for my home is below par and if we ask why you did it like this they say we need to put service requests all the time. Even service requests we put a month ago no one responded yet..still waiting on fixes for all the substandard work They did.
