The building process was great, always in communication with building manager, Carl was quick to respond to any questions and would send pictures because we weren’t able to be around for the different stages. My only issues have been after we moved in. We paid for A smart home however door locks were not installed and Company told us Pulte was responsible for installing them. We closed on the house most two months ago and I still have no smart locks. We’ve had roof shingles come off the house twice in the last month and a screen door that still has not been fixed, which is not fixed by Pulte but one of there contractors. Great Customer Service from the sales office to the contract supervisor we were assigned, they went above and beyond to meet my needs.

Flooding problem that should have been addressed before closing

I love my home but there have been so many issues come up that have been unaddressed which is frustrating. Dents in a door, scuffs on my cabinets (pointed out a month prior to closing), gouges in my bathtub, horrible looking thresholds, the list goes on and on. By in large it has been crickets! I am so frustrated!

We are about to send in a punch list for outstanding items but quality of work is very poor as a lot off things were rushed

This is my 2nd Pulte home and I had very good experience with the first house with the Quality so I chose Pulte again. I am very pleased with the design, work completed early, quality and the people I worked with. If there could be any improvements, I would suggest follow-ups after closures for the items that need to be fixed. I found that some of the companies do not respond for technical issues or repairs. It was great to have a project manager so engaged.

Overall was a great experience. Anyone having a new home built rite now will deal with COVID supply issue's. Despite those challenges our sales rep Matt and field Rob were amazing. Matt was very helpful in the beginning helping us navigate the buying process and selecting add ons. Every week during the build he kept us updated with pictures which we looked foward to Sunday mornings. Rob was great. He took care of any concerns or issues that popped up and was very detailed oriented. His experience helped us make a couple small changes that made all the difference. After closing, some small issues that came up were quickly handled. I was very impressed with their customer service and we love our new house. A slight communications issue on a couple of things. They were resolved. Always courteous and polite. No major problems.

The house is very structurally sound. Very impressed with this aspect of home.

Generally speaking, Pulte's standards are high and their responsiveness to issues is excellent; however, there is room for improvement when it comes to the supervision of subcontractors/business partners during the final "finishing" construction phase. Some finish items need more attention to detail: carpentry trim work, final painting (we had lots of "overspray" at the crown molding/wall area; crooked electrical switch plates; granite not polished (rough edges); landscaping selections don't fit size/scale of yard. The worst issue we encountered was an improperly installed door threshold/quarter-round trim molding that our small dog caught his paw in, twisted and ruptured a disc resulting in emergency spinal surgery. If the installer had taken five extra minutes to fix the "gap", there would have been no hazard. So, as stated above, more attention to detail needed with the subcontractors performing the finish work. We especially love the modern layout, the generous room sizes, the flooring options and the master bath is fantastic! Pulte has extremely high standards overall--so work with your construction representative and field supervisor closely to ensure the finished product meets their high standards and your overall expectations. Great home for us. Our first new build. Very happy with the construction.

Our first construction manager did a great job inspecting the site and making sure corrections were made. He did such a great job he was promoted before he could finish the last month prior to our closing. His replacement was less attentive to details and following through with actions. I wish we had a third party inspection prior to closing.

Sales office staff & builder are very helpful. Five Stars ! As for overall process, I don't feel safe in my new without a functioning Ring doorbell or fence for my dog which is a long process & waiting time. The company has not activated the Ring after several calls & 40+ days

I have had to call on Eddie several times since our walkthrough. He has been very prompt and helpful each time.

Build was quick and accurate. Minor cosmetic issues, a few mechanical, all addressed in a timely manor.

Sales process was solid. Mortgage process was fair (positive with advisor / negative with processor). Building quality manager was fantastic pre-closing (very helpful and attentive) - but disappeared after we submitted a positive survey result. Overall pleased, just currently frustrated as we are unable to close out 4 simple, lingering issues since pre-closing (2 months post!!).

The overall workmanship of the paint, floorboards, and Sheetrock taping seemed to be ok. There are some areas where the work looks amateur-ish. Some floor moldings didn’t get covered thoroughly with paint, and when carpet was installed there are cuts in floor moldings made by the knife used to install carpet. There are areas in Sheetrock were you can see the seams. 2 weeks After we closed my stove shorted out, and there was a crack in one of the tubs upstairs. Both issues were resolved quickly.

High costs for options

Overall build quality is good. Be sure to ask beforehand where the outside unit for your A/C will be located. We didn't ask and ours is outside our bedroom window. Not happy about it, but can't do anything about it.

Pulte offers a very nice home building experience. They have several models to choose from and the quality of work is very good. Just be sure to review all the options before you sign your contract so that you can tailor your home to your liking. These are not custom built homes but you have many options to choose from and can build your dream house at a very affordable price.
