I had a great experience building with Pulte. I'm a realtor and have had the opportunity to work with a lot of builders. Pulte is a favorite.

average quality of workmanship & materials

This is my first build and has not been a great experience. The painting and caulking is bad and my cabinet lower piece has a large gap. The garage door does not automatically work, I am having to manually lift it up and down. There is no sense of urgency from the construction manager to address these issues as many issues were identified before closing and i was told that these items would be addresses. Also, not to mention that they did not clean the sliding door track which has very noticeable dirt. This I was also told would be cleaned.

Build manager at this neighborhood was great at explaining the process and taking care of any and all issues.

With the number of issues we found during the inspections and walkthroughs, I am not confident that the house is of good quality. I now question if there were things we missed due to the shear amount we did find. It leads me to believe one of two things, the project manger saw the things that were wrong and didn't care or he had never done a walkthrough before showing us the house, both of which, are equally frightening.

Great layout, lots of space - decent for the price!

Overall the place is built alright and I can’t complain about most of it. Even though I upgraded to get the nicer package stuff the faucets, light fixtures, carpet padding, tile work were all cheap. Nice tiles but there’s not a single flat tile in the master shower. They clearly rushed the closing because there’s specks of wall paint all over the floor, trim, and cabinets. They didn’t even leave me any extra so that I could do touch ups. After closing we realized of a few smaller things were wrong and they were pretty quick to fix it. The quality of all the materials feel very cheap and the work looks like it was rushed. For the price paid I definitely expected at least a bit more quality in regards to carpets, vinyl sheets in bathrooms and flooring.

They are highly respected and skilled home builder. They value their customer business and make an effort to earn their trust.

Generally speaking our experience has been good. Supply delays made things tricky. Going to the property regularly helped.

We had a terrible time fighting with Pulte about weather proofing issues before windows were put in. The house was filthy when we moved in, and I’m tired of fighting to have things corrected that weren’t done correctly the first time.

We have good experiecne from the project manager.

Cheap quality construction, had a sink leak immediately noticed after closing, when asked to be fixed under warranty, I was told to wait for 11 month walk through. I lost the trust in the warranty and overall Pulte.

We can understand the uncertainty of construction material's supply during the pandemic, however there should be more communication. From the website supposed to be able to sign in and monitor the progress of construction, there was not much updates we could know. The quality of finished job was not satisfactory. The builder seems to be in hurry, speeding up the work without the quality control, left a few apparent defects which shouldn't happen. We had quite a few problems need to be solved, and waiting for field manager to come in, check and correct. Over a month passed, we haven't seen the person showed up. ... More

There are some major issue where during the construction. Our Master bathroom shower is not leveled correctly and water does not drain. in a month, issue has not been fixed yet and it seems they will need to rebuild half of the shower in order to fix it ;(

Pulte’s design floor plans were the best we found when compared to three other national builders. Realistic layouts for everyday life with no wasted space. They’re also the most responsive builder I’ve ever worked with. Thank you!

Sales Counselor and Construction manager were really helpful whenever there is a question for us. Keep up the great work.

Lack of attention to detail in finishing work. Can still feel uneven concrete from corrections of issues in the slab through the finished floor. Multiple issues with electrical and plumbing that needed to be addressed in first 2 weeks. Of our 3 experiences with new construction this was the worst

The process was trustworthy and actually occurred on time

Houses built by Pulte are excellent! We love our townhome!

Very Average quality homes. Overpriced.
