Our Field Manager Jonathan has been instrumental throughout the home buying process. He has answered every question we’ve had and has fixed any issue without any hesitation. We are very impressive with his responsiveness. However, we would love to have seen some more attention to detail as far as workmanship. There has been some instances where we can tell the work was rushed. No major issue, we just would have liked to see the quality a little better.

Pulte does not supervise subcontractors and demand that work be done right the first time. Subcontractors do the bare minimum. They are supposed to clean up after themselves, but this is not enforced, so our lot and house were trashed repeatedly. There is no pride in workmanship.

Field Manager has a problem with keeping appointments he made for warranty maintenance. Defective blinds STILL have not been fully corrected, Exhaust fan in bathroom replaced-upstairs bathroom exhaust starting to go out. Bathtub faucet needs to be replaced,, going on 60 days and nothing. Finish/surface of concrete driveway and walk way is flawed. Brown stains & dark spots. Advised RDU Warranty was told it was not their problem.

Our experience thus far with Pulte has been great. From our interactions with our sales person and then our building manager, they both always took the time to answer our questions. We are very happy with our purchase.

Cheap Homes, never buy from Pulte

Issues identified during home inspections and Build Quality Check, are taking months even after closing is done. The fixes are still pending and needs constant followup to get it fixed and still pending. Keep scheduling every week, but then noone shows up and then the cycle repeats.

Everything has been pretty seamless so far. I do like the build quality.

Some better attention to minor details, which in the long run makes a difference. Don’t rely on the homeowner to check your work.

Such a great experience from our sales agent Patrick to our construction manager Chris and the closing process. They were very open and helpful thru the entire process and we’re on top of all aspects of the process. Would definitely recommend Pulte and the Woodbury team

Not a great experience

As everyone knows with every new home ,you should expect some obstacles, but in this case I had a great team who responded and took care of my issues.

We are happy with our home

I would not recommend Pulte to others who are interesting in using this builder. After being in the house for a month, I have noticed numerous items that were completely poorly. The lack of response from the PM is disheartening. I have friend who is ready to sign in a different Pulte community that I will be discouraging from doing so.

I couldn't have moved into this new home from out of state without the help of your staff, especially Rodney. Relocation during a pandemic was especially difficult. Their flexibility and responsiveness made it work.

Great customer service Excellent

Build experience was very good. However, the mortgage experience (separate from the build co.) was not. Unexpected valuation problems could be avoided with better coordination between marketing/pricing/sales and the mortgage underwriters.

The thoroughness in explaining the build process and responsiveness to requests. We feel the construction is solid and the compliments we receive on the build itself are great. We have purchased many home over the last 40+ years and this is our best experience to date. Great Job!!!

We are still enjoying the NewHome , just haven’t got into issue s yet

This home was built very quickly and the neighborhood is in a great location. Overall, I’m happy with it. There are some things that I’m not happy about: the painters were not great and did a sloppy job, most of the door frames were cut with a dull blade or not to the correct length, the house does not seem as efficient as we were told it would be, and the neighbors stereo bass rattles the dishes in the cabinets of my kitchen. We had been told that the firewall made it almost impossible to hear your neighbors, so our neighbors are either that loud, or the firewall is not as thick as advertised. ... More

I love pulte. This is my second home with them and plan on buying in the future. I do wish some of the trades people were evaluated as some rookie mistakes were made. In saying that, other vendors did remarkable work ( tile guy) I also stopped getting responses from my pm with open ended issues. (Plumbing and damage caused by Plumber) Other then that, I plan on building again. Your process is the golden standard and enjoy your product.

I was an out of state buyer, from loan application processing to payments to electronic signatures of contract - all were done through online/remote experience. Excellent Technology and Systems to enable contactless buying experience during Covid-19 period.

All little issues were taken care of right away. No big issues were found. Very good quality and impressive customer service with all aspects of the Pulte home buying experience.

I found a new construction Pulte home when the frame was already up, and was told that due to that, no design/customization could be made because Pulte had already made all decisions and purchased all materials. The sales associate just seemed very un-accomodating in that regard and I'm not sure if there was a window of opportunity to make some design changes to my liking, or not (I am a first time home buyer). Regardless, if changes were not feasible, I should have been provided with a full rendering of the interior/exterior of the home so I could know what to expect and make a better informed choice about purchasing the home. In the end, I was not totally satisfied with the appearance of the exterior and would have made selected some other interior options as well. Additionally, I was informed by the Sales Specialist that there was a Amtrak train track near my street/homesite but that she had seldom heard any trains come by and it was just Amtrak that passed quickly. However, both Amtrak and very noisy freight trains come through routinely throughout the day AND night. Had I known about the train aspect, I would not have purchased this particular home. This is also of paramount importance because due to COVID-19, I work from home and it is important to live in a community where there are little to no noise distractions. I feel that the information provided to me and my realtor (who was present with me at the time) was both misinformed and misleading. Of note, the temporary sales office in the community was not as close to the train track as my home, so the Sales Specialist would not actually know about train activity during the day or night unless she spent significant time near my street/at my home site. I, along with my realtor, would have appreciated a more honest answer regarding the trains so that I could have avoided purchasing a home that is not in a location to my satisfaction or tolerability. ... build is not the greatest quality but acceptable for the price range

Construction manager Chad was so great to work with. Very responsive, friendly and followed through.
