During the process of building this home we had a building manager who failed to address multiple issues addressed by my building inspector. Halfway through this process that manager was “fired” and replaced another who did address all of our issues and responded quickly. The closing process was smooth, meetings with everyone went well and our needs were being met... until closing. We signed off on our house at closing after speaking with the new building manager regarding problems that arose during our blue tape inspection. We just bought a home from Pulte (and had one previously from them in Atlanta). Many of the choices they had made before we bought the home, but we were happy with the quality of materials and they took pride in fixing all the issues we found. They are easy to work with and have a very comprehensive set of meetings to handoff the new home to you. Even now that we've finished the purchase they are still responsive at making sure we enjoy the home (and giving us ideas for contractors to make additions and enhancements for the house).

New to NC. Love the area and neighborhood. House lacks attention to detail but overall is better than average. Disappointed with recreational center and pool not being finished. Should have been done before social distancing came along. Have a few issues with the house that have been submitted but also aren't being addressed.

We had a pretty good home buying experience with Pulte Homes. Though there were few initial hiccups around the time of closing and also after moving in, the Field Manager took care of all the high risk items after we moved in. Customer support from Pulte has been pretty good on fixing some of the urgent issues after we moved in. One thing we are not quite happy is we were not given a default white cabinets option during design center meetings, while another owner who was just around 2-3 weeks behind us in the home buying process were given a default white cabinets option. Since moving into our house, we have had quite a few issues (broken furnace, plumbing not working, creaky floors) as well as realizing that there were some poor design choices or just cheapness (cabinet doors that need bumpers because they bang into walls and other cabinets, odd placement of countless light switches, master bath door opens in front of shower, frames only on 3 out of 6 mirrors, counter overhangs not quite enough for comfortable seating, floor tiles and vinyl not running the way any of us would have expected, furnace lines running directly in the center of the master bedroom ...
