Absolutely Substandard appliances given, since one month issues are not being addressed. Only a blame game, fire alarm is not functioning well and beeps daily full day and night. Appliances provided are substandard and not working, Pulte executives say they can’t do anything. Children have final exams and we are living in a devastated state with Pulte homes

We have some issues before closing and after closing. Send numerous emails. Not getting good response. They said I need to mention my issues before closing and some said I can email them after closing. Still few issues are there out. Looks like no one is

Buying a home for the first time can be a really scary and stressful experience, but we would do it all over again with Pulte. Starting with Pulte Mortgage, Shawn and Chris worked so hard to help us buy our dream home. Shawn was so encouraging in the face of hardship and her positivity made all the difference for us- we will never forget her kindness! Caison, our building manager, has been helping us handle any and all issues after moving in. He has been very receptive to our needs and we are very happy to have him in our corner! Thanks to a great team, we are now living in our dream home!

Quality for $400K is NOT a priority

The location was very desirable, but the Quality was not. Expectations for a nearly $400K unit were simply NOT met. The upgrades which were nearly $50K, were done with very little attention to Quality. My expectations for a new build were similar to purchasing a new car, yet this Pulte Townhome offered very little of that. Poor quality was evident in the painting, caulking, trim work. The construction process left the carpet full of construction dirt, despite the claim that it was "deep cleaned". Simple items such as insuring the windows were cleaned, were not completed. Pulte sales team was great and got us set up fast and efficiently. Our construction manager was attentive during the construction phase but after it was a challenge to keep on them to finish the necessary work after closing. The build quality is passable but often find it wasn't done with any level of craftsmanship. Landscaping left much to be desired. Sod placed in the dead of winter has died and have been trying to wait for a reply. The sod dying and not taking is leading to some soil erosion and grading issues. I hope they respond soon to resolve this issue.

Pulte Mortgage wonderful to work with. Sales office, nice agents over there, but workmanship, I am not happy. Even if buying new construction, my advice is always pay for a third party inspection.

When purchasing a Pulte Home it is imperative that you have the home inspected by an independent home inspector at least 20 days prior to closing. Please do not underestimate how important this step is.

The design and style of Pulte Homes, location and the neighborhood layout are what lead to our decision to purchase a Pulte home. We are very happy with our home overall. That said, to be honest there are some small quality issues, which the team is quick and responsive to resolve, but they do exist. At the end, there was some rushing and it resulted in floors and paint splatters not being fully cleaned up and some other small blemishes like excess grout in the master shower, etc. I would highly recommend Pulte, they are great to work with.

One word to say about pulte is “Worst”. Right from the beginning of home contract signing nothing went according to the plan. Delivery date got pushed 4 times without any prior notice. I was literally homeless for almost 23 days staying in hotels and friends place due to Pultes last minute date push. No compensation was provided with all these issues. More over after moving in, house is sub par. Floors are with paint stains, my master bathroom was completed after a month of move in. Still open issues yet to be addressed by service team. So far a nice experience. I just felt that, in a rush to close the house sooner, there were few things not taken care. The flooring was not so clean despite requesting to be cleaned few times. First floor carpet had marks several places and for a brand new home this is unacceptable. Some wood and Paint works are not so great. The front door paint is 2/10 kind of rated work. Front door and back door locks are not great, doors need to be pulled hard to put the locks ( remember its a new house) I am happy with the location otherwise and the house is spacious for me. I believe the overall quality of the home that I have bought is not great compared to the town home built by Pulte that I moved from. I am extremely disappointed particularly with the way the rain water drainage system has been designed and implemented in my home and in the community. It is clearly a cost cutting measure and it is certainly the worst that I have seen in any property I have lived so far.

I understand it's common that new homes have issues. Although I think the builder should try to fix those issues in timely manner. We had problems with leaking gas that took 3 weeks to solve despite the gas being dangerous both for our health and may explode. The communication with the warranty team is terrible and they don't bother to respond to emails. I see a big problem with the warranty team. We bought a house with 3 bathrooms and 2 bathtubs, both tubs are leaking, one is completely unusable because of the holes in the tub. It's been 2 months and they still were not able to resolve ...

Pulte Mortgage loan consultants are arrogant people. For every question you ask, the response starts with you signed this document. They would deduct appraisal fees on a lot that didn't even get a permit, no clear communication about when money will be deducted and for what purpose, basically customer service is non-existent, and their attitude is like you're stuck with us. I like the way the neighborhood was developed, and the layout of the floorplan. The townhouses are spacious with 9’ ceilings and plenty of windows. The neighbors are great. The problem is the quality of workmanship: Fundamental issues like floors not level (and they creak), walls not straight, and several faucets plumbed backwards.
