Various vendors experiment on the name of Pulte

Pulte handed over to several vendors for construction. Many individuals are freshets and don’t know basics. They simply experiment on Home. While pulte boast building energy efficient homes, they provided single switch for entire exterior configuration of lights. Engineer don’t want to correct any thing in Rutherford,Fuquay Varina

I recall the journey with Pulte started in Dec '21 when I visited few of their sites before booking 1 townhome in RTP area, NC. Since then to Oct '22...we had various teams supporting respective stages .... Sales experience was great . Construction experience was excellent Mortgage experience went was smooth Closing experience was seamless Post closing service experience is awesome. Build Quality has been the best . Based on my above experience with Pulte, I would recommend them for sure.

The Pulte sales team fails to admit and take responsibility for any wrong doings or mistakes that they've made. They will attempt to sweep their mistakes under the rug and fail to communicate their errors or find a solution. You will have to contact them many times in order to receive a response. However, Dustin, the construction manager, is great to work with! He spends quality time reviewing the construction process during each step of the home building process!

Quality of workmen ship and materials used were not even up-to the mark. Construction managers had no control on the contractors. They just do things on their own. I would say, they deployed some freshers to do the job and they did what they can do. Most of the items in the house had issues. They tried masking these up during the walkthrough. Upon using these items on a daily basis we started seeing issues. When reached out to warranty team, they came back saying that the damage could have happened because of the usage which doesn’t make any sense. No one cares about the issues and ...

The quality of the home was very bad with lot of issues like cracked granites, bad quality items even after availing Smart Hone package. Unresponsive construction manager with very bad workmanship.

Pulte builds cheap quality homes. After moving in I definitely felt that in terms of value proposition, it is not worth it. The homes are built with cheap quality materials and finishes.

Rusted kitchen countertop. The spots are spreading everyday. None of the people from Pulte are responding. They are claiming it to be natural stone mineral deposits. This is not true at all.

Great Space and Build

My wife and I originally wanted to go ground up as far as our next home was concerned. The neighborhood we chose wouldn’t have anything ready until next spring and with the way interest rates were rising, that wouldn’t have been smart. We were shown a spec home that checked 90% of our non negotiables and made an offer. The home has been spectacular thus far and can’t wait to continue to make this space ours for years to come.

Have had a decent experience so. There are some issues like some electrical ports not working, planted tree that didn’t survive .. etc Trees are apparently not covered under warranty even if they have been planted just before closing and didn’t survive even for a month but was assured it will survive. They don’t want to take care of it. Some of the contracts are very slow to respond or won’t respond at all when issues are raised under warranty at all, have to follow up frequently.

The process to build completion was fraught with frustrations. The Pulte mortgage process was awful - responsiveness was almost zero and had to constantly follow-up and track down the person assigned to my closing. The individual has a permanent out of office set so you cannot reach them. The Pulte construction manager is a negative rating on a scale of 0-10. Responsiveness is non-existent. I was not informed of a supply chain issue with my cabinets. I was not informed of a changed closing date and just happened to find out from Pulte mortgage "Hey, your closing date was pushed a month, did ...

Some issues and need attention

1. There are some areas at the living room lvp flooring where I can see some pop ups which moves and down. They are pretty significant. 2. There is crack in the concrete near the edge in front porch. 3. Loft carpet has a discoloration of line. This has been passed to builder and they sent a person to check it out. No updates from them. 4. Dishwasher is installed bent towards right side. RDU warranty team says they can look only during the built to last check point which is after 11 months. Is there a way to just have a check and evaluate.

Moving in day nightmare!

First day at my new home, I found out that the living room and 2nd floor bathroom ceilings were wet. The construction people came in and I was told that this was due to the water leak in ac unit in the attic. The drain pipe was not connected to the ac, so water was pouring out straight down to the ceiling below. No one inspected that the ac unit was running properly! They had to cut open the ceilings and dry them. They brought in huge blowers that were loud and I wasn’t able to move in to my home for a week due to the ongoing repair.
