Pulte is a very professional organization, vertically integrated to make the buying process easier. I was incented to get my mortgage and homeowners insurance from them and saved all my closing costs. From start to finish, I closed in under 30 days. I highly recommend them as a quality builder in NC, and have had more positive experiences than working with Toll Brothers for my last house in 2000. This is our first home. Our experience from the very first moment has been great. Patrick has been a great point of contact and always answered all our silly queries. Our construction manager Anthony is incredible. He was gave us a good walkthrough, explained us with details. Spent enough time with us to clarify our questions. He addressed all the points that came up in inspection and other additional items that we wanted to be covered. He is very patient and is always quick to respond. Concerning Pulte Homes Field Manager.

Field Manager has a problem with keeping appointments he made for warranty maintenance. Defective blinds STILL have not been fully corrected, Exhaust fan in bathroom replaced-upstairs bathroom exhaust starting to go out. Bathtub faucet needs to be replaced,, going on 60 days and nothing. Finish/surface of concrete driveway and walk way is flawed. Brown stains & dark spots. Advised RDU Warranty was told it was not their problem.

It was a good experience working with Pulte. The few things are noticing some information shared that was not factual. Also make sure your project manager writes down EVERYTHING you talk about being an issue or needing fixed. It would be easy for them to say there was no record of previous conversation on the issue and try to hand it off as an after purchase issue.

Lee, the construction manager was great. He has been very responsive to our needs. However, dealing with PulteMortgage was less than ideal. I have an 850 credit score, but they were very nick picky before finally approving my eligibility for a mortgage.

Pretty smooth process for buying. We bought another persons house who backed out so I can’t speak to the materials selection process. We had to move our closing date back a day because final inspections weren’t done, which was stressful coordinating a cross country move. Then we had a plumbing issue on night one with water coming out of a ceiling vent but they were there the next day to help fix it. We’ve been in the house just over two months and have noticed some issues with quality.

Very bad planning on window placing

We brought the home with vallybrooke plan with elevation 22,two windows in this plan kept on bathroom and one in closet-both won’t give the use of windows. Another plan issue is even though home is more than 3300 there is no proper media room- loft space is designed kind of waist like many doors and closet-we don’t have a place to keep our projector-we went with this plan because pulte agent mentioned this plan have big loft for projector but after built we realized that this room is not useful for media room purpose

Overall I am happy with my experience with Pulte but I had some issues which I was not expecting to have. They addressed most of them but still working on some of those. It is disappointing to deal with some of the items after you sign your house's closing documents.

Little upsetting on the broken water pipe that should’ve been caught before I moved into the home. However the repairs were quick. The garage door doesn’t have a weather seal which I will have to submit a request on. Other than that, the home is great.

I love my new home, features in the house are annoying and risky (smart features like security and garage door connect to wifi and have security risks), pest control tries to upsell you. Builders did an ok job, not the best but good. Underwriting not clear. 3.5-4/5

House and neighborhood is awesome - no complains with Pulte - but the HOA management called Charleston Management Company is just the WORST I have ever seen - arrogant, don’t work and don’t approve anything, dont respond and don’t resolve any request - my life is stuck because they just dont care - BEFORE BUYING - make sure its not Charleston Management otherwise DONT buy it ! There are options ! I will work with my neighbors to expel them from our community… find me on facebook if you need more details . Only.
