If you have Thomas as your field manager you will have a wonderful experience. He is extremely responsive; and sometimes you don't even have to ask as he already knows what needs to be repaired. I would rate him a 12 out of 10 - couldn't be more pleased!

I recently purchased my first home and entrusted Pulte with its creation. The home, overall, is incredibly beautiful and well built. There are, of course, some small things that I wish were done better, but overall I am very pleased with the home, its quality, and the process throughout, and would definitely recommend Pulte to someone looking to build a new house.

Wonderful house... not quite finished

The house, the layout, and the option were tremendous and well thought out. However we were promised certain items to be finished and installed but almost 2 months after we are still waiting for those items. Additionally, during the build process, the communication was very good but after the signing it went to nearly non existent where I have to make office visits to find out any information.

Stone veneer on front

We were very disappointed with the stone veneer on the front of the house; it doesn't go all the way to the ground I haven't seen any other homes in this development with the stone veneer. All the homes with brick or siding go all the way to the ground. We were told something about water seepage but that was incorrect. We were told it was a code thing but the inspector came out, he said it had nothing to do with the code. And then we were told that that's just the way Pulte does it. It looks absolutely horrible! I can't imagine that Pulte would be proud of this. No one from Pulte has offered ...

The sales and design process was great. Sales team upfront and helped with many issues. You have to do your research with design phase but Pulte has a good website that really helps. They have a design meeting that helps pull everything together. Things did not go as well with final stage of building. Up to the last few weeks things seemed to go as planned. During the last few weeks there was a rush to complete. We offered to delay closing but we’re told Pulte management did not want to do that. Electrical and landscaping don’t meet standards

The use of a plastic raceway attached to the wood with only one screw does not meet the standards I was taught. Especially with an open attic above it. Outlet Abs switch locations leave much to be desired. Landscaping is the biggest fail. No planting diagram is provided, but the irrigation system is a total fail. The controller supposedly is WiFi enabled but doesn’t work. Sprinklers are buried too deep or at angles. The sprinklers themselves use a special tool that isn’t provided ($0.40 cost in bulk) and worst, no education on how to maintain the sprinklers is offered

The warranty department is naturally trying to get out of doing work that the trades should have handled. We have AC pipes installed too close to the foundation and it makes incredibly loud noise when the freyon cycles. It was raised during our final walk through but it couldn't be resolved at that time. I was left with the impression it could be resolved via a ticket and i am now fighting the good foght to get it foxed while my daughter is struggling to sleep in her room - shebnow sleeps with noise canceling in her ears. The overall buying experience, while the house was under construction was, acceptable, however, a few days before the closing, during our final walk-through, we encountered issues with different items showing damage, for example, the Jack and Jill bathroom tub, it had a visible crack in the front, and our construction manager sent someone to patch it up, we requested to have a new tub installed, but our request was ignored. I loved working with my sales agent. He was and continues to be supportive through the process. This is my second Pulte home. I also work well with my construction manager who is responsive to any issues I have. My disappointment is in some of the fine details and some of the issues I'm having post close. There is a reason why I bought a new home and it was so I wouldn't have to fix anything. Turn-key. Our general contractor was great on trying to get things done with the backlog of materials being done, but some of the trades were not as quality in their work ethics as they should have been. Trying to get issues (minor or major) resolved has been challenging once you go to settlement.

Our sales rep was absolutely wonderful so we were very disappointed when there were numerous issues with the home that the warranty team did not address in a prompt matter. We sent multiple emails without any response for several days and it took many more days to get just a few minor things resolved. The other things that need to be corrected still have not been addressed and we will have been in the home for almost 2 months now. We would never choose Pulte again as they seem to stop caring once you close.
